That's pretty low, as the note 4 with the right rom will do 52,000, anyone have a quadrant score to report? One stock and maybe one with xposed installed?
Got about 52,800. I didn't expect this phone to perform. It works fantastic in day-to-day use. I don't 3D game. Can't ask for much more from it (except more battery life - but removable battery is its saving grace).

For a 6 cores phone basically 2 high performance cores, these results are not bad, im coming from a Note 4 with Exynos Octa Core, this phone is much smoother, also after rooting and freezing some apps with Titanium Backup, I was able to get 27 hours and 4+ SOT, I say, once developers gets their hand on this phone, it only will get better :fingers-crossed:

Yikes those scores are low. The s6 edge smokes this thing with 70k plus antutu scores.

Why don't you run a successive antutu a second and then a third time back to back and post the scores.
Nobody runs a phone cold, its already warm and then they want to do more stuff.
Lets see how this thing does.
An 808 should not drop below 45k. The 810 throttles much more.

Hey there! OK before I start, please understand that I am WELL AWARE that quadrant scores don't necessarily mean a whole lot when it comes to the performance of a rom. I get that. However I do have one question regarding this one. I notice in the ...what, 3rd video test? I dunno, the one with the moon orbiting the planet. It won't go over 10FPS. This to me is not right considering how great it performs on all the other tests and also considering that my old Optimus One usually gets 55-65FPS on that exact test. I tried with the kernel that comes with the rom and also with GlaDOS 2.5 kernel, both at 1GHz and 1.2GHz and the results are exactly the same. Is this a bug? Is there a fix, or a work around to improve this? I see the nexus S scoring 2400-2700 on quadrant and with this 10FPS on that test I am still scoring 2100 or so. Any help as to why it lags on that one test would be most helpful!....well, would be SOMEWHAT helpful. A FIX would be MOST helpful lol

I don't think quadrant had been updated to run properly on ICS so it may not be pulling the GPU to render that scene. So you may not need a fix because what your looking at and what quadrant may be reporting could be incorrect.
With root explore go into system/lib/egl and delete eGLES_android.so then reboot and the plants will run around 56-60fps

Wow thanks that worked! what does that file do anyway? Does deleting it have any other impact on the phone?
And it looks like you were both correct because even though the fps on that test improved, my score his exactly the same lol

Like I said. Quadrant isn't updated to know what its supposed to test.

Actually that's something which belongs in the dev thread. If anything you can just post on the issue tracker on Github, I've grown vary of XDA.
There's a new TI LED controller so I can't port the old Philips controls from the old phones. I'll rewrite it eventually but I got other things to do now.

just got my s4 one day ago. rooted immediately, flashed omega7.0 and the latest perseus. did not touch anything on the u/v in stweak. no o/c as well. but the antutu score is so low 21000+, i thought it at least supposed to be 27000+?
i tried adam kernel, had the same result. is that normal? did i miss anything?

thanks for you response. as i mentioned i got it only one day, without touching anything on u/v & o/c. i guess this is considered lower score than the stock one? i merely care about bench mark, i just want to know is this normal? or i need few days to let it settle down? fyi, i tried more than 10 times and it only score between 20k-21k. perhaps you can be kind enough to give me some idea rather than congrats me.

It is normal for benchmark to be lower than on stock kernel all devices differ. Following the development of this kernel it has been stated that the kernel is not intended for high benchmarks but more for overall stability, smoothness and better battery life.
Benchmarks is just a number and a high benchmark does not always mean your phone is smooth and performs very well under normal user conditions.
Hope this answers your question and should I be mistaken about anything anyone welcome to rectify me on those points.

i never meant that perseus is running low on benchmark, in fact, it's the highest between chainfire's cfroot, wanam's adam. i tried all these 3 kernel, all score only between 19k-21k. i just wonder if i have accidentally limited my cpu speed? i will do a factory reset and re-test it.
again, i dont or merely care about benchmark, i just care if my s4 is running normally.

I have kanged Andrei's response with respect to benchmarks.

did you guys note the download link for perseus alpha 4 rc1 on andrei github? , dont flash it unless you know whats in there
edit: just flashed it (couldnt resist). based on the newer sources it seems, camera works fine with latest cam firmware
lets wait for Andrei release......build seems to be a release candidate....so its should not be for long....

I received mine yesterday, rooted, flashed doc rom to remove bloatware, flashed perseus kernel.
I ran a few antutu and I was getting 27-28k without changing any setting.

i used to get around 32k in antutu and around 18k in quadrant before franco kernel r33 but now i am getting around 24k and 11k respectively i highlt doubt this is due to kernel (i didnt screw up anything (no custom roms nothing...)) can some confirm this ?? plzz

in practical sense the phone works perfect apps run smoothly and battery life is awesome (5-6hrs)...but theoritical sense why did the scores become less ?? did franco limit the processor speed or something??

The 'score' is meaningless. Let it go, uninstall any benchmark apps and don't bother running a test ever again.
Put it this way...if you suddenly scored 234069823987693827469823764 after flashing a new kernel, but performance and battery actually got worse, which one would you prefer?

Hi,
Franciso explained that he had decreased the CPU temp limit before thermal throttling, that could explain your lower score (earlier thermal throttle)... Check also your max CPU freq.
Let cool down your phone before you run Antutu and see, or play with the thermal settings (raise a bit the CPU temp before thermal throttling, core also).
The user is in its right to know why he have a lower score in benches between two different version of a kernel, whatever if a bench is useful or useless... Obviously if all is smooth and run perfectly for you, it's the principal.
nexus 5 is high end device, benchmark score doesn't effect the performance of device using any kernel.
i never experience any lag on my nexus, i always get different score in antutu.
r32 I got around 32k with antutu now I get around 29k on r33 but battery life is so incredible I'm willing to sacrifice benchmark points useless in day to day use .... isn't benchmarking moslty about bragging?

I believe a lot of people are using the 3dmark for benching... honestly, i benched my phone when I first got it and it was around 58k I rarely have ever seen it higher. I was reading a while back that the antutu program cant see all of our cores correctly and thats why we get such low scores atm. I havent used 3dmark on this phone so cant really give you a comparison to mine. Are you super anal like me and just want to see the max capabilities of your phone vs others or just for piece of mind to know your phone is rock solid/fast? I go for both =D I want to see what my phone is like compared to others, but in the long run i think that does more damage than good. All these notes should be running identical and we dont know what settings and or apps other people have when they run the benchmark, the only for sure would be to make sure that every single person that is benchmarking is on a stock phone with NO tweaks or apps installed other than the benchmarking software..then compare..

Thanks, I really dint cate about the score, I just want to make sure that I don't have a problem. Dunce my multi core, and 3d don't appear to be skirting at all.
My antutu also would NOT run the garden scene correctly with out crashing after a few runs. had to reinstall to work and then eventually said F it.. lol..
Its hard to say when things happen to the phone that slow it down, most of the time it is an app... but the best option if unsure is to master reset and install only that app that is giving you issues and see if it fixes it. Also paying attention to comments on the app to see if any other users might be having the same problems before doing that master reset..
I usually find a new game or a game I know is graphic intensive, like hearthstone, GTA games or other and if the phone plays it fine, then no worries!
When I first got my moto x pure 2015 my phone was scoring anywhere from 71000 - 72000. That was on stock. I just installed aicp for the 2nd time a couple of nights ago and it scored 78268 on antutu benchmark. That's awesome performance with this phone. I've installed every custom rom for this phone and aicp has gave me the most solid all around good scores along with the performance to match. I love every ROM that has been made for this phone though. I know that chosing aosp/cm based ROMs may make you go without certain features such as moto voice and display but it always makes up for all of that and then some in the long run with a lot better performance and some bad ass tweaks

Trupure with Frankenclark kernel (performance settings) will give you the same results

How??! I have Pure nexus and i scored 79k... Do i have to use an earlier version of pure nexus or what?
used to get around 60k on truepure and frankenkernel. now 72k with CM13. how do you get to 78k ? Can Xposed lower scores ?

I get around 72000 on stock. What are the individual scores (GPU, CPU, UX, etc..)? Also, if the device is really hot, it could be throttling the CPU.

I get around 72000 on stock. What are the individual scores (GPU, CPU, UX, etc..)? Also, if the device is really hot, it could be throttling the CPU.

Could be throttling, scores look fairly normal, except CPU is quite low. Is the phone very hot when you are testing?

Holy ****! OC Cpu? But i still don't understand how you got that score? I've tried Truepure but i only get 70-80k. I see the UX score is more than twice as high than it usually is. Did you do something to make that score higher or what?

Try to cool it down for a while by not using it at all and then test it again when it's cool, there will be difference.
