Yesterday Huawei uploaded the 4.1 firmware. As a new member XDA doesn't allow me yet to post links, just search the huaweidevice site for y3oo and firmware.
I began looking into the files, but it seems the boot.img is not that easy to unpack:

I read in a spanish forum that you can install Play Store in the Y300-0000.
I test this method yesterday and working on my phone !...
I can uninstall some chineses APK with super manager (phone is root)

Why dont you guys type "Modaco Huawei Ascend Y300"
there SHOULD BE a link that goes Huawei Ascend G510 / Orange Daytona / Y300 - MoDaCo... most probably the first one.. that takes you to the development forums of the phone, its very active and there are a few roms under way already.
But yes, It'll be great to have an XDA forum for this.

Yes we already found those forums (MoDaCo , HTCMania and android-hilfe) , but except MoDaCo where people can speak a little bit of english , the other two need Google Translate for me to understand anything. If we would have a XDA forum this problem would be solved. Besides , there is way more traffic on XDA than those 3 forums so people from there could unite and come here in one big happy family ) Just my 2 cents

I owned gio until I lost it I own y300 for few weeks. So its 10 times better than gio: better camera, screen, cpu also FLASH and HTML5 support, amazing screen. Small amount of ram but usable, great 2000mAh battery (it shows wrong in specifications its really a 2k mAh) low quality back cover...its comfotable but mine was broken also sometimes laggy unlock animation, so need a good custom room Im happy so far but had problems with receiving a call some peopl cant call me

Hey all can some one help me to lacating the TP point? (KCOLO) i cant find it and its not labled. I had an mtk6572 i5c clon from mixeshop (60$). I flashed the worong preloader and now its dead. Ive tried all keys like vol+ vol- power combined with USB plug but my PC dosnt reconized it :/ also i cant pull out the battery. And i dont know how To acsess the meta mode. Here are some pics of the PCB. Ive disambled the conplete phone and the golden points are only on one side of the PCB. Thanks

Russian Master Shifu rua1 has advice to use a 100 ohm to 1K resistor b'cos you wouldn't wanna short the GND directly to the unknown testpoint, it may be a 5 volt supply testpoint...
Fellow xda friend rnovino has an unbrick video which i have also shared at that thread, pay attention to minute 8 onwards & hear out for the USB connect sound when correct testpoint is found... :laugh:
Best of Luck as i've never heard of MT6572 testpoint & hopefully you'll find it then share the info at Master Shifu rua1's thread... :fingers-crossed:

No sorry but a friend told me to press all keys at the same time for abaot a minute Tod acess die metamode but my fake lightning charger is broken soni cant test that. If its working the kuphone should connect for about 3 seconds to the PC. Enough time to flash the right preloader ...?

-Flash_tool
-fashing to the rom
open flash tool
open scarter file
- plug in to the computer
and presss reset butoon and good :laugh:

not possible at the moment.
This have changed A ROM is in development, and can be tested right now! It works quite well in fact, but has a few bugs. https://www.change.org/p/cyanogenmod-official-support-for-honor-6 (scroll down to the news section for an update containing the link to the XDA forum thread).
hello my sony z3 is now running kitkat 4.4.4 and i want CyanogenMod on my z3 i found that there is added a new rom for my phone as you might see here download(.)cyanogenmod(.)org/?device=z3
my device is an d6603 but every time i try to flash this rom on my device it says i got the d6653? how is that possible google store says d6603 and my phone settings says the same so im woundering why i cant get my phone to agree to stay on d6603 insted of becoming d6653 when flashing?

Solved! gangangan2 helped me by saying i should flash my phone using Androplus kernel and then flash over to cm12 worked great! i also should say that my device name changed by witch recovery i used ClockworkMod said this device is leo and Team Win(TWRP) said my phone was D6653 so i guess this fix works for every1?

I had the exact same problem. I flashed Androplus kernel with recovery, and then i got the same error, but D6653 was instead "leo". Then i changed the updating script in the CM12 zip, and it worked. i can upload that version of the zip if you want.
