Can I connect this phone to a TV via HDMI?

I need the answer to this question.

Only via MHL.
No HDMI port.

No you can not connect even if you have MHL! Tested!! So for now no luck!!!

I read somwhere that S3 cable works (11 pin instead of 5 pin)

I confirm ... only with original cable SAMSUMG ... tried one Chinese and does not work

Yeah. But there are 2 types of MHL cables. 5 pin an 11 pin cables. 5 pin can work on older Samsung devices, but 11 pin can only work in SIII. Also 5 pin can't work in SIII.
Now we raise the question, is cable from SIII compatible with this phone?

Well i would buy one to test it if it didnt cost 45$... :/

Im waiting for mine to arrive. But I bought the 11pin china brand.

Last time I bought the 5pin also china brand and it worked for my S2.
So its not about having original Samsung adapter or not as long it is supported.
Anyhow, will confirm this again once the cable arrived

It's an otg cable i think. To connect suitable usb stcks for example.

It is a six inches cable where both ends are micro usb. I think it is for charging other devices as a power bank. BTW what is your model? My model is 3/32 gb.

OTG Y cable

I was wondering if anyone has tried an OTG Y cable with their Shield K1 and it charge the tablet at the same time as using a peripheral. If which one are you using and are there any special hacks or anything needed to get it to work? Thanks in advance.

It is branded "CentBest". Bought for about 8€ IIRC.
