Will there ever be a 25W Turbo Car Charger? - X Style (Pure) Accessories

Anyone know if Motorola or third parties will ever offer a 25W Turbo Car Charger? I feel like that's where we need it most.

I don't know if they will. But I do know, that I have the presently available Turbo Car Charger and it works very well. I would not bother to buy a 25w one if they do release one. The present one works great for me.

sorry, only have a 42W charger not the 25w you are looking for. turbo charge indicates in use. haven't pitted charge time against the one that shipped with the motox.

I have been using the Platinum - Quick Charge Car Charger and it seems to work well. The phone is reading it as a quick charging and enabling TurboPower chargings.
Note: This is only available at Best Buy, being that Platinum is a Best Buy company.

Is the difference between the 15W and 25W Turbo Chargers that noticeably different to anyone? To me, it's all fast .

Only reason there rating higher wattage is more device's can be plugged in at same time

Depends how sharp eyed you are I suppose. For me the main reason to have those extra watts is so that the battery can still charge at a good rate while running google maps on the phone while driving. That GPS, screen, GPU and CPU take a good chunk of energy.

I use the Moto 15w car Turbo Charger while running TomTom Go. It uses more battery than any navigation app I have ever used. And I still get a charge moving upward while using it. A regular charger had trouble keeping up with TomTom Go, on my old M7. But I could use Google Maps navigation on the M7 on the car charger just fine.

Cheap fast-charge chargers?

Hi there. I am one of those people that like to have a multitude of chargers around my house. So far all I have are the stock cheap chargers and the fast charge one that comes with the phone. Does anyone know of any relatively cheap chargers for the s6 that use the new fast charging? I've seen the HTC and Samsung ones but they seem to be rather pricy. I'm from Australia, so anything Amazon unfortunately doesn't ship here.
Thanks heaps.
There isn't any other than the official Samsung one. Aukey do a quick charge 2.0 powerbank and there's a QC2.0 car charger available too, both on Amazon though.
unfortunately, fast chargers are still relatively new and aren't very cheap. that said, you can still find some on eBay that are cheaper than the Samsung charger. search for "quick charge 2.0." it is the very same standard that Samsung rebranded as "adaptive fast charging," so devices can be used interchangeably.

Yes, I know what qualcomm quick charge is. I was just confused about what you stated since I did not think Qualcomm makes chargers.
Back to OP, check here for a list of certified chargers with the QC 2.0 tech.
I've have nothing but good experiences with Anker. I'm probably gonna pick this up so I have a charger at the office:

No, quick charge 2.0 is a standard, not a speed. Also, quick charge 2.0 is not available as wireless. That's a different standard again (Qi & Pmat).

the iVoler car charger, I just bought this to try it cause the price was low and the reviews said it was quality made. This charger works exactly as promised. And the 6 foot USB cable is of good quality and really nice. It also fits into my m9 with a nice click, and fits well around my case. I will definitely buy more of these!

They will lead to battery at higher temp.
Mine Charges at approximately 2.5A I observed battery temp reach 43C before charging current was lowered until temperature came back down.
Likely to lead to slightly reduced lifespan .
No concern to me as I typically change phone every six months. Even to owners who change every two years it probably won't be noticeable. Good advice is to charge overnight with normal charger and use fast charger only when needed .

I have the original charger and the rapid charger from the nexus 6 and I can say the nexus 6 charger does charge my phone a lot faster than the HTC provided one.
I'm tempted by the rapid charger 2.0 but I'm not sure, because charging a battery more faster it reduces the battery life. What do you think?

Where to find Moto turbocharger 25w

Ok so my turbo charger 25w that came with my moto x pure got chewed up, I need a replacement, how ever I cannot find that charger anywhere no store online carries it, not even Motorola themselves!! I don't understand this charger came with the phone in the box when I got it, but all they sell Is the 15 w chargers. Why is this charger not findable. Even Motorola said that moto x pure comes with 15 watt charger, does anyone know about this issue and where could I possibly find this charger thanks y'all
Had the same issue and the ZOZO™ [Qualcomm Certified] 24W Quick Fast Charge 2.0 Wall Power Adapter seems to work well enough. I don't want to link to any sites but if you google it the first couple of results should lead you to places selling it for $8.

Go on Amazon search Moto turbo charger it will come as a brick with a cable not attached unlock the stock. Don't worry it's supposed to be like this. Motorola only sells the attached one with the phone itself. The one with the cable attached to the brick breaks to easy. The cable supplied with the unactached one I bought from Amazon is more stable then any cable I've had in the past.

This is only the 15W charger. I know the OP started they were looking for the 25W. Any 25W I found, anywhere, has the cable attached. I imagine this charger wouldn't charge as fast with a lower ampere output.

Two things come to mind. Do you have optimized charging on? Do you have a case on?
Optimized charging only charges up to 80% at night and then learns when you get up. It starts topping off the phone about an hour and a half before your get up
I've noticed just about any case drastically slows down charging. I've messaged in Ampere and gotten close to 5000ma with no case. With a case it's more like 1500ma. Seems to be the design of the charger now than the phone though. Regular wireless chargers don't seem to have that drop off
