Here is the D838 20A/20D Pure Stock Rom not Root,but you can root it,with Superuser File in Attach Files.
Included Recovery in Chinese Language but you can install the Recovery apk in the Attach Files and the Recovery have English Language.
Install with Aroma Installer
Instruction to Install:
You better be coming from 20D or 20D to install previously the KDZ before reflashing the Rom,otherwise it can lead to problems with the boot img (Wifi not works)
After Flash the 20D KDZ root your GP2 and install Custom Recovery to Flash this Rom
It also works from 20a to 20d, or vice versa

I'm not sure if you can install it from kitkat.
I install the Lollipop Kdz,root and install the LP Recovery.
Install the Rom here and flash Supersu after install this Rom,works fine.
I test this later from Kitkat.

Ok,i install the Kitkat KDZ root with Stumproot and install Recovery apk.
Reboot in Recovery make a Factory Reset and install D83820D and Supersu zip.
Reboot and it works.
I hope i can help you with this.

U first have to flash xposedhelper.zip then u have to flash xposed.zip from official page， then u install app xposed， then reboot and use xposed. Notice that all modules dont work with lolipop U can find my thread about how to install xposed on our 838 and f350

I am confused- which recovery to use (to be on english, with backup / recovery if possibile)

Ok,my D838 has Original 20a Version from CWT Telecom.Has many Bloatware on it.
I flash the 20d Taiwan without Bloatware and works fine.
Install the Recovery apk from first Post in Attachment.
Reboot in Recovery,make a Factory Reset and install the Rom what you want,20a or d.
After flashing the Rom,install the Supersu zip in Recovery (Download on Attachment in Op)and Reboot.
Set your settings and than install the Recovery apk again,Recovery has English Language.(Original has this Rom Chinese Language Reeovery)

this recovery not works . I install it but when say reboot recovery, phone sticks on lg logo. I need other recovery for 1. installation

I think this works only from Stock LP or KK.Not from Drake Series etc...

Works on the Indian D838 model!
I have the D838 16G for India. Flashed this 20D TWN zip last night and I find that it works wonderfully. I was previously running the stock 4.4 ROM that came with the phone (10f version) rooted with Towelroot. I followed these steps in case someone with the Indian phone is wondering:
1. Copy the ROM zip, SuperSU zip and Recovery APK into your phone's internal storage.
2. Assuming your phone is already rooted, install the Recovery APK from a file manager.
3. Open the installed app, and flash recovery. Reboot into recovery from inside the app.
4. Once the phone reboots into recovery, do Factory Reset. I did "Clean for installing new ROM" too but that's optional, I guess.
5. Flash the ROM zip. This automatically opens the Aroma Installer and does its job.
6. Flash the SuperSU zip.
7. Reboot and enjoy Lollipop!
The phone may seem stuck at the LG Logo for a while, but give it about 2-3 minutes; it works.
I've been setting up the phone and apps, and everything works buttery smooth. Knock code works even better on Lollipop. Wifi, Bluetooth and 3G work flawlessly. Battery Life seems be worse, but I'll report back after using the ROM for a few days (after letting the ROM settle down and a calibration maybe) I usually get ~5 hours of screen on time on KK, but on LP I'm already at 37% with screen on time of 2 hours.

Note 4 N910C 5.1.1 Root​
This Package roots you Note 4 with 5.1.1 rom. To use this root make sure you have 5.0.1 Bootloader installed or you will have bootloop! This package Removes Knox and Installs SuperSu,Busybox,5.0.1 Modem and Modded googymax n4 kernel.
Note: this package installs 5.0.1 modem for N910C so dont use it on any other modells!! only for devs at the moment because instable!!
How to use:
1: Download the flashable zip
2: Load it on your phone

ok. I think we will se the infamous HOW DO WE MAKE THIS WORK THINGY type of question will arrive... so i make this guide...
1. Download and Flash the said modified Googy kernel via cwm or twrp and then reboot to download mode.
2. Download old 5.01 bootloader and flash it via odin in the BL section.

3. odin will auto restrat your device. if you see the blank screen after samsung logo. just pull out your batt and start your device again.

See page 77 of the Lineage OS. There is a tutorial for AL series.

Just a workaround to fix reboot to erecovery ( now the device will reboot to system, instead erecovery )
Please take a look here to backup erecovery and to flash boot.img over erecovery partition .

Amazing work man, still waiting for the reboot issue to be fixed before I'm going to use this as a daily driver.

Usually, stock apps are not only apps and depend on stock frameworks for which sources are not opened. So my guess is it may not be possible...

I was just wondering if there are any plans to have this rom on the Huawei Mate 8?
Both the Mate 8 and the Honor 8 utilise the same Cpu...
Since official stable versions of Nougat haven't been pushed to the Mate 8, I think many Mate 8 users would be extremely pleased to use this Rom!

Replacing boot.img with erecovery
So, I flashed this rom today and decided to try to replace erecovery with boot.img and while testing RR I noticed a app I need is not working so I decided I would go back to emui 5 but when I normally go back (ive done this a few times. ) I flash the update.zip and go to erecovery to download from wifi if it goes into a bootloop (which is happens a lot) and that fixes it. But since I replaces erecovery I don't have it anymore as the option. My question is if I flash update.zip will it replace boot.img with recovery2.img like it replaces twrp with recovery or do I need to flash erecovery back with a shell command? (and what would that command be?)

U have to reflash erecovery2 to flash update.app .
U cannot flash update.zip of NOUGAT with stock recovery as itself has update.app in it and also a zip with additional files to be flashed in /data/ .
So flash erecovery 2 , downgrade to MM and then update to Nougat .:fingers-crossed:

ok i want to mention somethings:
1: i flashed December Update in my phone and wait for OEM Unlock it comes after exect 168h. so the result is we can get oem unlock without having updated software in phone.
2: During this 168h i changed my sim 5 to 6 times as well . so the result is we can change sims during 168h .
3: Rmm fix zip by @BlackMesa123 is not working for A8 plus.
4: 2nd version of kernal for A8 plus by @BlackMesa123 is not working . phone stuck at boot.
5: 1st version of kernal for A8 plus by @BlackMesa123 is working fine.
6: [ROM][Nougat] Stock Elite A730X By Oves786, workin very good and i m using xposed as well.

I am waiting 168 hours again, I flashed the kernel and the phone was stuck in the logo for hours. What version of Xposed works in our model phone? Thanks in advance

do not use 2nd version of kernal for A8 plus by @BlackMesa123
use the 1st version of kernal
if you want to xposed then you have to install [ROM][Nougat] Stock Elite A730X By Oves786. Stock rom can not be xposed.
after installing rom, install kernal 1st version then intall below zip file of xposed.

thanks for answer, I only have to wait 2 days more for installing the rom. Summarizing , first is TWRP, then flash rmm fix , flash Oves786rom, then flash magisk and finally xposed , reboot and do not power off for 7 days again ?:laugh:

make sure you have a sdcard installed so when reformat it delete all on your internal sdcard no mtp working.

1: twrp
1b: format internal memory
2: bakcup first in sd card
3: install Oves786rom (it has magisk included)
4: 1st version of kernal (important must instal kernal rmm fix not working in A8 plus so instal kernal)
5: instal no-verity-no-encrypt_ashyx
6: boot to system (see evrery thing working fine )
7: then go to twrp and instal xposed

After RMM fix can I enter in TWRP recovery whenever I want without wait 7 days ?

You have flash the custom kernel
You need read how to do this or you get locked out again.

Let me share my success and at the same time my stupidity that let me get rmm locked out again.
Managed to wait patiently to get the OEM bootloader unlock option in the developers menu..was great..managed to installed TWRP was an fantastic view to see TWRP boot up...installed the RMM remover/bypass by Mesa v2....feeling great by now, so far so good right?
Downloaded the A8 plus elite rom...started installation with no problem and successfully finished (by now I'm smiling and doing this happy lil dance in my head)
Restated my phone...no problems was amazing...and smooth and fast!!
(I TOTALLY FORGOT THAT AT THIS POINT THE RMM BYPASS WAS ACTIVE AGAIN, BUT I STILL GOT THE MOD ROM INSTALLED AND ROOT ACCESS)
Now here is the stupid and painful part ;
Opened "Magisk" there was an update pop-up (ok no problem right?) I let the app update...little did I know was that it needed to install some fines via TWRP when asked to reboot...
Restarted my phone and got this painful message on the galaxy logo in RED stating that only offisial binary are allowed to be flashed... GOT THIS BOOT LOOP....only way out is to install an stock firmware....now to wait 7 days again....:crying:

Yes, you can install it with pc using any supported tool but fastboot is not possible.
There hasn't been a way to unlock the bootloader. The only way we can enjoy any tweak is what we have achieved, that is root and customize recovery.

Currently I have been able to patch the stock rom which can be flash through customize recovery like Twrp and the rest in locked bootloader state. But no hope yet for gsi or custom rom.

Yes, is possible but first backup your current firmware before trying any thing.
I have created stock rom in zip format which can be flashed with Twrp, PitchBlack and Orangefox recoveries in locked bootloader state. But custom rom can't boot.

Becoz opening panel is giving issue and fear of bricks
