Verizon won't take your unlimited data away. That's one of the benefits of buying full retail. You might want to get prepared and either get a sim cutter or a micro/nano sim adapter and a new nano sim card that you can get working in your S3 prior to your X getting here.

Hey, I bought two Nexus 5's, 32GB white and black. However, one of my order shows "Pre-ordered" whilst the other shows "Leaves warehouse by November 5, 2013." Is this cause for concern or have other people received the same status message? Thanks!
I'm guessing this may be some kind of limit placed on order qty. Maybe they will only allow one phone to ship to each buyer at first to control the stock issues, just a guess though.

I ordered both a black and a white 16 GB. The white shows as shipping by Nov 5, the black shows as 'pre-order'. They both were listed as shipping in 1-2 business days when I placed the order.

I suppose this is correct. I got two separate orders for a 32gb white model by accident and they both went through and show pending with the status of leaving the warehouse by 11/5.
Now I am afraid of canceling one of them and the other going into pre-order or something...

Mine is the same.

I bought both a white 16GB and a white 32GB, the 32GB shipped about an hour ago and the 16GB still says "Leaves warehouse by Nov. 5". Luckily the big rush is on the 32GB, so hopefully ill be ready to roll with that one by Monday *crosses fingers*

What we will gain If we will wait:-
i) 256 GB exclusive avenger themed variant, with avenger UI and case
ii) Some avenger collectibles.
What we will loose:-
i) Money . I am getting 1 K discount using amazon cashback from preorder and 2K cashback from SBI card.
So if you decide to wait for avenger edition. You will loose both of these offers (not sure about the amazon cashback. I guess you will still get 1K cashback if your order avengers edition.)
I think its not work loosing 8K (1K amazon + 2K SBI card + 5K extra for avenger edition) just for 256GB because no matter how good the back design it we are going to put a case on it.

Avengers is limited edition OP6. If anyone of you are big fan and collector then no harm to lose 1k voucher benefit, no doubt its worth but when u want in your fan collection. 256 GB storage no one needs when max goes to cloud storage.

It's showing later because you ordered later. Same thing every year. Just minutes difference can make days or weeks difference in delivery. High demand, low supply. You ordered about half hour after they went live on the store. Sneaky ****ers always put phones up in site before presentation is over. So if you're not refreshing store while they are talking about the phones on stream, you get boned by unknowingly waiting longer to order.

I am giving it a pass. The phone design looks cheap, the new glass makes the white and pink versions look like tooth brushes or cheap plastic toys.

Time to give up? Been trying to buy a 1TB for about 6 weeks now, no sign it will ever be in stock again.
Samsung has done this over the past three years. The top tier storage model mostly attracts early adopters then as demand drops off after a few months, they stop making them. I'm sure with supply chain issues, this tactic makes sense. You may have to settle for 512 GB or buy through a third party.
