Thought I would post a quick poll to see what xda members found to be the most attractive options for the HTC One A9:
The phone is regionally configured with either 2Gb ram/ 16Gb of Storage or 3Gb ram/32 Gb of Storage both configurations are expandable with micro SD. The phone will be offered in six different colors and 5 different carrier options unlocked/At&T/T-mobile/Sprint and a International version.

You're supposed to be able to check your order by entering the order# provided in the HTC confirmation email in conjunction with your password. However the confirmation email does not contain a temporary password and my regular HTC account password does not work with the provided order number.
In general HTC has been quoted as saying that shipments would begin in Early November, but I'm not sure that means the 1st week of November or generally 1st half of November. I will post once I receive a shipping confirmation email and would encourage others to do the same. Hopefully we'll know shortly!

November 6th is said to be the day shipping starts. I guess they got this off a tweet from a HTC exec.

Unlocked carbon grey. The garnet is too dark. I like the old red. I'll miss the speakers. I've been looking for the smallest, quality speakers I can find for times. I'm excited about the 1A output of the audio. The single speaker should at least be loud. I'm worried about the battery, but I'm pretty sure that htc wouldn't let this out if it was as useless as it sounds.

Not as worried about the battery with the quick charge 2.0 / 3.0 support. Can charge a phone that is almost dead to 80 or 90 in 20 to 30 minutes. Easy to do, they have quick charge chargers for cars now.

The Sprint model is the only one I heard a definitive date for (at least in Stores) Friday November 6th, I wonder if the pre-order for the Sprint model will go out before or after it becomes available in Stores next week.

Hopefully they'll carry the white flip case. I get a discount on accessories with ATT. Otherwise, it's to the internet I go. Always liked the storm trooper look a black and white phone gives.

What they mean is, you have to buy the phone between October 30 and November 15.

I'm afraid they may not mean the same thing. My luck I would go buy it today and miss out on the goodies because it was purchased the 27th and not the 30th when the promotion begins (as stated in fine print). Even though I want to jump on it right now, I'm going to wait until Friday.
after you buy your device you have to go to the LG website to get the promo. The promo is not available on their website until tomorrow

there was no indication during the order process of a date. rumors are though AT&T will have them around Nov. 6th. so that's the best guess.
For the Desire EYE, HTC shipped on the day they were available in store...so we might get ours a few days later. For $120 less though...

Watched several unboxing videos for what appeared to be the retail version of the HTC One a9, the box included the phone, a standard charger (not fast charge compatible), a micro-usb cable, a sim ejection tool, a pair of HTC ear buds and documentation, that's about it!

Well, with no price being given till now, I expect this to be 35k+
Has not been cheaper than $499(+$25 tax) =Rs.34,650 without pre-order in US and UK prices are even higher. I think it won't be cheaper than 35k even though HTC would do some penetration price cut, due to the high tax and customs in India. Also, during the press meet HTC expressed its intention to introduce new low price series in India to support HTC's growth. That indicates this phone is not going to be cheaper
Safe to say 40k+ then, fingers crossed.

Hey I checked import data on Zauba and it says 22,556 for single unit, so maybe they might end up pricing it below 30k I believe

Provided they include the earphones too! In US, the package came without earphone, luckily I got $100 store credit for patiently waiting on the pre-order and bought all the accessories (more than just a headset). Otherwise, it is something like an incomplete package
but the phones in US come with Uh-Oh protection and Play Music subscription, and those won't be available here, so they could have priced it more competitively, just a thought

I saw the registration page and they are only having 2 color variants available now and initially only 2500 units will be made available
HTC seems very cautious in releasing it's inventory/ or even keeping an inventory.. Guess their current financial state is dictating that.
for me deep garnet is the most interesting model color wise but sad that they haven't made it available here

Just over 2 days, battery life is holding well. Matches my E8 more or less for my usage pattern. Using the camera or an app like Snapchat drains it a bit faster. But nothing much. Also, the phone charges really quick, 0-100% in about 110 mins with the supplied 1.5A charger. That makes it really amazing.
I'll try posting some pics later.

Anyone else do a preorder for the LGv20? I ordered one through Avant and noticed the one other person who preordered was also coming from a note 7.
I'll be picking my unit up October 31. Fortunately within the refund window of my note 7
I'm thinking of preordering one. I hear the dual sim version that we will get also has fm radio enabled. Not to mention the free extra batt and 200sd card. Does the B&O headphone come with it?
According to the sales person I talked to, it comes with both the free battery and b and o headphones. Wasn't able to ask about the FM radio. Avant in greenbelt has a display unit that you can play with so you can go check that out. I don't know if other branches will have display units...I only went and preordered in avant. No LG store in Makati..
Update. I went back to the store I ordered the unit from and talked w the sales person there. Seems LG Philippines didn't think they would need that many sd cards that they bundled with the pre order. All preorders from last Saturday onwards will have the sdcards to follow because they didn't order enough.
Heard the avant Makati branch has around 35 pre ordered units while the mega mall preorders reached more than a thousand already. No idea about other pre order stores.
Does Avant Makati have enough SDs? I am planning to preorder on the 28th.

Most of the v20 sales came from ex note 7 users. So Samsung really dropped the ball here. Funny how they asked what was our old unit when we did the pre order. Did they always use to do that? Or just now? To see if the note buyers move to them?

Yes, both sim supports LTE, but not at the same time, the B&O IEM are not the H3, they are much cheaper than the H3, and much rounder, probably give you a better fit, cound be made by LG with B&O logo, could be wrong, but the built quality is considered good.
I just got mine today from cmk. It came this morning and was supposed to come on the 31st but they allowed me to pick it up today. They didn't predict so many pre orders so I have to get the 200gb SD card a week from now. It comes with an extra battery and headphones but no extra battery cradle. For those who have it, does the light breed on the upper left? Other than that it's perfect!

No grain of salt needed. I was the one who made additional posts in that thread that you seemed to doubt. There is no bloatware on the AT&T model, however if it will load 3 apps when booted with an AT&T SIM card: MyAT&T, AT&T TV, and Call Protect. All three of those are NOT system apps and can easily be uninstalled.
Also, the AT&T model is SIM locked for both regular SIM and eSIM, does support DSDS out of the box, and has a locked bootloader.

Same here. I didn't see that option at check out either. it hasn't been shipped yet, so in theory it should be possible to upgrade the shipping, but I have no clue how. Please share with us if you figure out how to, if that is the route you intend to go. BTW, 128XL Oh so orange, ordered Oct15 due Oct31/Nov1

I'm back in the Pixel Pre-Order thread!!!! ?? more $$ out my wallet lol. I ordered the Unlocked 128GB 4XL Panda unlocked through Google which will be on my T-Mobile account (no bloat). I had the 1st Pixel XL & (currently) 2XL (skipped the 3 XL) and decided to get the 4 XL... Estimated delivery date of Oct 30th-31st.
Debating what I will do with the $100 credit when I get it (wish the pixel buds were out... Maybe I'll finally get the nest doorbell).
Originally had a pre-order through the Google Store for a Panda 4 XL 128GB unlocked with expedited shipping and estimated delivery date of 24-25.
Decided to cancel that and order through Best Buy instead with a store pick up date of the 24th because I was able to use my 6% Elite Plus rewards, 3% Rakuten rewards, and some saved up Best Buy rewards.
Much better for me because then if I get a bad QC phone, which hopefully won't be the case now that Foxconn makes them, I can just exchange at Best Buy, without stressing about Google's choice of carrier messing things up.

I see lots of people complaining about this and that thing and how it should be different on the pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL - I see the same kind of comments on virtually all "Pre-Orders" I have done - Samsung in particular - but at the end of the day, it is what it is - we can choose to buy or not - and frankly, I choose to buy. The Pixel 4XL looks like it is going to be a simply awesome phone - the camera (which is one of the main reasons I am getting it) looks amazing. Could it be better ? Sure - but then my paycheck could be bigger too and it's not. So I deal with it and look for the positive.

I ordered my Flame Coral 128 same day as the announcement through Project Fi - I'm absolutely surprised it was available that early, but also happy that it was. But there you go.
Now I'm researching various products as accessories, including cases, charging stands, and more.
