LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit our Gerrit Code Review. Your changelog is whatever was merged into gerrit.
Known Issues / NOT working / "Bugs"
* Search the thread!
* You tell me! (See "Other Issues")
Everything else WORKS, do NOT ask if anything (feature, function, ...) specific is working or not (Search the thread if you want to make sure and if you don't find it: test it yourself)
Other Issues?
Before posting on this thread, make sure of a few things:
You've utilized the search function of the forums. Nothing irritates us more than lazy people who do not search for an answer before asking or ask the same question over and over again.
If you are the only one having a problem: boot into recovery, wipe data/factory reset, reflash the rom/gapps and nothing else. Boot up and see if the problem persists.
LOGS LOGS LOGS!!!! Use this: SysLog by Tortel
If you have a hard reboot (to the vendor boot logo, not the LineageOS boot logo), use adb or any other file explorer tool to pull a copy of "console-ramoops" or "last_kmsg" after the reboot and provide that.
Code:
adb pull /sys/fs/pstore/console-ramoops
Code:
adb pull /proc/last_kmsg
Note: We will not support any kind of modification on the ROM not done by our sources. If you are running XPosed, Kernel Booster or whatever occurs to you, we won't support you in any way. The problem will in every case be treated as the additional softwares' fault (because often it is!)
Google apps addon:
(Note: Not required to run the ROM)
We are using Open GApps (Link) Arm version, others might also be working
Note: In case you want to use any gapps, YOU MUST install the right gapps the first time that you flash a marshmallow ROM. Do not boot with an older gapps or without one and then try to install it later.
Note: If you install a package which replaces the default dialer (mostly "Stock Gapps") you have to go to Settings->Apps->Gear-Icon and set the new dialer as a default telephony app to prevent force closing of apps

Don't install open gapps stock or larger packages. They contain a Google camera that only works on nexus devices. You can install a smaller package and install the normal google camera from the play store and it should work fine.

My tablet doesn't stay connected to wifi in standby, although I set it in the settings.
Charging takes longer than on stock rom!? 20-60% took 4h, now it claims 3h more for 100%. I'm using the original Samsung charger.

Ok.. I uninstalled the stock cam using root uninstaller & download cam app from playstore..
I also noticed that the auto rotate is not working after a while after reboot. Is this a bug? I googled.. Most say it's a bug in CM13..

I can confirm the auto rotate bug.
Looks like the wifi drop is also a CM bug.

The kernel is still based on 3.4.0. Will we ever see nightlies with 3.10 (or newer) for this model?

Switch to Google Now Launcher instead of using Trebuchet and the Autorotate bug is History!
Charging Time is 3H from 1% to 100% on my Galaxy TabPro 10.1lte with standard Wallcharger from Samsung!
Thank you Mr. Palmer for your Work on this fine Rom!

You gave me a brand new device, Thank you.
One day of testing , and I see that I got from this update everything that I expected from Android Marshmallow.
The only problem so far: some display distortion during internal browser window closing animation.
And also vertical ghosting during scroll in CatLog.
Could this be fixed?

Hello Mr. Palmer

In my opinion it will be possible to use cm13 in our device (10.1 wifi) but it will be a question of time because Lte version and tab pro 8.4 uses snapdragon soc otherwise tab pro 10.1 wifi uses exynos soc. So we have to wait for a full "port"

Dear crpalmer,
What about CM13.0 for picassowifi (Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 WiFi SM-T520)? When?

Thanks subscope. I didn't realize the LTE and WiFi had different SOCs. Maybe I should have kept my Tab Pro 8.4?

No problem well this is my opinion:
Tab Pro 10.1 wifi with exynos have a good soc but it is close source (Samsung policy)
Tab Pro 8.4 and 10.1 LTE have snapdragon that it is an universal SOC so it is easiest to get different roms.
I have a 10.1 wifi the only thing that make me hating Samsung is Knox and touchwiz. If we haven't got Knox I already change the rom to cm12.1. Here in Portugal we loose warranty with Knox flag 0x1. I have an S4 and I need to go to warranty but I had Knox flag 0x1 so they reject my phone to repair under warranty. This is why I am tired about Samsung devices. They just don't care about us -_-

Thanks, switching the launcher "fixed" the autorotate bug.
After some testing I found out that the cable was problem. After switching it, the charging speed is back to normal.
Is there a change log for the nightly builds or where can we see if anything was changed/fixed in the builds?
When turning Bluetooth on or off, I get an error message saying "Bluetooth-Freigabe" was terminated.
In english it's maybe called "Bluetooth-sharing".

BT is always a bit finnicky in aftermarket ROM's it seems. I randomly have the same message with BT, even when not turning on/off...
As for change log, http://www.cmxlog.com/13/.

At last! Installed cyan 13.0 as second system in a couple of modded stock. Works great. Critical failures are absent. The camera works, keyboard is not buggy. Installed pico-gapps. Crpalmer, thank you very much!

Success.
The boot.img stuck right away.
Installed latest PA Gapps plus supersu.zip 2.01.
A few minor issues so far-
The CM11 setup was looking for a SIM Card during initial install-
but the castor_windy version doesn't support LTE or WWAN.
Mobile network setup is visible from the settings screen.
(windy_pollux does not show these menus but pollux LTE does)
My play store apps are restoring as I type- so far so good.

I will look on it but i use the same lines as in pollux_windy tree
Tomorow i Release a New version and i will look on it before the release
Installation went great here too. I have the same SIM-issue as the previous poster.
Other than that, it seems to be working perfectly (aside from the known issues). Currently pulling everything in from Play!
Thanks man!
I'm seeing some crazy bettery usage - Android OS eating up 60% of the battery. The charger can't even keep up!
I'm guessing this is related to the SIM card stuff, as the power graph shows "Mobile network signal" in bright red at the top -which is odd, considering this is the wifi model .

That's what testing is for! Take your time - I'd rather things are done well but take time, than done quickly but crappy .
A couple more things working with the ROM-
-weird screen flickering when I connect with a USB cable to a PC
after booting the tablet standalone (it happens with ADB USB debugging on and off)
-I can confirm the battery drain too - same results
-I managed to turn ART runtime on- it rebooted 3-4 times but it did come back eventually
-screen touch bug (maybe after the tablet sleeps?) I set the screen lock to None and still see the bug

Are you sure? Mine rebooted a couple of times, like yours. However, they were soft reboots (not near a computer, so no logs I'm afraid). It eventually did a hard reboot at "Starting apps" and then reset to Dalvik (notice the much faster " Optimizing apps" phase). Check back in settings, but I'm guessing yours set itself back to Dalvik too.
Sorry- I stand corrected.
The ART settings did not stick.
I know it is experimental - but I have been running ART for quite a while
on other Sony devices (amami, pollux, and pollux_windy) with no problems.
The final reboot on castor_windy seems to reset Dalvik after several failed boots.
Castor _windy runs very well other than the touch interface bug. Thanks for working on this ROM and take your time. We look forward to the fix.

INSTRUCTIONS
First time installing CyanogenMod 12.1 to your Redmi Note 3 or coming from another ROM:
Make sure you have unlocked your bootloader
Flash a custom recovery via Fastboot (any other installing methods will do, just make sure you have TWRP recovery installed)
Push GApps (arm64) and the CM 12.1 zip to your device
Boot into Recovery
Perform factory reset
Flash the CM 12.1 zip from SD card
Flash GApps for Lollipop from SD card
Reboot (be patient, "optimizing apps" takes a while)
Don't restore system data using Titanium Backup!
Restoring Apps + Data might cause problems and is not recommended, avoid it if possible!
Upgrading from earlier version of CyanogenMod 12.1 (1st Method):
Push the new CM 12.1 zip to your SD card
Boot into Recovery
Flash the CM 12.1 zip from SD card
Optionally flash the most recent GApps for Lollipop if you encounter problems
Reboot (be patient, "optimizing apps" takes a while)
Upgrading from earlier version of CyanogenMod 12.1 (2nd Method):
Create a folder named cmupdater in your Internal Storage
Go to Settings - About phone - Cyanogenmod Updates
Tap on the zip you just copied to your Internal Storage and click update.
The phone will reboot into recovery and install the update automatically. Then it will reboot again automatically. (be patient, "optimizing apps" takes a while)

When do I have to wipe data?
You must wipe data only when you're switching from another rom or migrating to Snapshot branch from Nightly and vice versa. You don't need to wipe data when you update in the same release channel.
Why no <insert miui feature here>?
Because this is CyanogenMod

Probably not since Android 5.1 doesn't have native support for the hardware and Xiaomi isn't likely going to release the drivers. (I think).
Looks great guys. Quick question i presume this is for the Mediatek and not the Snapdragon variant of the Note 3, i.e. its not for the Note 3 Pro.
Let us know when you release your rom for flashtool and locked bootloader.
I have a build compiled now and I hope you guys who have the Mediatek variant of the Redmi Note 3 can test it for me, but do mind this is only for those who have unlocked the bootloader (for now), and here's the link to it: https://build.redminote2.gq/job/HEN...fact/cm-12.1-20160227-UNOFFICIAL-hennessy.zip

The fix for baseband was provided by a user named pocarropa from a spanish forum where I also have an account. DO NOT report bugs if you've installed xposed and/or other mods
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log

F.A.Q.
I get error 7 while flashing this rom, what does it mean?
Read what the recovery says: "You're running on an unsupported (Kitkat) baseband". In order to flash the lastest CM builds you must have Miui MM baseband and partition layout installed. Visit http://bit.ly/cancroCMBaseband to learn how to update these
ROOT! ROOT! Give me root or i'll die!!! Where root is???
First of all DO NOT flash any SuperSu/SuperUser/SuperMan zip package to get root. Go to Settings>Developement Settings>Root access and select "Apps Only"
Why no nightly today?
Build failed. Check again tomorrow
When do I have to wipe data?
You must wipe data only when you're switching from another rom or migrating to Snapshot branch from Nightly and vice versa. You don't need to wipe data when you update in the same release channe (this applies to 13.0 -> 14.1 upgrades too)
Why no <insert miui feature here>?
Because this is CyanogenMod
Will you add <insert awesome feature here>?
I won't. If you write it, submit a commit to gerrit, where it will be reviewed.
The CyanogenMod team would like to thank everyone involved in helping with testing, coding, debugging & documenting! Enjoy!

Hi, is there any way to see if phone is unlocked? I got phone with custom MIUI 8 from czech developers with pre-installed TWRP, does that mean that phone is unlocked? Thanks I guess it is, because I can manually flash new updates of MIUI 8 through TWRP. Btw. really like this rom!

AFAIK Mi4 models are not bootloader locked from factory. BUT if you already have TWRP installed then it is definitely unlocked.
Okay, thank you so much i thought the same but I wanted to be sure and how is it with going back to MIUI? Can I just flash MIUI in TWRP to go back?

I know, I was using CM on my Zenfone 5 and S3 mini, it's awesome, but I kinda like MIUI, our czech version of MIUI is debloated and without annoying apps and a lot faster, and also im asking because there can be some breaking bug so I will have to go back to the MIUI.

you can flash official firmware without TWRP or you can head to the Xiaomi.eu and flash the zip from twrp.
And, I'd prefer CM with 7.1 on my Mi4 but since Qualcomm not releasing the vulcan files for our SoC, not sure how it will affect it :/ damn you Qualcomm.
Things are working great! Except for the slow charging. *Edit* After flashing ZheurionX Kernel and Feralab script mod. Charging problem is gone and no problem with battery backup either. Now this rom is my daily driver.

About LD
Years after the death of LiquidSmooth, Sean Hoyt, (the LiquidSmooth lead dev) has returned to the ROM game, along with the Exynos5420 team, to bring greatness to our beloved Exynos5420 tablets (and note 3), out of the ashes of the fallen LiquidSmooth ROM. LiquidDeathOS is super optimized for the Exynos5420.
In fact right now it is so optimized that it won't even boot on non-exynos devices
LDO is AOSP based , and is only for Exynos devices
(it's even more optimized than lineage).
Important info
I don't support Xposed and any logcat which includes a Xposed module will be ignored. You're kindly invited to not report bugs if you:
Flashed a custom kernel
Installed or did mods from untrusted sources
Modified system files
What works:
Display/Brightness
Touchscreen
Audio
Wifi
Buttons/Lights
SDCard
USB Storage
GPS
Bluetooth

Couldn't. Haven't one. Sorry
Thanks, can't wait to try this out...
I've been testing it out and the biggest issue I've had with all 14.1 builds, the video zoom-in Netflix and similar apps, is resolved. Excellent work.
MHL adapters work on this build, but video-only, the audio is via built-in speakers (which seem much louder on this build).
One thing I'm missing (or can't seem to find) are home buttons settings. I can change the double press/long press behaviour, but I can't get the home button to wake the tablet from sleep.

Yep, we don't include a mail app because people generally replace it anyway, and we didn't want to bloat up the ROM

Is anyone able to wake the tablet up by Home hardware key?
Great OS! Fast and great features. Better than Lineage OS! Kudos and thanks to developers!
:good:
This is a fantastic ROM, best one we've had for our tablet. Been playing around with it for about 12 hours, and pretty much everything works, including the camera, which didn't work for me even in the official Lineage 14.1. I am using Nova and it is really smooth, no stuttering or lag at all. All videos seem to load properly, WiFi connects quickly. I saw some people saying the home button didn't wake the tablet, I'll have to check this, as I have a magnet case and it turns on every time I open the case. I just want to thank the developers for keeping our tablets relevant, thanks so much for a fantastic ROM...
---------- Post added at 04:34 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:28 PM ----------
Just checked it out, you are correct the home button doesn't work. I missed this because of my magnet case.
So tested now for some hours and its a great experience! Fastest ROM I did ever had on the n2awifi.
Teated Amazon Prime Video, Mkcrosoft Office Apps, Spotify, MxPlayer, AndStream and some games and everything is working fine and very smooth.
Just some little things I have noticed:
- The home key does not wake up the tablet
- Did not find the settings for the battery icon and where to show the battery percentage next to the icon
- Did not find the settings to change or remove applications when tablet is locked
- Search bar on main screen is "useless"
- No Exchange-Account settings? Maybe due to missing mail app?
HDMI video output is working without sound. In latest CM12.1 we could change the audio output via AudioFX app and it did work. Have done a log with MatLog when connecting to adapter and tried to play a movie from amazon prime. Maybe you could find anything?
Thx for great work!

Screenshots
Coming soon
What works
- Display and touchscreen
- Audio (speaker, microphone)
- Camera (front and back, photos only) and flashlight
- WiFi and Bluetooth
- Sensors
- SMS and MMS
What doesn't work
- Video recording
- In-call audio and mic
- Mobile data
Installation
IMPORTANT! This ROM is NOT suitable for daily usage, mainly due to RIL issues (see What doesn't work above and Known bugs below) and various performance issues (although this can be somewhat fixed by using GAPPS alternatives or not using GAPPS at all).
- Get the TWRP recovery from this thread (NOTE: Due to existing bugs with the currently available recovery and ROM you might want to use the old recovery instead)
- Get the latest build HERE
- Wipe data
- Flash the ROM zip file
- OPTIONAL: If you absolutely HAVE to, flash GAPPS (before first boot!). See the note below for more information.
Known bugs
- Google Play Store gets stuck on "Waiting for download". See GAPPS note below for workarounds.
- The device might refuse to boot up and crash upon USB insertion if the battery is below 10%. If this happens, boot into the old TWRP recovery (2.8) and recharge your device there to about 15%.
- Audio and mic in calls don't work.
- Mobile data doesn't work.
- Icons appear low-res (might be due to device being set as hdpi, will likely be fixed in the next release)
- Camera app might occasionally say "Could not connect to camera" (although I've seen this happen on other devices with newer LineageOS, so this might just be a LineageOS problem)
GAPPS
Flash it at your own risk, as it might slow down the device. If you already decide to flash it, use the pico package (although I've tested with nano and a few stock apps and it seemed to run somewhat fine, but keep in mind this was without any other apps). You can also look into alternatives:
- MicroG as a replacement for Google Play Services
- F-Droid as an alternative marketplace
- Aurora Store as a frontend for Google Play Store (you can get it from F-Droid), although it breaks Google's TOS - use at your own risk.
Of course, support will be provided for GAPPS users, just keep in mind that due to general limitations not everything can be done.

ignore.zip was an old build sent to one person per request before the proper XDA release. I think the only difference is that ignore.zip doesn't have low ram optimizations enabled and the default DPI is lower (190 vs 200).
It will be removed soon as it serves no purpose.

I haven't tested it as I don't have a dual sim-capable model, but it seems to be disabled by default. It might be possible to make a patch to make it work with dual sim, but even then you wouldn't get much out of it since calls and mobile data are broken. I'll look into it once I get those fixed.
Thank you
Someone is still working on this device, thank you! I'll be looking for your updates, especially LineageOS 16.

Hi, this is a thread for a ROM for the Galaxy Grand Neo (GT-I9060). The GT-I9060I is a different device (the only reason I posted this ROM in the Grand Neo Plus subforum is because there's no separate GT-I9060 one).
You should ask in the appropriate thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...-lineageos-14-1-samsung-galaxy-grand-t3817197
(btw, seems like offline charging doesn't work on that ROM, see the known issues section in that thread)

Hello, its me with another account. Its fixed already. Im just restarting the phone and it works! And installing Gapps Pico (nano is making the phone laggy) and it still work. (Model : GT-I9060/DS)
Please build a stable lollipop or latest rom for Gti9060/ds baffinlite.
I installed this rom recently on my gti9060/ds. I feel smoother experience, but the issue ( phone reboots and stuck on samsung logo and notification panel bug ) ; Please fix
Request : how can i make a rom for this device?
Note : There is lot of users use this device still now. So make a pie or latest android stable roms for it. :good:
Hopefully,
Unfortunately my Grand Neo's battery died, and I haven't been able to order one yet, but I've made a new build which might fix the RIL issues:
https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=12420606652095400171
Could somebody test it out and say if calls/mobile data works?
(If you have a dual-sim device and it doesn't work at all, try https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=8889791610682874425 (note that this will not enable dual-sim functionality).)
EDIT: I have a new battery, and the builds above do not fix mobile data or calls.

Call audio and data is still not working of new build
