Hi ... I get code error 5054 too on sp flash tool. Can you help ?

can you tel me which vriants give 5054 error?

---------- Post added at 08:22 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:20 PM ----------
I made some research the code error 5054 means: The files you're trying to flash do not belong to or are not compatible with the phone you're trying to flash them to**
Solution they give..:*** Ensure you're using the correct files. If you're sure they are, then try formatting before flashing again
Does this mean that my variant is not compatible with yours ?

@Mohamed Yaser you might give the wrong file. Instead, I flashed the pgfs files from Gibz97 thread and it worked fine. Then I continue with flashing twrp through fastboot command.

The problem persists for me.

1. Download pgfs from Gibz97 thread.
2. Put it in the folder containing the lollipop ROM. (backup original pgfs is optional)
3. Open flashtool, as in the OP, load scatter-loading in lollipop rom folder (not in folder RootIT)
4. Follow steps in OP, except do not tick recovery.
5. Proceed until step 7, then reboot into bootloader using adb (as the pic in OP)
6. Then boot into download mode. (It is weird as download mode is considered as fastboot in adb, not the bootloader )
7. Flash twrp using command fastboot flash recovery twrp.img .
8. Boot into recovery, then flash SuperSU.
You're done! I hope it help you

No, you do not need to. Just unlocked pgfs1 and pgfs2. If you flash whole firmware, then it will wipe data.

[ROOT/GUIDE] Zest T1-G46

Hi guys
This is my first attempt at guides. I recently purchased a Zest T1. and because it's a new device, it does not have proper root packages. So here is a guide for those with that device. This is a simple process.
==========================================
Disclaimer:
Although the methods used have worked for me, you will perform this at your own risk. I (or any affiliates) will not be held responsible for any damage and/or data loss incurred by this process.
===========================================
You will need the following:
* Your phone MUST be repartitioned with 20140714_e2101v82_zest (the method that Zest Mobile gave to repart the device)
* Your device cannot be encrypted. MTKDroidTools cannot read the system if your files are encrypted. If your device has been encrypted, remove the encryption to root. You can add it later.
* MtkDroidTools v2.5.3
* ADB (though MTK does have it packaged)
* SuperSU zip install (Found on chainfire's website) - on phone memory
The Process:
[If you have used debugging mode before, then you are ready to go, otherwise, please enable debugging mode in Developer Options]
1) Plug your phone in, make sure that your device is recognised
2) Open Command Prompt
3) Type in the following (this is environment dependant, but to be sure, navigate to where ADB is installed):
adb root
Click to collapse
This will restart ADB in root shell mode
4) Open MTKDroid Tools. It should recognise your device in root shell mode (green box in bottom right, if not, then repeat step 3)
5) Click on the tab 'root, backup, recovery' and select 'to use boot from phone' then click on 'recovery and boot' and shortly after a dialogue box will appear asking if you want to 'make cwm recovery automatically' click yes
6) reboot your phone in recovery (via MTKDroid tools or if you are prompted to via above step)
7) You will now be in CWM. Choose 'install zip from sdcard', and select the storage that you downloaded the file to (most commonly 'choose zip from internal sdcard, downloads)
8) Install the zip and reboot.
This is a very high-level overview. If you need more clarification on anything, let me know.

This process is to install CWM in order to flash SuperSU.
Place the SuperSU zip on your phone memory (or SD card, whatever works for you). If you have run steps 4-6, then reboot in recovery (either via MTKDroid tools, or adb reboot-recovery). If you have not run steps 4-6, start there.

CWM, or ClockWorkMod is the recovery part (amoung others) of your Android Device. This is where you "flash" zips to your phone. In step 5, you actually install this to your phone.
5) Click on the tab 'root, backup, recovery' and select 'to use boot from phone' then click on 'recovery and boot' and shortly after a dialogue box will appear asking if you want to 'make cwm recovery automatically' click yes

If you don't follow this step, the stock recovery won't be able to flash your device. Also, have you repartitioned your phone (with the Zest approved method)?

INSTALLING PROPER FASTBOOT AND ADB DRIVERS
There are a lot ways to install drivers and a lot different drivers are available too, but, the ones that have always worked for me,are from PdaNet.So,here I recommend using these.
Step 1 :- Download PdaNet from here :- http://pdanet.co/bin/PdaNetA4181.exe
Step 2 :- Install them and follow the installation steps properly (Especially when to connect the phone. HINT :- Phone should not be connected in the beginning and has to be connected only when asked for. There might be a notification in your phone to allow Debugging access to your computer, accept it.)
Step 3 :- After the installation has finished, download Android Slim SDK from here :- http://fs1.d-h.st/download/00081/08w/AndroidSDKSlim.zip and extract them on the desktop. (Keep the phone connected to the PC during all this.)
Step 4 :- Open the extracted SDK folder on the desktop and open the platform-tools folder inside it.
Step 5 :- Inside the platform-tools folder, press Shift Key + Right Click and select “Open Command Window here”
Step 6 :- A command window will open.In the command window,enter the command :-
Code:
adb devices
If it shows your device, woohooo !!! Your drivers have installed !! If it doesn't,try uninstalling all earlier present USB Drivers from your PC and then again install PDANet . If that too doesn't work, tag me in the thread and I will try to help you to my best .. !!
UNLOCKING THE BOOTLOADER
Step 1 :- Make sure you have proper ADB and Fastboot Drivers installed and working.See Part 1 for details.
Step 2 :- Go to Settings -> About Phone of your device and tap on Build Number 7 times to unlock the Developer Options .
Step 3 :- Go to Settings -> Developer Options and turn on ADB Debugging .
Step 4 :- Connect the phone to PC.
Step 5 :- On your PC, inside the platform-tools folder (See Part 1),press Shift Key + Right Click and select “Open Command Window here”
Step 6 :- In the command window, enter the command :-
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
The phone should boot into the fastboot mode.
Step 7 :- In the command window, enter the command :-
Code:
fastboot -i 0x2A96 oem unlock
Step 8 :- It should show you a prompt to press volume up button on your device.Press the volume up button.
It should unlock your bootloader.
Step 9 :- In the command window, enter the command :-
Code:
fastboot -i 0x2A96 reboot
The phone will reboot and will do some processing and will finally boot up.
Woohooo You have unlocked the bootloader….Now you are open to rooting, flashing ROMs etc. !!!
FLASHING A CUSTOM RECOVERY (TWRP) VIA FASTBOOT
Step 1 :- Make sure you have proper fastboot and adb drivers installed (Part1) and bootloader unlocked (Part 2).
Step 2 :- Download TWRP Recovery from here :- https://s.basketbuild.com/devs/vishal_android_freak/yu/yuphoria/ and put it in the platform-tools folder on the Desktop (Part 1).Rename the Recovery file to recovery .
Step 3 :- On you device,in Settings -> About Device, tap on build number 7 times to unlock the Developer Options.
Step 4 :- In Settings -> Developer Options, turn on ADB Debugging and turn off Update Cyanogen Recovey.
Step 5 :- Connect your phone to PC.
Step 6 :- On your PC, inside the platform-tools folder, press Shift Key + Right Click and select “Open Command Window here”
Step 7 :- In the command window, enter the command :-
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
The phone should boot into the fastboot mode.
Step 8 :- In the command window, enter the command :-
Code:
fastboot -i 0x2A9 flash recovery recovery.img
It should flash recovery on your device.
Step 9 :- Remove the device from PC and remove the battery and put it again and power on the phone….
Woohoo …Now you have TWRP Flashed !!!
ROOTING STOCK OR ANY OTHER ROM
Step 0 :- Make sure that you have unlocked the bootloader and have flashed TWRP on your device.
Step 1 :- Download SuperSU from here :- http://download.chainfire.eu/696/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip and place it in your phone.
Step 2 :- Power off the device.
Step 3 :- Boot into TWRP Recovery by pressing Power + Volume Down button.
Step 4 :- Click on "Install" button.
Step 5 :- Find the downloaded SuperSU file and select it.
Step 6 :- Swipe to flash.
Step 7 :- Reboot System.
Woohooo You have successfully rooted your phone.
MAKING EFS BACKUP
METHOD 1 :-
Step 1 :- Download Partitions Backup And Restore App from here :- https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ma.wanam.partitions
Step 2 :- Open the app and in the App Settings, select backup output to .img
Step 3 :- From the list of partitions in the app, select modemst1 and modemst2 and backup those by clicking on the download like button at the bottom right .
Step 4 :- The EFS Partitions (modemst1.img and modemst2.img) will be backed up to the Internal Storage or External SD Card (as per your preference)
Step 5 :- Save these 2 files to Cloud Storage and as many places as possible as these are very important partitions.
METHOD 2 :-
Go to TWRP -> Advanced -> Terminal and type the following command :- (You must have an SD Card in the phone. If you don't have external SD Card, replace sdcard1 with sdcard0)
Code:
dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p12 of=/sdcard1/modemst1.bin bs=512
Press Enter
Code:
dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p13 of=/sdcard1/modemst2.bin bs=512
Press Enter
Go to the File Manager and save modemst1.bin and modemst2.bin to as many places as possible.
MAKING NANDROID BACKUP
Step 1 :- Go to TWRP.
Step 2 :- Click on Backup.
Step 3 :- Select all options except Cache.
Step 4 :- Swipe to Backup.
A backup of around 3-4 GB will be created in the TWRP folder in Internal or External storage (as per your preference). It is recommended to save the Nandroid of Stock ROM in other places too…You MUST take a Nandroid Backup before flashing anything so that you remain safe most of the times. You can delete the Nandroid after ensuring that what you flashed didn’t cause any issue.BUT You must keep atleast one Nandroid always with you (Preferably of Stock ROM).

Thanks. I will follow your guide to install twrp custom recovery. Step 9 says to remove the battery. My battery is not removeable. Is step 9 required for my z ultra? If am successful with installing twrp, I will want to install a stable build of Cyanogenmod which I believe is 10.1

You're saying you have flashed SuperSu, this means that your /system partition is modified, so you will not be able to successfully install OTA's.
However, yes, you can take a Nandroid Backup by booting TWRP and restore it whenever your want using TWRP.

6. Download and install FlashTool from its official website.
7. Install the drivers for fastmode and for your device in the driver folder of the FlashTool. [C:>FLASHTOOL>drivers]
8. Download ftf for your device using XpiriFirm and flash it using flashtool.

An unlocked bootloader is needed to install a custom recovery.
This process will provide your device a custom recovery (TWRP) This can be used to flash root script, ROM and custom kernels at anytime without PC.
1. Download the TWRP image file.
2. Paste it in your Fastboot directory and rename it as recovery.img

[root] ulefone armor 2 - easy rooting procedure [SUPERSU]

Hello mates! What a heck of a problem rooting this fancy brick, right? Not anymore ! The guides available in here are very confusing and lack of simple information. I'm just trying to help.
Special thanks goes to sumec100 who made me into the first steps of this process.
Rooting the Brick
*What will you need in a first moment:
- SDK MANAGER AND PLATAFORM TOOLS ONLY https://developer.android.com/studio/index.html#downloads *end of the page, 132mb archive* (Plataform-tools is attached in case you can't find it)
- SuperSU: https://mega.nz/#!t2wGDbhL!H07JxlbmLH2tFQD7Frx2BKlJp0AyDthXkbEj6sw4z08 (this one worked out) (Leave it in your SD Card before start the process)
- TWRP ported by Jemmini from 4pda and translated to English by TuksOID. : https://drive.google.com/open?id=1Uwkl_2vqHfXkbLGmF-gKbs63UxVKmw_T
- ADB Driver Installer: http://adbdriver.com/downloads/
- ARMOR 2 Latest Drivers: https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B8NC4kBpjQhYdDNhdzdUdTRsRFE&usp=sharing
0) Go into your Ulefone Armor 2.
Settings >About phone > Tap ''build number'' 8 times until you see ''now you are a developer''.
Developer options> OEM unlocking (yes) >USB Debugging (Yes)
After all drivers are installed in Driver_Auto_Installer you downloaded from ulefone.com keep ADB Driver Installer open and plug in your phone on your PC. It will auto detects your MediaTek device. Just click ''Install'' wait until it finishes and close it. Now you are properly connected to your phone.
1) Open ''cmd.exe'' as an administrator.
Type: cd (path you unziped plataform-tools inside SDK tools folder) kind of looking like this: ''X:YOUR PATH\tools\platform-tools''
Put the recovery image you downloaded (I suggest you to rename it as ''recovery'') in ''plataform-tools''
2) Back to the cmd in the way you leaved it do it:
adb reboot bootloader Press Enter. The phone will reboot in fastboot mode. (I suppose you did not shut it down, please don't)
fastboot flashing unlock Press Enter. The phone will prompt you. Read the content of the text if you want. To keep going press ''Volume Up'' DO NOT INTERRUPT THIS PROCESS
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img Press Enter. Now the TWRP will be flashed. Note that I used ''recovery'' as file name.
After the successful flash:
fastboot boot recovery.img Press Enter. TWRP will now start.
3) Unplug your phone.
Your TWRP will show a ''Enter Code'' prompt since your device stills encrypted. Press ''Cancel''
Drag the bar to allow modifications;
Press ''Wipe'' in the main menu;
Drag the bar to do a Factory Reset (THIS IS NOT OPTIONAL);
Press ''Install'';
Select the SuperSU file you downloaded in the above. (I hope you copied it in your SDCard. If you did not, You can plug your phone in your PC, mount your Storage via TWRP, copy the zip file and keep going);
Drag the bar to flash SuperSU zip file (DO NOT select any parameters)
Press ''Wipe Dalvik/Cache''
Press ''Reboot System''
Wait for it.
If you had a successful boot, now your device is rooted. Cheers !
Did your device don't boot in 15 minutes? I'm quite sure you messed up but keep calm, don't panic!
Unbricking the brick
*What will you need:
SPFlashtool: https://spflashtools.com/windows/sp-flash-tool-v5-1728
Latest Ulefone Armor 2 ROM: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B8NC4kBpjQhYdEJTdTdpazVGQjg
The software is quite of auto-explained. Please, Do not use the Ulefone's SPFlashtool, use the one I provided. (I DID NOT CREATE IT)
Shut off your phone
In SPFlashtool set the ''scatter-loading file'' inside the ROM zip, Click ''choose'' and locate it.
Keep it ''Download Only''
Click ''Download'', SPFlashtool will be waiting for your device. (REMEMBER YOU NEED THE DRIVERS I QUOTED ABOVE FOR ALL PROCESSES)
Plug your phone.
Wait until SPFlashtool say it is finished.
[*]After that your phone is brand new. If you want to try again just go up and follow all steps again (Correcting mistakes, of course)
Known Issues
-Latest Magisk is not working with our Stock ROM. It bootloops.
-Latest Nougat Xposed Module Bootloops our phone too.

TWRP Recovery:
1. Download Drivers and install them (Disable Signed Driver Enforcement)
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1T6MTq1upNt_yxrPD9MfOHR8vTOzRisvs
2. Download Oppo R9s Plus/F3 Plus Marshmallow Firmware (CPH1611EX_11_A.16_180106) and Extract it using Winrar/7-zip into a seperate FOLDER
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1xo-J5Pe65-fXyJbysVrAZYQ1mocfl53s/view
2.1 Also Download Oppo A57 Firmware and extract it anywhere you like
https://drive.google.com/uc?id=0B_0XnEjFCVsPWndzSnp2YTFYSkU&export=download
3. Download TWRP Recovery - Keep the recovery img in the same folder as of extracted firmware folder and make sure recovery file name is set to "recovery.img"
Twrp 3.1.1-0 (Latest) - Material Theme and Inbuilt Super SU Root available for easy rooting BUT Chinese language
Download and Extract only recovery.img and place it under firmware folder. u can delete other files.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gkNNx2Ik6oRF-juBDNIilDUu31w6_oI_/view?usp=sharing
To change the chinese language to english please download and flash this zip But in English language you will not get Super SU Root option to root the device from built-in twrp. you have to download SU zip now. So root directly from chinese language and then flash the english language zip to be on safe and easy side
https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=817550096634752414
Twrp 3.1.0-0 (old) (RECOMMENDED) -
Normal appearance of twrp and no inbuilt SU (sometimes it prompts to install SU, if you decline once, it won't prompt again) and totally English language. Most importantly you can flash opposite OTA updates (ozip) via this twrp
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/qbobokagdgme2oa/AABQBtKTmbwChne9z1DaayHca?dl=0&preview=recovery.zip
4. Run the MsmDownloadTool from A57 Firmware folder and you will get Session Timeout error. just ignore it and close the software
4.1. Now run MsmDownloadTool from our F3 plus firmware folder and uncheck "Reset After Download"
5. Switch off ur Mobile and Hold Vol down + Vol Up simultaneously and Plug the usb to pc
5.1 After plugging to pc, open device manager and expand PORTS section and make sure the device is detected as "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM xx)". if not you have drivers issues!
6. Press F5, uncheck all options except Recovery and double click on Recovery option and select the recovery.img from firmware folder.
7. press Start and Flashing will be success (Green color message). press stop and unplug the usb
8. Press and hold Vol Up and Power Button and release them when it vibrates. NOW IMMEDIATELY after seeing oppo logo AGAIN PRESS Vol up + Power button to Power Off your device to prevent booting!!!! (If you fail to turn off your device, mobile will boot and will auto restore the stock recovery. so you will have to re-flash the twrp again)
9. Now press Vol Down + Power button to Enter into TWRP

Thank you for the mention, honestly I just said a few details only. We need people like you to shed some light on these unloved phones. XDA community thanks you heartfully for your contribution.
The only thing I can say is : Go Forth, and plant the Nougat to the ground herewith. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . It's time for Nougat to be rooted.
Also just like to confirm that MSMDownloadTool works for Windows 10 too, as proved by this article and video : http://www.techzai.com/crack-msmdownload-tool/

Hi, i recently update my oppo F3 plus (CPH1613EX_11_A.18_180413 marshmallow), and i try to root it using this method, it's always boot on the stock recovery when i finish (i did step by step every single world you said).
I think that's a security renforcement about this version of colorOs, i wonder if there is a way ton downgrade to the last version without losing my data (lots of apps), because i did root it whit the version that i had once.
Thanks you
Re: So, i flashed my oppo with the msmtool that you put on your post (all images expect datauser partition), and changed the recovery image before the phone boots..... and it woorks perfectly now.
PS: dont upgrade to the version CPH1613EX_11_A.18_180413 if you want root your phone, it won't work.

Did you uncheck "Reset After Download" option in msmtool ?
No, i didn't ; in all case i didn't let the phone boot after passing the recovery.img.
Wich version of rom do you have please ?
EDIT: when i downgrade the rom, it worked perfectly
NB: after downgrading , the first time, the phone boot directly and it was the new version (wich causes me problems) that was on it, even when i had flashing all the system

1. U need to uncheck reset after download option to not let the tool to reboot it phone into os
2. I have upgraded to a.18 build via ota 65mb and root worked. Tested with my own hands
3. Caution: if you dont CHECK userpartition in msmtool, after reboot it asks for Android password to proceed and we don't know that password. It's a checkmate. You need to wipe everything to boot
4. If you have patience please flash Magical 16.0 and test it. For me Wi-Fi is not turning on after flashing magisk.
5. I suggest you to use the twrp 3.1.0. bcoz the latest 3.1.1 does not flash oppo ota (.ozip)
