N5X stock wallpaper (pulled from system.img) - Nexus 5X Themes and Apps

Note that this is the real deal - unlike the unofficial N5X wallpaper that was similar but slightly different, this is the 100% official stock wallpaper taken straight from the N5X's system image. You're welcome!
PS: If someone with a Nexus 6P could extract the stock wallpaper from that as well, I would be very grateful. There's no system image for the 6P yet, so we need someone with an actual device to do it! This is how:
Open the /system/framework folder in your file explorer of choice (root will be required to browse the /system folder);
Copy framework-res.apk to your PC, and open it in WinRAR;
You can find the wallpaper inside the archive, it's located in /res/drawable-nodpi-v4/.
Thanks in advance!

Finally, someone do that...
Thanks dude...
edit: no need to be rooted, with Es File Explorer open device directory,
framework, copy framework.res.apk to internal storage, then transfer to PC,
extract (7zip) end pull...

I might be wrong, but is it even possible to open the /system directory in a file explorer without root access?

Yes it's possible, with Es File Exp... Just try...

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction but why didn't you just upload the full resolution wallpaper afterwards?
There you go guys

Woops, I didn't notice that XDA compressed the image. OP edited to include the full image now - thanks for letting me know!

[Bootscreen+welcome screen]Leo

Ok, be gentle. It's my first try at this.
I made a couple of bootscreens and welcome screens based in two wallpapers I found while searching at google.
Hope you like it.
Feel free to comment.
Just put the file leoimg.nbh in the root of the sd card, enter bootloader mode and flash.
For the welcome screen, just copy the file well.png to the windows directory in the device.

I like the first one .
Very beautiful. Maybe you could do some animation with these wp.
Can't get Bootscreen to work.
I'm a newbie, and I followed the instructions
1. copy .nbh file to root of sd-ram directory
2. copy .png file to windows directory
3. go into bootloader
The question I have is do I need to flash hardspl again?
Hey thanks its works great

Could use a point in the right direction please
I have created some welcome screens and boot animations for the HTC HD2. I was wondering if there is a place i should post them where others have theirs or if i should just make my own thread. I dont want to bother anyone or make anyone mad by doing the wrong thing.

a flashable zip using cwm/twrp... whoever that just root the device and dont have cwm/twrp can just unzip the files and copy to system/app folder and make sure the permission are rw-r--r--
can be use by odex/deodex system. odex system need to manually delete the .odex files first
btw. i only test it at 4.2.2 Note 8.0 3G version since that's the Os that i'm running now. and definitely touchwiz a must.

could someone help me finding a solution please ?
Which rom / kernel you got? Stock rom / kernel doesn't have adb root.
If you have a custom recovery, boot into it,.then you can use adb

Yes because that location is /sdcard which is not root. Stock kernel has no root over adb. Means you can only get to non-root locations

Increasing Stylo's volume.

[DISCLAIMER] I use this for my T-mobile LG G Stylo this also works for the MetroPCS variant, I don't know if it'll work for any other variant. therefore I'm not responsible for what happens if you decide to use this, as always please make a backup before proceeding. You also must be rooted in order for this to work.
This is what I use to increase my volume I forgot who was the originator of this file but
HUGE SHOUTOUT TO HIMHIM!!
These are the steps I was told to take :
1. download ---->THIS<----
2. open your file explorer [I use root file explorer] and look for the file you just downloaded "tweak2.AUX.mixer_paths.xml" then copy and paste it into SYSTEM-->ETC
EVERYTHING WILL BE DONE IN THE ETC FOLDER
3. Find the "mixer_paths.xml" file copy the name then rename it "mixer_paths.xml.old"
4. Find the "tweak2.AUX.mixer_paths.xml" file and rename it "mixer_paths.xml" or just paste the text you just copied.
5. After you renamed the file, find it and Change permissions as seen in this screenshot, after that hit "ok"

6. Reboot into recovery and wipe cache and delvik cache.
7. Hope I helped.
You can also combine this with:
Dolby Atmos
download zip and flash it via TWRP]
