Super Touch App- Reduce Lag and make you touch screen smooth. - Android Apps and Games

I did not make this app, I'm just helping a China Developer to post on XDA.
Super smooth on Android touch screen, avoid content not-follow-up problems.
Review :http://www.phonearena.com/news/Spot...d-up-your-sluggish-Android-smartphone_id75851
AndroidCommunity: Super Touch optimizes touch function, improves battery consumption. http://google.com/newsstand/s/CBIw1fjbuCg
Facebook page : https://m.facebook.com/supertouchapp/
1. Magnificent screen sliding respond, easy sliding on screen and no longer delay.
2. Incredibly smooth on zooming web pages or images as well as any operations needing to zoom.
3. Sliding to all directions is unbelievably quick and smooth.
4. Unbelievably quick and smooth lists rolling.
5. Much faster launching and loading Apps.
6. Speedy and accurate typing experience.
7. Much rapid on playing all sorts of games.
8. The first power-saving optimization app that does not affecting phones’ performance.
Super Touch allows you to experience unprecedented smooth smart phones.
Main functions:
One of this App’s main functions is to allow Android devices sliding much quicker and smoother, which will solve the problem of slow drag.
Sliding, dragging and zooming are far smoother; content follows up your fingertip; switching columns is also a lot quicker.
Lists rolling is extraordinarily speedier and smoother, typing is incredibly easier.
There is also a very practical power-saving optimization function, which doesn’t sacrifice the performance of the phone.
Important Instruction:
720P resolution is recommended a level of 600-1314
1080P resolution is recommended a level of 1520-3998
2K resolution with Qualcomm’s GPU is recommend a level of 5186-6998
2K resolution, non- Qualcomm GPU is recommended a level of 600-1520 ( For example, Samsung S6 and Series Edge )
2K or 4K resolution with Qualcomm GPU both can use level 9998.
The above information is only reference; please adjust to the most appropriate level for specific phones.
1. Higher the GPU ability is, the smoother it will be within a higher level, relatively, a high level with a poor GPU is less effective.
2. After launching touch optimization and being enabled, it can work without running in background (about 1 minute to take effect, depend on CPU’s performance)
3. Do not switch off auto start-up, every time rebooting system requires a auto optimization permission.
There will be a small portion of extra power consumption while enabling the optimization system, and after power consumption will go back to normal.
Advanced function is a smooth level of 300 – 9998, it can be open to use when a phone reaches the standard.
No Root permission needed for all functions.
Sliding optimization will be disabled for some devices while charging, (system controls the effect when it disables) It will be notified of the optimization system disabled while charging.

Super App this one

How about making a video on how the app works

interesting im going to test it, subscribed

Im using this app and idk whether it helps to reduce stuttering while scrolling on my phone. But im using a custom lock screen and the lock screen doesn't show during unlock when i enable thiss app. Lock screen shows when this app is disabled.

Hum this app seem to be suspicious! in the description it says the advanced feature can be disabled only with official firmware flash ...

Why?

The moment i read "I did not make this app, I'm just helping a China Developer to post on XDA.*" i became skeptical. And the OP keeps spamming with different threads of the same app.
No offense mate but can you give us a rundown or better a video review about this app? I think this is too good to be true to be working well without root.
It will be good to enlighten us.

Agreed with the above poster.
And in your video, the app/optimization is "disabled" by plugging in your charger. Ive experienced personally some of my devices become laggier when connected to charger maybe because of actions/apps which are running when plugged in.

[APP] Prox: Control of The Force :) A new way to command your phone...

Hello all! I had a thread but it was locked because it was a paid app. Now, there is a free one to check out. It's called Prox Lite and it has just been added to the Android market.
Prox makes use of the phone's proximity sensor and accelerometer to initiate an action. Prox figures out what orientation you are holding the phone and then activates that action when you swipe your hand across the proximity sensor. Prox Lite has 4 actions:
*Flat - Emulate home button
*Toward - Expand and contract notification panel
*Left - Launch phone dialer
*Right - Launch browser (google.com)
All you have to do is turn on the service through the app and then tilt the phone in the direction you are trying to activate the action for and then pass your hand over the proximity sensor and it will activate the action for that direction.
You can amaze your friends, and feel like a Jedi. Imagine the look on your friend's faces when you do things without even touching the phone itself. Just to ease your mind, Prox is disabled when the screen is off and when you are in a call. Normal proximity sensor usage is preserved during these situations to you don't have to worry about Prox doing things when you don't want it to

Here is another video made by one of our own members here at XDA. Thanks patrick848!
He also wrote a little write up here if you want to check it out.
And, here is a link to the android market
Download Prox Lite from Android Market
Download Prox Lite from GetJar
If you have an issue where it doesn't show up in the market or it says that your device is incompatible, I have made Prox Lite available to XDA peeps via direct apk. If your device will allow install from the market, please use the link above, otherwise, click here to download the apk directly. Downloading from the market allows for easier tracking so I would appreciate it if you would download it from there This is for the members that cannot find the version because of certain software...
P.S. Some users are having trouble with making this work properly. If you are having issues with the left and right actions, try just a slight tilt and then a swipe. Refer to the video for an example of this. Also, different phones have different proximity sensors and some of them just happen to work better than others. Give it a try to see what you think and don't forget to leave a rating in the market. I hope you enjoy this app

This is really cool. My biggest concern right now, having only just tried it for a few minutes, is potential battery drain. If it doesn't end up being too bad, i may consider trying the full version. It would be nice to be able to hide the notification bar icon, but the full version may already have that.
Battery drain is really not all that bad. The listeners are unregistered when the screen goes off. During normal phone use during the beta a few months ago, Prox was only using around 3 - 4 % battery during a normal day. But alas, this depends entirely on how much you actually use the phone itself. If your screen is on for the better part of the day, then drain will occur. But under normal use, it really isn't that bad. Thanks for the feedback

Yeah. I was originally going to put it into the Productivity category on the market, but I think it's more of a novelty than an actual productive applications. It's just cool to show people. There are some things in the paid version that can be put to actual use though. There is a Timer mode that activates an action based on how long you cover the sensor. It could be useful in a car dock or a cradle at home.
What version of Android are you running?

I picked up the pro version. So far it's pretty solid. Battery drain is pretty much non-existent, maybe 2% with a lot of screen time.
Some things I would like to see:
Tasker integration (this would be the best addition by far).
A combination of the Timed and normal types so you could hold over the sensor longer for a different option.
Being able to hide the icon in notifications.
Media button options like Previous Track, Play/Pause, Next Track.
Simulating a long-press of the search button to bring up Voice Actions.
Profiles that automatically change based on what app you're in.
Thanks for making this, I've been using it a lot today, and it has already become habit. Keeps my screen cleaner, too.

Im glad that you're liking it! A lot of the things you have mentioned have already been pointed out to me and I am thinking which ones will actually be possible. Some of the things will require root access. But I have a summer job atm (10 1/2 hour days) so I am not really tinkering with it right now. When I get back into school mode, you can pretty much expect to see some if not all of this added to the pro version. I appreciate the feedback and be on the lookout to some awesome future updates
P.S. please leave a comment and rating in the market
Do you have it on any other markets? AndroidPIT, SlideME or anything similar where I can buy it with a paypal account?

It is not currently on any other market but the Android Market. I may add it to some of the ones you have mentioned but it may be a bit before it gets there.
My portal says that it should show up as compatible for the Desire HD. I see that you are running MIUI so that may be the reason for it not showing up. Some custom ROMs and leaked builds of Android cause this and I have no reason why.

Android "List what you dislike or hope to see changed"

Sorry mods if i placed this in the wrong section but I just hope google reads this and fixes its faults. I want everyone reading this to post there issues or dislikes so we can enjoy this UI more while providing the best experience to us and other earthlings out there.
1. standby - I noticed the battery life is pretty good when it comes to playing movies, music and little bit of gaming but the standby is just horrid i know are phones are powerful as umpc but there should be a better way to lower consumption on sleep mode.
2. market - not really liking the new layout it needs to be more organized and less oversized.
3. multitasking - it's good obviously between switching to apps right away but sometimes i am left with too much baggage. I suggest there should be a setting to switch this option on/off.
4. scrolling - pretty good but still a little bit of lag now and then. would like the bounce when you hit the edge of the page.
5. UI - needs to be little bit more animated and lively.
6. brightness - the option to lower the level to the lowest.
7. websites - still has some bugs and glitches.
8. sdxc - running out of room here needs support of the extra capaity of sd cards.
9. apps - more quality apps. it seems like they just throw the free ones in the market without fully testing it for bugs. i have to scroll through dozens of unknown users with opinions that are just randomly unbiased.
10. standby again! - please fix this google!!! if i am left stranded from my car broken down or if i am vacationing to another then i'm screwed. I had a winmo phone did me good lasted more than a week on standby.....
It is not Google who builds the UI, its the phone manufacturer... Motoblur, thouchwiz,Sense etc, not google-builds.
To much baggage?, Try downloading and installing an app killer from market.
What other category is there to add to market btw?
Scrolling, I would think this is directly from your phone and not cause of Google...
again, try app killer to free up some ram.

I'm not talking about category but how the market is viewed it's all oversized block columns I prefer it to be more smaller and with more information in each block. I know there are app killers but it's better if it's official built running it would be more stabled and furthermore i hope more people will list there dislikes or changes about android and maybe google and the phone manufacturers will see this and make some fixes to there next builds. i want this thread to be seen by google from future post from xda users dislikes and hoping to change the faults....

Android market has one of the worst layouts..(Both in Android as well as on Website) Despite having all the resources at disposal why they are still taking time to improve the layout?(Laziness??)
message apk should be improved
Given your initial post it sounds as though WP7 may be a better OS to suit your needs.
i dont quite understand #6
"6. brightness - the option to lower the level to the lowest."
my past 2 Android phones (G2 & currently my 4G Touch) have always been able to lower the brightness all the down.

Mcds is confusing hardware with Android. Basically he'd like the lowest brightness setting on his phone to be dimmer.
You know how the lowest brightness setting on one phone can actually be brighter than a different model, just as the highest setting can be brighter on one handset compared with a different model. It's down to the hardware, not Android.
all these things can be fixed with either a new ROM new kernel or just an app download... when it comes to android, if you know wt u doing then there is nothing that cant be fixed/tweeked to ur liking... that's the power of android my friend RECOGNIZEEEEEEEEEE
Doesn't matter what app, kernel, or rom you download. After androids attempts at emulating ios and wp7s fluid UIs they've proven, the UI just isn't going to get good. To me the UI is half of the reason I buy a phone with the other half being gaming and social integration (be it Facebook or texting) perhaps a small percentage of it is battery life but with my transition to wp7 a huge weight was lifted off of my shoulders. I realized I never wanted to dissect my phone just to increase the fps by 10, I did it because I wanted to make my mobile experience bearable. Now, I have everything I want out of the box.
Smartphones are app platforms, whatever flavour the OS is. Most of what people spend time doing on their phone, whether it be texting, gaming or emailing, is using apps. UI isn't a factor for me as i only see it for a very brief period until i launch the app i need.
If anything, it's the quality of the apps that should be compared between platforms, not the UI. Android Market could probably do with a bit more quality control, that's my own criticism really. Like for like apps on iOS are often more polished than their Android equivalent.

Exactly, you've freely admitted that you found Android too complex, so of course the simplicity of such a basic OS as WP7 is going to appeal, lets face it, it's even less complex than iOS.
It's ideal for people who have never used a touch screen phone before, or even a mobile phone of any kind, especially if they have fat fingers, the sort of people who are not going to notice the lack of functionality but are easily impressed with visual effects.
xaccers, I still find it comical that you call me the troll but eh. I guess if that's your prerogative. I prefer my phone have decent social integration or as they put it, be "peoplecentric." as I use my phone primarily for *gasp* communication. The fact that it's also aesthetically pleasing is just a bonus, another that android does not have.
DirkGently, I agree to some extent, but I guess I feel the way I do because with WP7 the UI is uniform across the whole OS and most third party apps. I've come to appreciate the beauty in that. I do also agree that I see more quality in both the iOS and WP7 versions of apps that are on all platforms.
Let's not forget that you can't connect to ad-hoc wireless networks. I mean... c'mon...this is just lame.
Kinda not related, but i'ld like the source to be mirrored at some more reliable location xD
Getting to topic, i do like the custom overlays(tw, sense, etc..) but they take significant resources and are one of the causes behind slow updates
Wifi is the big problem for me
I have wifi issues with Archos 70 (Android 2.1 to 2.3, rooted), and Arcer Iconia (Honeycomb 3.2 rooted). Android seems does not like my working wifi and stay in obtaining ip most of the time.
And, I plan to listen some online radio (Domi, Douban for say), once the tablet goes to idle mode, wifi disconnected, make it useless. I tried to set wifi disconnect policy, tried wifi alive, wifi lock, wifi buddy and maybe most wifi related apps in the market, none work.
While iTouch works fine for above 2 scenarios.
Battery life and more quality apps. Seriously, has anyone else noticed that Android apps feel kinda rushed and low quality. Especially if that company/app is on iOS. I always felt that the iOS counterparts seem a lot better and that more time and effort is put into them.
Also, improvement on multitasking. I don't really like the little recent app window crap. Something along the lines of WebOS's multitasking screen would be a really nice addition. Also, notifications should be a little more organized. Apple did a good job with this on their notification dropdown ripoff..

By UI he probably means Android's base UI, Stock Android. You have to admit, it is pretty meh. Downloading a app killer/task manager is a bad idea. That bogs down Android more than background apps do.

I think I have found a fix for the multitasking! (Video inside)

Hello guys. Sorry if I come off as a noob here but I have been browsing this forum for the past couple of weeks. I have been specifically looking for a fix for the htc multitasking issues. But even with the suggestions given by users, I still could not find a fix that solved the multitasking issue. However, after much tweaking and playing with minfreemanager, sense, and task manager, I think I have found a fix (or a least a temporary fix) for the multitasking issue on the HOX. Here's a quick video I made to demonstrate this.
(dot) youtube (dot) com/watch?v=FeOZtvlK08c&feature=g-upl
As you can see in the video, I am able to scroll through multiple apps without any of them closing/restarting as they normally would have on the phone with stock settings. Although not perfect, the multitasking on the HOX has become much better, and almost perfect (at least for how I believe most users would be multitasking). I can make a phone call, go back to my web browser without the browser refreshing. However, I will warn you now, with this method, the phone will freeze up/slow down occasionally (however, I have found this to only happen when using apps that utilize a lot of memory or when browsing the youtube desktop website).
1) First you'll need to download minfreemanager (many of you reading this probably already have this installed). You can get this app in the play store. However, you'll need to have your phone rooted.
2) Download advanced task manager, find the apps (such as games, browsers, etc.) that you use consistently and put them in the ignore list. Then put autokiller on and regular kill on and set the regular kill frequency to 1 minute.
3) Go to minfreemanager and set all values to 0.
4) Reboot your phone.
5) Go back to minfreemanager and reset the values to 0 and apply those settings once again.
6) Have fun with significantly improved multitasking!
Like I said, the multitasking is not perfect, however, for most users, this improved multitasking will suit you well enough to not get you frustrated. Again, if you do not want to have to deal with occasional lag/freezing, then do not use this method. However, if you want improved multitasking, this method works.
But keep in mind that I am a noob still so if there anything that is not good with my settings, please let me know. Im not a tech genius and am only trying to improve everyone's user experience with this phone.

Out of curiosity, are you running 1.82? I've had lock-up issues using minfreemanager on 1.73, but apparently they it performs better on 1.82, so I wasn't sure if that might be the cause of your freeze-up/slowdowns.

You're definitely on to something, way better than anything I have tried so far... I did have a lock up a minute ago though, could be unrelated though... More testing to come.

I've seen other reports that just being on 1.82 and using the "Minimal" or "Default" settings in Memfreemanager is enough to significantly improve the multitasking, so this might be a bit of overkill. Still, your hard work is appreciated

+1 Did as you said except for reboot and so far all Is well. Have to see how this effects battery but the multitasking is getting better.
multitasking works much better...but the phone became so laggy when i went back to home screen...takes 1 minute to pull down the notification curtain... I have reversed it now.
Thanks for the good work nevertheless!

What apps were you running when the slow down occured?
What apps did y'all add to the ignore list? Like all Widgets and stuff?

I put games, my web browser, and a couple other apps I don't want closed in the background while using on my ignore list. Anyone else having success worn this method.
I used the default setting on min free, it definitely seems to have improved the kill off time. My Chrome now stays open significantly longer than it used to, although it still dies faster than it did on my Atrix. A few slowdowns on 1.7, but no hard crashes yet.
Im not sure if it was due to this, but after applying this my phone froze at the lock screen and had to reboot.
Suggestion for anyone facing constant slow downs or lock ups, try using the mild setting for minfreemanager and see if that makes a difference. Currently testing with those settings.
Just use Rom Toolbox and use a preset in memory management. It requires root and it basically fixes the refreshing problem.. you can then tweak it the way you want

Wouldn't this do the same function as using minfreemanager.

One more quick aid. If you're still dealing with constant slow downs or lag, download cpu tuner from google play. It's free. Use the performance setting and the phone will become much quicker.

[APP][4.3+][19 Feb. - V3.0] NetLive - Monitor data speed and live app data usage

Hello all,
I spent my summer of 2013 developing my first Android app- NetLive.
It allows you to monitor your internet data transfer rate while also showing the app that is using the most data at the current moment. It runs both in the notification drawer or as a widget, so you always have access to your transfer rate information.
I stopped development for awhile, but these past few months I have been hard at it. Initially I was only going to update it to support Lollipop, but I ended up basically rewriting the whole thing to address the main gripes many users had.
Unfortunately, I had to drop support for Android versions before 4.3 because it was causing many users serious issues. Basically, I am using four API calls that may work on Android versions prior to 4.3, but it is not guaranteed. As a result, in previous versions of NetLive I was using a hack to get around this, but it was causing major battery life issues for some devices. It was a tough decision, but I think the best move was to drop support for those users that were getting a bad experience. For those curious, the API calls I am referring to are from the TrafficStats class: http://developer.android.com/reference/android/net/TrafficStats.html
Particularly these four methods: getTotalTxBytes, getTotalRxBytes, getUidTxBytes, and getUidRxBytes. These methods all give the warning: "Before JELLY_BEAN_MR2, this may return UNSUPPORTED on devices where statistics aren't available." JELLY_BEAN_MR2 is API level 18 which is Android 4.3.
All feedback you can give me is much appreciated:

Thank you very much for your input. I want to improve this as much as I can over time, so your idea has been noted.
Thank you.
downloaded and will test
damn its showing me alot of apps using data that I didnt even know was using ;
endomondo, clock widget, facebook, steam, etc etc!
suggestions :
1. Make the ICON (Notification area) a bit more polished
2. Maybe a row of icons to indicate the other apps using data, rather than 1
3. No such thing as Idle state?
4. Total : Up : Down doesnt really mean much if its a dumb user
5. Don't think you need 3 decimal points.. such as 20.xxx

jcsy, I was very surprised as well to discover apps that were running in the background.
1. I agree the notification icon can improve. My friend is the designer and I will talk to him about this.
2. For the widget, notification drawer, or both?
3. What do you mean by idle state? Do you mean that if no app is using any data, no app should be displayed? If so, I agree.
4. This is true. It is difficult to use wording that is both to the point and meaningful. There is only so much real estate. But I agree.
5. LOL, yeah, it is a bit overkill. I will look into this, at the very least making it customizable. I left that in their to make the point to users that the data monitoring is quite accurate. Also, if users set it GBps, nothing will shows if I do not have those decimal points. But I do hear what you are saying.
Thank you very much for your very specific input.
1. the notification area, which is what I added
2. notification area. I meant as in ; kbps (Steam) into kbps (Steam / Whats app / Facebook ) ?
3. If no app (whch looks like unlikely because I was staring at that god damn thing for 30 minutes) and discovered that its NEVER IDLE... unless I off the data altogether
4. How about Download/Upload? lol yes, i know its hard
5. I tried a few settings ; kbps, mbps,kBps etc and got fed up. too many decimal points, lol... its not a F1 race (with decimal timing is important ) but yea, can see how accurate the thing is
keep up the work

Verrrrrryyy interesting app! I, too, have seen apps using network that surprised me. My suggestion: keep track of apps' network usage and let me see a table of usage over the last 5 minutes, hour, day, etc. Maybe more granularity and the ability to see a particular app's usage over time in a paid version of the app? But even without these features, it's a cool app. TYVM
Thanks, any chance you can add 3.2+ compatibility? Honeycomb is often overlooked but shares quite a few pieces with ICS. Thanks anyway, gonna try that on my One too.

My hope is that I will be able to make this app 2.3+ compatible. I only had so much time this summer, but 2.3+ compatibility is definitely on the list of things I need to do. After all, it still makes up 33% of Android devices.
Nice app. For the dumb user like me, you should write out the unit of measurements settings. Not everyone knows the difference between MB and Mb.
I world like to "open" the app, so not using the notification or widget.
Hey man, nice app, but can you add a feature that shows the Total Data Consumption of an Application?
I play some Online Games on my phone, and I would like to see how many Accurate MBs did I spent for each game sessions I make. Why? Cause I only have a limited data plan..
And when I ran the app, it consumes on an about 19MB on RAM. Is this normal? Cause I only have 301MB RAM (150 RAM Unused), and having a 19MB running app is quite big...
Thanks mate!!
Really nice and cool app!!

Many users have requested data usage logging, I will definitely explore this feature. As for the RAM, this is not an unusual amount for the app. It is higher than it should be though. I wanted to release this before school started and I did not have as much time for optimization as I wanted. I will be optimizing this app more as soon as I can. Thank you for your input.

Hello all,
I am currently working on gingerbread support for NetLive.
Also, I have gotten some love for my app from a few tech sites. I think they do a great job of conveying what my app is about. If you are on the fence about trying my app, give them a read

I have started school and I am not able to devote as much time as I want to NetLive, but I am working as much as I can and determined to get Gingerbread support. I have made progress, but there is still more to be done.
If you have a Gingerbread device, and a little bit of time, I would greatly appreciate some volunteers to help test my app.
Let me know if you want to and I will PM you.

Especially since Google removed the arrows that display on the WiFi and cell indicators when data is being transferred. I think my app is now even more useful. You can now quickly tell if data is being transferred.
Feedback is greatly appreciated and I hope you enjoy your experience.

killoid, I know I said that I would be supporting GB, but given my time constraints being a student, I do not think I will be supporting the 21% of Android users still running GB.

Question Scrolling Lag Test --> Found the perfect example, need testers:

To preface, I have the S22 Ultra 256Gb (Snapdragon) 12Gb of RAM, running the latest firmware. This is not an Exynos only issue, or an 8Gb RAM only issue, it's an EVERYONE issue.
Opening the link below in a browser doesn't show any lag. You need the official Reddit app from the PlayStore to test this unfortunately but it's the perfect example to demonstrate the massive scrolling lag that occurs with some apps.
Large Twitter timelines and some Reddit posts still have very clear scrolling lag, others I am sure notice it elsewhere. If Samsung can resolve this particular issue, I believe the majority of scrolling lag issues people face will also be solved.
From what I can see, many apps use a different rendering method? It's the number of large images that possibly cause the scrolling lag. So, a better method for how the phone loads or renders images is needed to solve this problem with whatever these apps continue to use.
Open this thread below in the OFFICIAL Reddit app and scroll through the main thread at normal scrolling speed, then go back to the top and scroll faster, then test scrolling slowly (the comments under the main thread do not lag).
PLEASE report back if you notice the scrolling lag, and more importantly if someone doesn't notice it with their phone:

I literally said that in the post. Do not test using browsers (because they clearly have different levels of optimizations to save power/data, etc that result in images not loading in their highest qualities while scrolling).
Also how is that not a problem if for a few years now (on multiple high-end Android devices) we've had extremely popular apps, not ones made by small time developers, use rendering methods that are both unoptimized on the APP side and clearly on Android side too (since these issues only began around the time of Android 10 and continued to get worse with time and future iterations).
If apps continue to use that subpar rendering methods or not optimize for scrolling fluidity, and these are apps that are amongst the most popular, then perhaps Samsung/ Other Android manufacturers / Google need to start optimizing on their end.
Because at the end of the day, the user experience here is being affected.

Same applies for the Twitter app too sadly. In fact, it's worse, as 90% of Reddit threads don't have that many photos to lag. But Twitter depending on who one follows, a timeline could be filled with images and scroll stutter.
For reference, both these apps ran smoother on my Pixel 2 XL with zero lag issues by the way despite loading the same high-quality images during scroll.

Images not loading for you, look at the example below, which is how it should look and why the lag is caused. Same applies with Twitter scrolling and when lots of high-res images are in the timeline. It's very smooth when it's mostly text, or low-res images. Then it lags and stutters when high-res images start coming up.
Samsung/Google/Android have to start optimizing for when high-resolution image rendering or how it's done.

Not luck, your one is how it should look, with the high-resolution images. Which is what causes severe scrolling lag.
---
What I want to know more importantly is if there is ANYONE who is loading the official app with the images like the above and not having any lag/stutter.
Maybe people with custom ROMS or kernels can please test and let us know if it's the same for them?

If that's true. Samsung really has to fix this horrible experience in apps.
By the way, as I've already stated. This has nothing to do with Exy vs Snapdragon.
I have a Snapdragon model with 256Gb storage and 12Gb ram and it's still happening.
I have a S22u SD 12/256 model, have never had any scrolling/studdering issues but keep seeing posts about it. I'm curious as to what setting your graphics driver is under Developer Options in setting? Looks like you can change that option for individual applications.
Apologies in advance if this has been already thrashed out...

I believe you can login to Reddit as anonymous or use it without creating an account at all. Can you please download it from the PlayStore, then come and open the reddit thread in original post at the top and test it scrolling? Check the video by @vlubosh above.
Developer settings on/off do not impact it, animation on/off does not impact it, graphics driver settings under developer setting on/off do not change it. Forcing GPU rendering under developer settings does not impact it. Doing tweaks to the build.prop do not impact it either.
The stutter lag has been there the whole time for me, with every firmware update too.
You could get lucky and in the apps you use you'll never notice it. But given for example Twitter and Reddit are my primary uses with the phone outside my work, then my entire experience, outside of amazing camera, has been horrible with this phone.
