Init.D Support For the S7 Edge (Root Required) - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Themes, Apps, and M

First off credit goes to @_alexndr for the original file from this thread. All I did was edit the mount point in the updater script to work with our device. Flash the attached file with FlashFire to add init.d support to your VZW S7 Edge. This may or may not work for other variants of the S7 or Edge, it all depends if the mount points are the same. I only own the S7 Edge and can confirm it works.

It adds init.d support so you can run automated scripts when the phone boots.

i believe its the same on S7 straight. havent tried yet since im at work but jkruse rom works on my S7 straight no issues

If using systemless root you really already have this just placing your scripts in the su.d folder in the /su folder it does the same thing as int.d support and placing scripts in the etc/init.d folder

This did not work on my g_935v that's rooted

Don't know what isn't working on yours it worked on my 935V but either way it's redundant. See the post just above yours. I think it's safe to close the thread now.

a flashable zip using cwm/twrp... whoever that just root the device and dont have cwm/twrp can just unzip the files and copy to system/app folder and make sure the permission are rw-r--r--
can be use by odex/deodex system. odex system need to manually delete the .odex files first
btw. i only test it at 4.2.2 Note 8.0 3G version since that's the Os that i'm running now. and definitely touchwiz a must.

Increasing Stylo's volume.

[DISCLAIMER] I use this for my T-mobile LG G Stylo this also works for the MetroPCS variant, I don't know if it'll work for any other variant. therefore I'm not responsible for what happens if you decide to use this, as always please make a backup before proceeding. You also must be rooted in order for this to work.
This is what I use to increase my volume I forgot who was the originator of this file but
HUGE SHOUTOUT TO HIMHIM!!
These are the steps I was told to take :
1. download ---->THIS<----
2. open your file explorer [I use root file explorer] and look for the file you just downloaded "tweak2.AUX.mixer_paths.xml" then copy and paste it into SYSTEM-->ETC
EVERYTHING WILL BE DONE IN THE ETC FOLDER
3. Find the "mixer_paths.xml" file copy the name then rename it "mixer_paths.xml.old"
4. Find the "tweak2.AUX.mixer_paths.xml" file and rename it "mixer_paths.xml" or just paste the text you just copied.
5. After you renamed the file, find it and Change permissions as seen in this screenshot, after that hit "ok"

6. Reboot into recovery and wipe cache and delvik cache.
7. Hope I helped.
You can also combine this with:

CAN ANYONE HELP WITH PACKAGING ROMS ? !!!

Hello
I exported the core files of my " SPRING " model industrial tablet with ClassyKitchen_Free_Beta_1.0.4 program and made the changes I wanted and repackaged it but it doesn't work, guess NTFS packaging
Is it possible to pack it the same as the original package file I have or what can I do to make it work?
Thank you in advance for your answers.

Is your bootloader unlocked? Is your device rooted? If not, you can't flash a modified system file.
How are trying to flash/install this?
Hello
actually i am not flashing i am just updating the system with a helper apk
My update process is successful with the file I sent in the first picture, but my device cannot read it when any changes are made to the file.
helper apk image like this
as @Droidriven said, if your device is not bootloader unlocked or rooted, you cannot install the update. the system checks for an official update. your modified system lacks those official markers, thus refuses to install it.
