Yeah I've bought 2 as I wasn't sure which colour I liked best and will send the one I like least lol. I'll post pictures when it arrives if I remember
I used this Luphie frame for one day in my Mi5 but threw it away. It doesn't fit perfect - you can make very little vertical movement. But it is not a big problem. It just doesn't feel comfortable for me. Phone is still very slick and easy to drop.

So today, the long awaited case of mine has arrived... And it is AWESOME, only if the ~0,2 mm vertical movement does not bug your OCD , but I haven't felt any horizontal sliding.
I never had any drop or slipping issues in my hand before the case arrived, and the case adds even more grip, however, the overall width is 74,8 mm ( measured with calipers, to be exact )
It looks, and feels very premium, the buttons are tactile (also, made of metal), and all the ports are easily reachable.
For this price it's a bargain
PS. the cheapest I've found was on Ebay, but the shipping was extremely slow (~1 month)

The case is thick and heavy. I used the similar one on my old G-tablet ever. To be honest, quality pretty good.
I've used the poetic and isvo slim cases before and they are nice, I actually think they are made by the same company.
The Fintie Ultra Slim on Amazon would probably meet your needs.
There's this Orzly Slim Rim tablet case I saw on Amazon. Its got a sleep sensor and also looks quite slim
It only has two stand positions so one less than the other one someone posted on this thread but to be honest, 2 positions are all you really need.

I got the "MoKo Ultra Slim Lightweight " case for my Nexus 9 and its pretty damn nice for the price. It's almost a clone of the Poetic and IVSO.
The drawback though is that it is tough to take it out of the case. With the design being so identical to the Poetic and IVSO cases, its possible that this could be a problem across all 3 brands.
The one major difference for the IVSO case (based on Amazon photos ive seen) is that the cover magnet clasps onto the magnets on the case . The Poetic and Moko cases have cover magnets that clasps on the pre-existing magnets on the Nexus 9.

I got the ISVO and its just like the Moko I have for my Nexus 7. Both have a hard back and tri-fold cover with magnets in the back portion to hold the cover closed. Really protects the corners, and front when closed

I have the Nillkin frosted black. Doesn't really protect the top and the bottom, but works fine for the back and sides. Has a nice feel in hand (it's not rubber, just plastic) and is quite sturdy. It has cutouts for the buttons so they don't extend beyond the edge. This was a big deal for me since I can now use my iPega PG9037 controller without smashing the power button.

fits perfectly.... stays very nice in the hand and overall makes the phone feel way more "classy"... very light, looks like it's gonna protect the phone very good if needed
guess you got a bad piece or something...
Got mine last week, fits like a glove, not troubles on the sides, think you just might have some bad luck having it stuck at shipping or something, ask for a resund wherever you ordered it.
Also i tried like 5 different cable and 2 different usb-micro to usb-c adapters and they al fit the loading port perfect.
paid 2,91 euro for it but feels like a 20 euro case you buy in a normal shop, i recommend it to everyone (also ordered same for iphone for wife and kids, see how they fit later)

I've got an IPAKY one and although it fits snug and looks fantastic (posted pics in a different thread), finding it a little slippery.
That case you ordered looks like a better alternative. Would be keen to get my hands one too!

Bumper case
Has anyone found a good bumper case? I don't want to cover the back with a case cause the light reflection is amazing on this phone.
I got the case free from Vmall. I never used a case for myself so don't really know how it compares to other cases. It's not slippery and I can still see the awesome back. It looks better without case ofcourse. It's not too bulky either.
I would prefer using no case but I think I would regret that later on.
Selection is still poor, I've started looking for cases before I even got the phone. The phone feels too thin to me, even with the case on, the one phone ships with. I guess the other cases might actually improve ergonomics for me on top of protecting the phone from damage without being too bulky.

Didnt receive it yet but im guessing its not hard case, i think is flexible sillicone case.

It's a hard case. Does not have a lip for the screen though.
Looks like probably one of the best cases for the mix 1 is finally available for the mix 2.

That's the case I mentioned when I started the thread, that's the one I was waiting for! Thanks for spreading the news. Do you have a link, I can't seem to find it, lots of original mix case results in search?

Yeah I was in for one as well when I saw it listed. This was the best case for drop protection and not adding a crazy amount of bulk when I had my Mix1.

I really liked the look and size of this case too. I found it on Ebay last night and ordered it. Unfortunately, it takes the slow boat from China as far as delivery goes, so I got a different case on Amazon with prime service to hold me over.
Would any of you share a link to the case you're talking about? If you all have been waiting for it to be available for mi mix 2, I guess it's worth it

Just beware that shipping takes multiple weeks if you are ordering from USA. Phone is relatively rare outside China and there was no option for expedited shipping.
I ordered one of these. I've been looking for the Apple or OnePlus 5 style silicone cases with the microfiber inside. Hopefully this is like that. Hopefully it is also genuine xiaomi.

Where do you see that microfiber is inside? And also, what is the advantage of a silicone case over others?
