THEN : Rename firmware.zip to 0PFJIMG.zip and put it in your sd-card and go to hboot then it will verifying the zip file then you accept to update
It will update your boot.img , recovery.img and radio.img etc.

I added CID index from android-info. If you can find yours, then you are able to flash it.

Then I had unlocked again from fastboot USB and flash recovery but now i cant access to anything.
White screen with message "entering recovery.... this build is for development...." and after some seconds reboot, in bucle, reboot reboot reboot......
I cant connnect now via USB and i cant enter in fastboot!!!!! And I cant turn OFF the phone!!!

try to keep pressing volume up + power button for 10 or 20 seconds , when your phone shows a qiuck black splash screen, press QIUCKLY volume down + power button , you should see hboot screen

In my case sometimes I have to hold vol+ and power more than 20sec. 43sec is the top score

Remove the sd card and delete the file.

[Q] Bricked? By trying to get s-on

Dear xda-community,
as said in the title i dont know if i bricked my device by trying to get s-on again.
At first i read some threads here about getting s-on again and revert to stock.
I was s-off by revelutionary and flashed the ENG-hboot a few days ago (0.98.2000). After that i flashed the stock 1.47 rom and was trying to get s-on and stock again with the 1.47 RUU. I read that if i have the ENG-hboot i can run the RUU and then i get back to stock and s-on. But after i was running the RUU, i get to the bootloader again (on the phone). In the header stands now "*** Security Warning ***" and i'm s-on again like i want it with hboot 0.98.0002.
But the problem is that i cant get out of the bootloader, i can only acsses fastboot and the bootloader. If i click 'recovery', 'reboot' or anything else it only restarts the bootloader. I cant even turn the phone off, only with pulling the battery :/
So i'm stucked in the hboot 0.98.0002 with s-on and i dont know what i can do now or if i bricked my desire s permanently
Can anyone help me please?
are you sure that you have used the right RUU?

It should be if you bought it in Europe. What happens when you try the RUU again? You should do this when "FASTBOOT USB" is written on your phone screen.

Ok there is what you can do:
run RUU without a connected phone. Let the screen open. Go to WIndows Explorer, C drive and type in the search box : rom.zip. When you find it copy it to another place and close the RUU window.
Then extract from the rom.zip these images: system.img, boot_signed.img, recovery_signed.img
If you do not have fastboot command use the Guide in my signature. Then in cmd on your PC with phone in "fastboot usb" mode type:
Code:
fastboot flash system {path to the file}\system.img
fastboot flash boot {path to the file}\boot_signed.img
fastboot flash recovery {path to the file}\recovery_signed.img
where {patho to the file}\ should be replaced with the the actual path to the file from your Windows Explorer (like C:\android\images)
then, if the flashing is successful try to reboot to OS (wait several minutes on the white screen it can take some time to load)
This solution is taken from here, credits to degit

thank you for your help!
i will try that and report back in a few minutes
hm
i cant get it to work in this way :/
if i write fastboot flash system C:\android-tools\system.img
it tells me:
"sending 'system' (571388 KB)...
OKAY [93.130s]
writing 'system'...
(bootloader) signature cheking...
FAILED (remote: signature verify fail)
finished. total time: 166.095s"
its the same with boot_signed.img and recovery_signed.img
if i try fastboot getvar version-main i get : 11.10.401.4
think there is a typo, shouldnt it be 2.10.401.4? could it be this and if yes how could i change it?
So you problem maybe sounds the same, but it is not.
Try
Code:
fastboot oem rebootRUU
Your phone will reboot to a black screen with silver HTC logo. Then run the RUU.
Other options is to go to the repair centre and tell them that this happened during OTA update.

maybe there is any way to get s-off from fastboot or bootloader?
got to new hboot with this instruction: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=20850548&postcount=22
managed to get the unlocktoken from htcdev but if i flash it everything themes fine, but i cant choose the option yes (unlock bootloader).
if i choose "no" and press the power button it reboots like it should but if i choose "yes" and press the power button nothing happens. i can still choose between the options but nothing happens :/
anyone know how i can get it working to unlock this bootloader and flash a custom recovery?

You are soff?
Did you have fastboot/adb setup?
Can you go into bootloader and post the hboot, radio, son/soff status.
(to go into bootloader remove battery... Put it again then press volume down and power button together... You'll get a white screen.. Post the details from that..)
First of all if you used PG58IMG.zip for firmware update then either remove the file from sdcard via a card reader.. Or just boot into bootloader without sdcard in your phone
sent from my blazing fast pyramid through sonic waves
You can either superCID or add YOUR cid to the firmware file.
Either one is pretty simple. I'm going to assume that you have adb set up already, but if not you'll need that first.
SuperCID:
remove or rename PG58IMG.zip from sdcard
reboot into bootloader (power+vol down)
from adb/fastboot directory:
Code:
fastboot oem writecid 11111111
put PG58IMG.zip back on sdcard
boot into bootloader again and let flash complete
Edit PG58IMG.zip:
extract the zip file
locate the android_info.txt
edit the file with notepad++ to add your cid matching the format of the others listed
compress all extracted files into a new zip and flash

You need to go to fastboot from hboot screen use volume up/down buttons to browse through menu and use power button to enter it once you've selected fastboot.
Then connect your device to your pc
Your phone should read fastboot usb.. Once you've done this
Now go to you pc and
Type fastboot devices
If it shows your device serial number then good its connected
Now to SuperCID
fastboot oem writecid 11111111
This will do.. Make sure it has eight ones
Then after this you can update your firmware using the pg***file you got

[Q] Firmware Upgrade - Help Needed

Last night I finally achieved S-Off,and am trying to upgrade my firmware from 3.32 to 3.33 (universal). I loaded the PG581MG.zip onto my SD card. When I follow the steps to get the new firmware via bootloader, it continues to give me No Image! errors on the screen.
What am I doing wrong? Here are some details:
ROM: Android Revolution HD 1.2.2
Android version: 4.0.3
Sense: 3.6
Firmware: 3.32.531.14
Kernel: 3.0.16 -v1.5.0 Sebastian FM#1
CDI: T-Mob010
MID: PG5810000
Am I having some sort of Fastboot issue? Any help would be appreciated.
David
How I updated my firmware was placed the pg58img file at sd card root. Then removed battery, put battery back in press power and volume down. The device then asked to update, press power for yes . After update DELETE the pg58img file and you're done. Hope this helps.
Sent from HTC sensation, soff, 3.33 firmware, viper Rom, sense 4.1,kernel- pyd X stable 3.1 , Mugen 3800 mah battery. Please press thanks if I helped in anyway.
Thanks!

Thanks! I'll give it a try and see if it works.
connect the phone from bootloader/fastboot to PC (phone reads FASTBOOT USB after this )
copy the PG58IMG.zip file to the adb/fastboot folder of PC
then open command prompt from the adb/fastboot folder
(if windows hold shift + right click -> open command window here )
then first check the connect of the phone to pc via typing this command
fastboot devices
it should show your device ...if it is showing then continue
type these commands one by one ..as follows
fastboot erase cache (if failed ignore it )
fastboot oem rebootRUU (black screen with silver HTC )
fastboot flash zip PG58IMG.zip (this is tha actual flashing process ..don't cancel it in the middle ..its highly dangerous to do so ..and ignore the green progress bar )
fastboot reboot-bootloader (reboots to bootloader after its complete)
Tried - didn't work
I removed the battery and tried what you suggested, but it didn't work. It continues to say "No Image!" over and over again.
Any other suggestions?
i believe i posted a solution

The Rom stop starting sometimes on the HTC logo sometimes on the Beats logo, its not a boot loop with restarting just stopping.

Now when I trying to open the recovery I just have a black screen.
Only if I select Factory reset in the Hboot it open the recovery menu.

EDIT:
I try to flash difirent roms Elegancia & ARH

2 options left
flash a different recovery or use a ruu.exe to return to stock(if you are on S-OFF don't worry you won't lose it)
I have flashed the TWRP recovery but I have the same problem, I can get in to the recovery but it crash if I try to copy the rom file.

you shouldn't had any problems with supercid
with supercid you can use any ruu.exe
try again or use the manual method
in the same thread on how to do it

RUU won't finish installing HTC Sense on my S4

Hello I have issue with my HTC One S z520e (S4) S-ON.
I had installed TwistedKat ROM on my phone and I decided to come back to HTC Sense. I had boot phone into bootloader mode, locked my bootloader with fastboot oem lock command, then erased cache with fastboot erase cache command then I had started RUU (RUU_Ville_U_JB_45_S_HTC_Europe_3.16.401.8_Radio_1.11.50.05.28_10.27.50.08L_release_301814_signed_2_4) and while this RUU was running, it gives me 131 error Is this correct RUU for my HTC__032 CID?
Now phone won't boot system, recovery not working, only fastboot mode working What can I do to fix my phone?

OK, I had unlocked bootloader, went back to stock recovery, clear storage in fastboot mode, install TWRP recovery and install MaximusHD ROM on my phone and it's working fine right now, but I still would like to install oryginal firmware using RUU because I don't need root, custom roms etc.
Is my CID HTC__032 bad for this RUU version? I thought that RUU_Ville_U_JB_45_S_HTC_Europe_3.16.401.8_Radio_1.11.50.05.28_10.27.50.08L_release_301814_signed_2_4 RUU will be OK...
Can You tell me which RUU from this site should I download for my phone? Maybe I should do something else to be able to install stock HTC Sense on my One S (S4)?
