Follow this Steps to Root Micromax Canvas 4 - A210 :
Step:- 1) Enable USB debugging on your device. | Go to Settings > Development > USB debugging.
Dont find Developer Option Menu ? : Go to Settings > About Phone > Scroll till you find Build number. > Start tapping on it
with your finger 7 Times or Keep on tapping it until you see "You are now a developer".
Go back into Settings and you’ll now see the Developer Options.
Step:- 2) Connect your device to PC/laptop. The drivers will be installed automatically.
Step:-3) Download Rooting tools Mirror ( Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry_v31 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1886460) and unzip them in a folder.
Step:-4) Open the extracted folder and Click RunMe.bat.
Step:-5) Follow the onscreen instructions carefully. To start off, You will see Please Enter a valid number (1 to x), you will need to type in a “1″ and press Enter.
Step:-6) Your device will reboot during the process after which you can find SuperSu in you app drawer. Congrats! Now you have a rooted Micromax canvas 4 A210.
To Un-Root : Follow Step 1-4 and on Step 5 You will see Please Enter a valid number (1 to x), you will need to type in a “x″ and press
Enter.
Follow the instructions that appear on the command prompt after that.

This worked on devices that I had tried, If the instructions are followed as mentioned above. motochopper and Bin4ry are similar rooting process !!. Both methods work, but I have not tried motochopper myself for canvas 4 :angel:

Exploit in MTK device is successful with this tool. So it should work.
You can also try Framaroot
its easy too, but may have to try a couple of times.

Method 1: By flashing through stock recovery.

While flashing CM 13 over my Redmi 1s, i happen to brick my phone and also lost IMEI and other details. Now only if i install stock rom of 56, i get back WIFI alone, still IMEI is gone. So sim cards not working.
Does installing the above stock ROMs, helps in this regards? (gaining back IMEI) or is there any other methods?
P.S: Tried almost all methods list on XDA, miui forums. No luck so far

Hello guys Today I am gonna tell you HOW TO ROOT Micromax Canvas L A108 WITHOUT COMPUTER...
NOW LET's get started.
You need:
1. KingRoot Apk ( Download Latest version from here -> Kingroot.apk )
2. Mmx A108
>>>Now follow the steps to ROOT
Step 1: Download and Install KingRoot.
Step 2: Open KingRoot
Step 3: Enable internet and tap the green circle. (Important)
Step 4: Tap the ROOT button.
Step 5. Now restart your phone.
CONGO !!! Your phone is rooted Now.
>>>Now follow to uninstall useless pre-installed apps
Step 6: After restart open Kinguser and go to tab KingTool.
Step 7: Open Uninstall Tool
Step 8: Select apps which you want to uninstall.
Note: You have to uninstall opera mini and hike to install/
update them from play store.
Step 9: Tap Uninstall to uninstall all selected apps
Step 10: Go to Personal tab and uninstall KingRoot .
[Note: Don't uninstall KingRoot if you haven't followed step
5. Uninstall kingroot after phone restart.]
