Can I flash this over a Lollipop Rom? Like B331? I mean with Lollipop TWRP

I TRIED IT FOR 24 HOURS ..
i think it clean beautiful version ..
battery life is the same as B510 ..
it fixes ram management in B510 all time there are at least 1.5 gb of ram ...
the B520 , B510 is scoring 53000+ in antutu .. the same as lollipop B326 ..
BUT i think there are common problem in both B510, B520..
1-there is aggressive app closing and I have no idea why that is happening !!
2-youtube app is very laggy and sloow !!
3-facebook is have huge frame drop .. and have problem with launching messenger from inside it !!

I tried install onto my l09 with the correct twrp but no luck just sits on the first Huawei logo been there now 25mins.

[ROM] 5.1 For N910H [TWRP backup File]

TWRP backup for 5.1 system and boot to run it on N910H
rom based on N910CXXU1COH4
Installation
1- extract the file and copy the extracted file to TWRP folder in internal storage
2- reboot into recovery
3- make a full wipe ( dalvik , data & system)
4- go to restore option
5- select backup file and swipe to restore
6- reboot and enjoy ! ^__^
Download Link
*IMPORTANT NOTES
1- for people who their TWRP cant detect backup file follow this steps :-
1- enter recovery
2- make a small backup like backup for boot only
3- reboot and go to my files
4- copy the backup folder of this rom which called 2015-08-26--18-57-38_LMY47X.N910CXXU1COH4 to the small backup folder
5- reboot to recovery and follow the steps above
2- root is not available for this rom yet ! so dont try to flash supersu.zip or flash supersu.tar cause you will have bootloop
3- this ROM made to N910H , so if you want to try it on N910C or N910U try it on your own risk

No.!!! At moment we need to wait for samsung to release Kernel source for android 5.1.1 firmware and there are big knox security related changes which makes root also impossible on stock kernel at moment.
Can someone tell me how extacly to do this? should i extract the zip 1 time and end up with 41005ee545b791bb and then put it in TWRP folder ?

I am experiencing exactly the same issue.
Upgrade to B510 worked (it booted) but after installation of TWRP for MM the phone got into an bootloop. TWRP 2.8.7.0_6 is the only recovery which is able to start, it is impossible to get any older ones to start up. The stock recovery image from B510 is the only stock recovery which is able to start up, also it is possible to force the update for UPDATE.APP s on the internal memory, unfortunately there is no package avaiable which does not fail to install, as there are just partial updates for 6.0 and no full package and all other full packages are 5.1 or less. The downgrade B510-B354 seems to expect system files from B510 and as i got KangvipB354v2A flashed, those are not available. Also my nandroid backup from 5.1.1 won't boot up (does 6.0 expect an other kernel in the boot.img, was the bootloader changed during the update to 6.0?).
So we definitely need to get either one of those files to get our phones working again:
1. boot.img, cust.img and system.img (we've already got recovery.img)
2. or a complete nandroid backup of a working B510
3. or a full version UPDATE.APP of any MM rom
I would really appreciate if someone with a working B510 could provide one of these!

yes it is. thank you for your great tool btw.
I not tested cwm, because i never had KK on my phone.
It seems to me that if you have LP and install recovery KK , it can be a problem.

If I try the mobopx tool it says, "device not found", but write successful.
in the link for step 2 there is a link to 9 files that can be downloaded individually or zipped.
If you try to install the zip file it fails, if you put the zip in the twrp backup folder, twrp doesn't see it, if you put the files individually in the twrp backup folder, twrp doesn't see them. If you create a file called back-ups in the external sd card, same results.

After reset factory and formatting internal storage via TWRP my phone doesnt boot

Hi guys I have TWRP insalled and it works fine but when I boot it shows the huawie logo and nth happens for hours I downloaded the UPDATE.ZIP the B560 of android 7 (https://www.obeygeek.com/download-h...oid-7-0-nougat-b560-firmware-update-official/) which was my android version before this happens I dont even know if I have an os on my phone now I tried to install UPDATE.ZIP via TWRP install ZIP functions and I got error 7 and failed so I extracted UPDATE.ZIP to use UPDATE.APP in dload folder on my sd card then I put it in pressed volume +- and power button so it got into update page but gave an error that its not compitable with current :/ I dont know what to do I thought it might be the TWRP problem so if i change it to stock version it'll be possible to update dload method but then Im afraid to lose TWRP and then every thing I am a noob in ROM Things please help me out.
Update:
I just got my build number is NXT-L29C185B200
but I downloaded and put in dload NXT-L29C432B560
Can it be the only problem why B200 when I asked support they said nth i was running B560 before this happens)

Where have you got this TWRP? Maybe, it was wrong. It's for it that I ask it.
You make the dload method
When the dload method is finished, you make the factory reset with the erecovery
Reboot
If it reboot fine, after you'll install the TWRP if you want it.

Getting Back to Stock after Using RR N

Hey guys... I want some guide for getting back to stock from RR rom... Help will be appreciated
You don't have a TWRP backup? If not, you can choose between using dload method to flash update.app all in once, or manually flash recovery.img, vendor.img and boot.img from a stock firmware by adb fastboot and perform a factory reset (all files that you can extract from a package using Huawei Extractor)
Rommco05 said:
I think need to be flashed just stock recovery (extracted with Huawei Extractor form firmware wich u want install) and after can be used dload method

Surely faster than flashing partitions one by one manually
Or you can use erecovery method.

You can boot to erecovery by powering off your phone, then power it on again. Once you see the bootloader warning, press and hold the volume up button. It should take you to erecovery. You can select the first option there and it will download and flash the latest firmware.

Erecovery doesn't work most of the time.

Hay man, it's stupidity but, can I flash B130 (MM 6.0 EMUI 4.1) on my BLN-L21C185 while it is now running B361. Or I need to flash a custom rom first and then flash B130 via TWRP or may be I can flash stock B130 recovery only and then use dload file of B130 or stock recovery flash will do the job?
Too many questions in a single line hun?

I think I can work with all. I've already used dload to upgrade my device.
I've ADB installed on my laptop and have also used some commands adb mod and fastboot mod.
I can also root my device and use TWRP to flash any thing, my only concern is, which way should I choose.

from a custom ROM of nougat.. to a stock ROM nougat.. you need adb and fastboot..
Tools:
1. Huawei update extractor tool (can easily download it by googling.. if need help i can help u further)
2. Extract (simple extract) update.app from the dload folder of a stock recovery to your PC.
3. open the huawei extractor tool and choose the path where you placed update.app in your PC .
4. now Extract system.img and boot.img from update.app
5. if you wish to go to stock recovery instead of twrp.. u can extract recovery img too from there..
6. now put these in adb and fastboot folder
7. and flash them..
Now the tool opens update.app .
Extract system.IMG and boot.IMG from update.app

Or a more simple way to restore is to restore the TWRP backup. We always recommend to have a backup before doing anything critical on phone but still many mess around.

Exactly mate, the best is to always keep at least a couple of backups, in case something could go wrong while reflashing 1st one

I literally messed my phone on 15th August. Had backup but deleted the same while formatting, forgot a copy on pc.
But luckily had a file taken on 1st August..
Life saver

Whats your model Mahrukhsa..may be you can share the twrp backup of stock or custom rom if you have any..just boot+system will work. We are planning and sharing ours so that others can use it and restore their phone

But root isn't a must, an unlocked bootloader and a custom recovery could be enough!
