I noticed that the new version of android will be android 4.4 kitkat!
I had posted thread on which will be next android version but now I knew it is kitkat. Now the thing is to wait and see what new features will it bring forward.

I recently acquired a Note5 and believed some of the "hype" on here about rooting it before realizing that it was just a dream....
In the meantime, I had to get it working again. I managed to find an older firmware (from 2017) which got it working, HOWEVER,
when I checked for updates, it told me I had the newest version, although I knew otherwise. After much searching, and filtering through
COUNTLESS forums that wanted $$$$ to provide the download, I came across this site which blessed me with the LATEST ODIN FLASH!
Just wanted to pass it along since XDA has helped me time and time again and hope this helps the next person:

It hasn't changed. It's still a Developer Preview. Google calls these Beta releases, while OnePlus calls these Developer Previews. Probably so there's no confusion over the Open Beta releases.
