Download Links, Changelog & FAQ
The lastest version PhilZ Touch 6.59.x recovery is recommended.
Clean Installation
1. Download the appropriate ROM using links provide in the second post.
2. Download the appropriate GApps following the links in the second post.
3. Back up any and all important data.
5. WIPE DALVIK/CACHE/DATA/FACTORY RESET.
6. WIPE SYSTEM.
7. Flash the ROM in recovery.
7.1. DO NOT FIX PERMISSIONS AFTER FLASHING, doing so will cause a bootloop.
8. Flash the GApps.
9. WIPE DALVIK/CACHE (for good measure).
10. Reboot Device.

Adding a fix for those who are facing Video Recording issue. That is due unsupported libmediaservices.so and libmedia.so.

Thanks! Video recording is working now on 720p but it's a little bit buggy. When I press stop button I need to wait 5-10 sec for the video to be saved. Just to let you know Thanks again.

A: All Android code is based on the Android Open Source Project (AOSP). Under previous releases, we tried very hard to limit the number of "Not from Google directly" repositories that we used. I installed this rom after updating recovery to CWM via Mobile Uncle and now i am not able to mount the sd card on the phone. I tried many apps including the one in the rom but with no luck. Please give me a solution. Its only showing i have 1.48gb internal and sd partition also not working. Please help.
How did you fix the 360p You TubeBug? It has something to do with the vendor/lib files right?

Which Kernel is included? Custom Kernel?
Nah. As we got no proper code from OEM, we'll stick to prebuilt.
Got Root?
CM ships with root, enable developer options and look in Settings -> Developer options -> root access
Browser crashes when downloading?
You need to grant it permission to access storage in Settings -> Apps -> Browser -> Permissions
Gapps crashes?
Use proper gapps, as mentioned in OP.
There's a non-device related bug? - such as SystemUI crashes triggered by doing some damn action, stray settings entries, theme crashes, translation, etc.
I just work for device specific - not something I'll fix.

TeamReloaded presents CandyROM for Redmi 3S. CandyROM is Built straight from source with commits from a variety of different Sources/ROMS. The CandyROM Team wanted to give the users a fun, fully customizable ROM. With aim to add more features as this project progresses. Candy is one of the Smoothest ROM available for Land, in Nougat and Now in Oreo.
Prerequisites :-
Redmi 3S/Prime/3X with Unlocked Bootloader
Latest TWRP or RedWolf TWRP. (If you need TWRP use this one or use RedWolf.)
Download and Store the ROM in Internal (Links in Second Post)
Download latest OpenGapps. (I tested with Pico and its working fine)
Instructions :-
Reboot to Custom Recovery.
Wipe System, Data, Cache/Dalvik
Click Install and Select the Installer ZIP then Swipe to (Start) Install.
Flash Gapps if you want... but do it before first boot otherwise you may face FCs.
