(ROM)(AOSP) Team Gummy ROM

GUMMY
Gummy ROM is made for speed, stability and to stay as closely in line with AOSP as possible while still supporting a large amount of devices and giving you all of the features you love. It isn’t slowed down by features you’ll never use nor is it so slim as to be just another AOSP build.
Features:
* New base built from AOSP
* Status Bar Mods
* Theme Manager
* Hardware Key Mod
* Lock Screen Mod
* Many Wallpapers
* Performance Control
* Application Permission Controls
* Carrier Label Options
* Background Style
* Lock clock widget
Instructions for installations:
DO NOT USE TWRP. ONLY THE LATEST CLOCKWORK MOD
1. Download ROM
2. Download Gapps
3. Push to sdcard
4. Reboot Recovery
5. Wipe Data and Cache
6. Install ROM
7. Install Gapps
8. Reboot System
Contributions:
* Thank you to Cyanogenmod for device and hardware repositories. Without this, porting Gummy to QCOM devices would have been nearly impossible.
* Thank you to Google for the best source code.
* androidfilehost.com for hosting our file servers!
*Thank you to rhcp and the other developers at #lg-g2-dev for helping bring this device up to 4.4. It was a group effort.

It actually has features like themes, battery status bar options, AOKP like toggles (scrollable or traditional) and many more options. There are nightlies as well (so it seems).
Ya I am on the latest nightly everything is working great and I was surprised by all the customization options.

Team Vanir is doing nightlies for the M8. Just flashed it... It is awesome.

Are you sure this is for the Verizon HTC one (M8). I didn't see anything pertaining to this device.

Loved Vanir on my Rezound. If I get tired of Sense 6 will definitely give it a go.
My name's Harold and I'm a flashaholic....
Still no reports of bugs or anything.

What do you mean by no device maintainer on XDA? Are these builds just built automatically then? Not too familiar with how these types of ROMS are built for all the various devices.

I've never run Vanir. What makes them separate from the pack, so to speak? I'm intrigued by your enthusiasm for them!

Intrigued.. But I'm flashed out right now. Oo Will have to give this a go in the next few days.

There's just something about the Android Viking boot animation and the heavy metal Android theme that rocks. It's fairly minimalistic, but I think that's a good thing.

Anyone have a some updates on this?

(Question)(PA)

Just want to know if someone is building PA directly from source 5.1 for our beloved hh and can share his builds
At the moment I don't own a computer capable to compile the builds so that's why I'm asking it here ( in g+ .... You know what would happen lol )
Thanks in advance !
Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
Did PA even release anything to 5.1 public repos?

We'd either need a leaked version from Moto or a ported version from the Nexus line right? IF that's possible, I'd assume you could port over a dev release and get it now. Porting is beyond my skill level, though (since I have 0 skill) so I don't know if that'd even be possible.

I'm sure it's possible. It was done with my HTC M8, ported from the M9. If you don't want a custom ROM, then Moto should have an update ready around the same time as the Nexus phones, at least that's what happened last time (Moto even got lollipop before the Nexus 6).
That's one of the reasons I went with this device. Fast updates :good:
In one month after the Nexus release.
Custom roms should be quick in my opinion

Wouldn't a dev just be able to build from source once the 6.0 source is released?

Since we already have CM support, it shouldn't take much longer from when CM adopts Marshmallow.
