Yep use lg bridge on your computer. BUT, you will lose the ability to flash recovery and root your device for the time being. But then a minute of looking at the threads would have told you all of that.

I'm not interested in root to be honest. Not yet anyway. I used to, when I had the G2, but I lost interest/time/patience once I got out of college (not saying that rooting/flashing/etc is a college student thing, but just not my thing anymore).
I also have a strange problem with using LG Bridge. I got a "Image Verifying Failed" error message at 49%, and then a message in bridge that I had to retry.

He/She must have used capture plus to take that screen shot and then a very slight touch of finger may have made that scratch as the pen tool is ON by default when you use capture plus. Oh by the way there is another one close to the word device.

Wife got her update. I rooted a week to soon. Lol. It is being pushed.

Anybody received the new Tmobile update today?

Just received the T-Mobile Note 5 112.67 mb update. Updating now.
Yep. Just installed it. I noticed one change. They added a camera to the dialer.

Yeah!! What does the video call do? Not noticing anything else though.

Obviously I'm not rooted, hence why I said "what the heck".

No problem, note that I'd use the word "IF".
Is it video calling feature
I'm wondering if anyone has a link or text to the full change log. Another thread has a member saying it also resolved the wireless charging issue.

Same thing happened to me. I'm using package disabler, what I did was turn on again all the disabled apps, re-start the phone and listo. It should take it now.

I think the dialer looks hideous the way they placed the button there. Long pressing the 1 gets you voicemail so the voicemail button is redundant. Why couldn't they just place the icon where the voicemail icon is the way Sammy does it on the international versions?

Sounds good, mine is rooted with a debloated stock rom.
From what I have been reading, Marshmallow doesnt seem to make a significant difference, now next Android N looks a lot more interesting, worth the change, of course I will upgrade, I always do, but only after I can have it rooted and xPosed working

I don't get your post, I said I have tested that, with TR VPN and LG Brigde doesn't offer me any upgrade.

H955 android marshmallow

Hello, any news for Android 6.0.1 ? Thank you
not at all.
so fare there are few "lg social accounts" that confirm a future update without a date, some blogs are saying that it will be in the summer.
I personally lost my hope on that and I'm just waiting for the S7 Edge next price drop.
Yes,exactly. This move really disappointed me and im looking for HTC One A9/M9,maybe some Nexus. Phone itself is great, but the lack of support not that much.
Ok, i hope Lg release unlock bootloader but it's a dream :/

Anyone else get this update? I'm on sprint. Also, I haven't installed it yet, I presume I need to flash the stock recovery if I choose to take the update
Sent from my 2PQ93 using Tapatalk
Mmmmh htc did not plan to update the A9 now so maybe it's an update late of MM. But still sense 7.0
Sent from my HTC One A9 using XDA-Developers mobile app
The only thing I've noticed is that that amoled saturation controls have been brought back
same here, i'm on sprint. is it ok to flash being deodex?
Not sure. I haven't got too deep into flashing on this phone, as there's not a heck of a lot to flash. Typically no, you would need to be stock odex and stock recovery to take an ota
Sent from my 2PQ93 using Tapatalk
me too , i have this update 2 days ago , only changes i noticed :
* my hand free stopped working with my htc a9 and now its back again
*have new app called ""HTC VIP" , but its not working in my country
@k2buckley yeah, what a shame :/ i guess i'll have to wait and see what's new with this ota. it was a pain in the arse to get all things done yet i have some issues.
I'm getting that annoying notification about the system update. I'm just rooted with twrp. What would be the best way to update?

Have a look in Post TWRP Recovery #2
chapter 8,9 and 10.
NB: Download and save the ota in your sd card (you'll find it in /data/data/com.htc.updater). You could share it for XDA members...
Cheers
was about to ask the question where i could find it, thanks kho
any feedback abt this ota?
Only thing I've noticed is we have an option for the fingerprint scanner to wake the screen and use it as a home button.
it was already there. i think it's just some improvements and bug fixes.

A lot of the articles I've read recently are saying Samsung is sending an update that will prevent charging. I'd proceed with caution if you're trying to hold on to yours. Did you get the 60% battery limit update?
