Confirmed working here with xposed. Do you think you can fix the finger print scanner with a case on?

I will look into it but dont get your hopes up as this is a hardware issue im sure LG will fix this with a update.

Confirmed working. I wonder what op did though

worked perfectly
permissions: are rw-r-r btw

Unfortunately didn't work for me. Will try it again, though, since others report it works fine.
Any preference on root explorer app? I don't trust ES.

Use this is after installing xposed? What's changed?

Nope. Tried it again, rebooted, still "Second screen has stopped" when I get a call, so it comes to the main screen.

Does this allow us to change the dpi system wide without fc?

I also got it working. I used FX file Explorer. Thank you OP! :highfive:

Thank you @tattedup! Confirmed working on my T-Mobile LG-V10. No more FCs and the second screen now shows the call info+controls.
Could you look into WiFi Calling being broken by Xposed, too? It's the same exact issue as on the G4 described here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-g4/help/wifi-calling-errors-10n-update-t3191362
We also opened an issue on rovo89's github: https://github.com/rovo89/Xposed/issues/66
It looks like the fastest fix is to deodex the APKs related to WiFi Calling, but we can't figure out which ones those are.

When you say fix the second screen settings, what do you mean? I didn't change mine. They're both set to show the second screen with phone on or off, and the shortcuts and whatnot remained where they were.

There's lots of different ways people have solved this. May just have to dig through Google but here's one I found on xda
From the Home Screen, goto*Settings*>*AppsSwipe to view*ALL*and select*Google Play servicesSelect*Clear dataSelect*Force stopPower Down the deviceRemove battery (you can probably be fine with just a battery pull rather than power down & battery pull)Power up the deviceOnce phone has completely booted up verify if the issue is still present or not by going into*Google Now

[Q] Powersaver quick settings toggle

Now that we can use powersaver by turning off the hide powersave function. Is there someway that we can have a powersave quick settings button to toggle it on and off? It appears that this exists on other versions of the phone, but as the original option was hidden I'm guessing this is too. After looking at the quick settings buttons it appears that the toggles are given a numeric id, ie 0 is user card and 2 is wifi. Does anyone know the id for powersave or if we can even enable this toggle. Thanks very much in advance for any help.

Ya we got the shaft again... If you look at other variants they have several toggles that we don't have. I want the screenshot toggle like the AT&T version has!

When I enabled the external SD card, I first had to install the insecure kernel to remove built in write protection, then edit the platform.XML to add permission for apps to write to the SD card. Otherwise, it undoes the edit on boot. Where did you find the setting for the toggle??

Maybe try exposed module handle external? That might work but if not insecure kernal should.
I hope kernal works as I need the screenshot one an some others I found were nice. Like music playlist tile was another cool one. An it lets you put mutple of the same tiles too which would be good for playlist tile.

There, works perfect now.
Something to do with how many pictures are in a single folder.
Also, cropped out some of the background, and scaled up the image (maybe lost some quality, but I didn't notice it at all).
Download the attachment or, from here (DevHost link).
@pugazh_boss Could you add a link to this post in the OP?

Apps broken after modding dpi to 280. Can't crop images

Any solution to this?
I've modded dpi to 280 using the adb method, im not rooted.
Moto Camera worked fine, after the update it started detecting the swap camera button as a tap and used to take a pic. Had to rollback to factory version and it works fine now.
but, i cant crop images in any app.. it shows only one-fourth of the image and I can't pan / zoom. Crop is broken.
I didn't realize the DPI could be changed in adb, learn something new every day.

I use app settings and change Android system to 270. Everything seems to work. If I find a troublesome app, I change just that app to 320.

I believe it's "adb shell wm density “INSERT_DPI” && adb reboot" I've never had much luck with changing the DPI. Several apps that I really need refuse to install and/or update if I change it.
Have you guys tried this app? I'm on stock rooted and set to 280 without problems.

I'm not rooted, which is why I can't set individual dpi for apps.

Yeah but what about rooting to set and then unrooting? If your bootloader is locked I'd imagine you could do so safely too. I know it doesn't exactly work as you would like, but maybe a good workaround until you did? Just so you can have your apps optimized.

Would be nice, but app settings stopped working with android 5.0 and the developer has abandoned the project....so no dice there. I miss that module TERRIBLY!!

This just edits the build.prop....why the need for an app to do that?

Good point, I just figured for the people who didn't want to crack it open.

There is an unofficial 1.11 app settings somewhere that works for me just fine.

OMG, really?!?!?! Would you please be kind enough to share the apk?
**edit**
nevermind, I found it. Thank you for letting me know!! You seriously have no idea how excited I am to have this one back!!! Screen rotation is absolutely HUGE for me, and I've been having to resort to half-baked root app solutions with more bugs than working parts since the lollipop update.
