Hi guys. I've had my mate 7 for less than a week and I've damaged it already. At home I don't use a case never have done. I out it on charge and I think the kids got there hands on it. It's got a inch deep scratch across it now thats took the paint off so I'm wondering if anyone has changed the rear? If so any instructions. I've noticed the rear housing is pretty cheap around $22 for genuine its just noing how to fit . any help would be much appreciated.

I am not sure about instructions but they usually pop off with a finger nail between the front and back. I usually just order in the new piece and look at it usually shows how it is attached.

The device shows a better P8 with new Kirin 955 Processor and Dualcamera. But get the standard version more popularity than the P8 with same 3GB RAM?
In general the premium and plus variant gets more visible for more of us.
Another part is NFC: While leaks say yes, official Specs says no.
Please give our oppinion for that device. Is it worth to buy or not?

I just got another honor 8 (blue sapphire). I originally also had a midnight black that I got few weeks ago. The fingerprint sensors look different in both phones. The black one has a matte finish and the blue sapphire has a glossy finish. I don't remember having a plastic cover on my black one when I unboxed it, do you guys remember or noticed if there was a cover on the blue sapphire one? It still reads the fingerprint but it looks different.

Patience is a virtue.
I don't know if I would be able to capture the difference between two fingerprint scanners with a picture. But, I can definitely tell that one has a matte finish and the other one(blue sapphire) has a glossy finish. That is why I was confused whether there was a plastic cover on it or not. Both fingerprint scanners perform similar. I bought both phones phones from B&H photo in US. I registered both phones on honor's website for the 3 month accidental warranty. They both registered fine, so I don't think they are fake.

Hi guys how does the mate 9 compare to the P10 PLUS? Which is a better buy and why?
I guess go with either one that is cheaper in your region, specs are almost the same, though I prefer how mate 9 looks...
The P10 Plus has a 5.5" display, the Mate 9 has 5.9". Everything else is practically the same (Kirin 960, Mali G71, etc) so the Mate 9 screen alone wins it for me.

P10+ has 6gb of Ram (which I find unnecessary), Mate 9 has much better battery (plus it doesn't have that physical home button, which is a plus in my book)

The Mate 9 also comes with an option for 6GB of RAM, which is quite nice and future-proof. Especially if it's LPDDR4

It is Chinese model, but you can flash international firmware.
I've had my Mate 9 with 6GB/128GB for a few months now
One of the best phones I've ever used.
I do wish the camera was slightly better, but I think the P10/Plus is like the 4.7" iPhone 7. It's for people who want the easy slip in pants. It's for the sophisticated, per say
It might have the newer EMUI, it might have a slightly better camera. It's not here in the states to check out, but you have essentially the same hardware. If you can "tolerate" the larger mate 9 go for it. I love bigger screens and bigger batteries.

In the country of my residence you can buy Honor 8 32GB with 2 years of warranty(works in any country of the middle east and Africa), and without accidental damage(screen broken/battery damage/earphone/charger damaged) for SAR1400.
But you can buy OnePlus 3T for SAR1350 with even the accidental damage warranty. But the warranty will only work in Saudi Arabia, UAE and Bahrain
So one plus is cheaper and also better (except the design and camera) than Honor 8 here :fingers-crossed:
