S4 Lollipop (GT-I9506) ?

Samsung Galaxy S4 (GT-I9500) is getting the Lollipop update in Russia,
What’s that you say? Another device getting the Lollipop update? That’s right, yet another Samsung smartphone, the Galaxy S4 LTE-A (GT-I9506), is being updated to the latest version of Android as we write this, a week after the standard Galaxy S4 received the update. What’s notable about the Lollipop update for this device is the fact that it is already available in three different regions (Slovakia, Czech Republic, and Germany), though maybe that’s not so impressive considering the Galaxy S4 LTE-A was never that widely available in the first place.
The update has a common build number for all three countries (I9506XXUDOA6), and is based on Android 5.0.1 like the Lollipop update that has rolled out for other Samsung devices. You can upgrade your Galaxy S4 LTE-A using Kies right now, or wait for the OTA notification to show up. Advanced users can also download the firmware for their respective region from our firmware section and upgrade manually.
You can also keep track of where the Lollipop update has been released for the Galaxy S4 LTE-A through the tracker embedded below, and also check out Android 5.0 in action on the Galaxy S4 in our exclusive hands-on video.

Fun fact about the S4

Fun fact:
The Galaxy S4 is the only phone on which the Google (Play) Edition is actually on and older version of android (5.0) than the stock (touchwiz) version (5.0.1).
The only exception is where carriers have chosen not to update their respective S4 models; i.e. T-Mobile US.
Kudos to Samsung for being the only android manufacturer to accomplish this feat!

Every other Google play edition device is 5.1

Nougat kernel sources released for Exynos-powered Galaxy S7 edge

Samsung released kernel sources for the Exynos-powered Galaxy S7 edge nearly 10 months ago, but with the recent Nougat update rollout for the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, the demand for Nougat mandates a new kernel release for the new operating system update. The same Exynos-powered Galaxy S7 edge, bearing model number SM-G935F, now has new firmware containing Google’s new update with Samsung’s own tweaks included.
As always, these new kernel source releases are designed to help developers take advantage of the new software additions and allow them to create ROMs that the more tech-hungry among us can download onto their handsets. If you want to take advantage of these new kernel sources, feel free to download them through the Open Source Release Center (OSRC) by hitting up the link below.

Don't expect Samsung spends time to build Android 6 or 7 for this old model.
Hi. I´m aware of this. For this reason I´m looking for a stable customized rom for my tablet based on Android 6.0 ou 7.0.
SM-P905M - Update
I'm facing the same issue, looking forward to have an stable version update for my Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 (SM-P905M) based on Android 6.0 or later, anyone aware if there is any available Custom ROM for this device. I'm new into Custom Rom's... Thanks a lot!
I don't understand this rush to update all the time. Every update to this tablet has resulted in some issues which took time to get Samsung to fix. That's why you see the .2 in 5.0.2. That was a fix to get external keyboards to work again.
My tablet runs just fine on 5.0.2 today.
Because this is a great tablet with hardware still modern for the day but hobbled by an increasingly ancient stock OS due to Samsung's ineptitude at caring for its customers.
Security updates??
