FIX for 1X DATA

-Go to the ThunderBolt's phone dialer. Enter ##778# and hit Send.
-You'll get a pop-up labeled EPST, with the choice to "View Mode" or "Edit Mode." --You want "Edit Mode."
-You'll be asked for a password. It's 000000.
-Now flip down to "Modem Settings," and then choose "Rev. A."
-Change the setting from eHRPD to "Enable," hit OK, then press the Menu button on the phone and tap "Commit Modifications."
This gave me 3G back, hopefully works for others.
gonna try that thanks

Worked for me also
Started seeing nothing but 1xx when I know I've got 3g available. This fixed it. My next question is "why was it not enabled?".
Thanks again.
I'm pretty sure it has to be set to eHRPD if you want to do simultaneous voice and data on 3G.
One of the main advantages of eHRPD is the ability to provide seamless service mobility between HRPD and LTE access networks with a single mobility management protocol. Moreover, with eHRPD, the operator can leverage the benefit of optimized handover – no dropped sessions and reduced handover latency — between LTE and eHRPD.
Do all this steps.
1. I dial ##778#
2.tap edit mode
3.password. is 000000
4.tap on modem settings
5.tap Rev.A
6.Tap on enable
7.Tap on the menu on your phone
8.Tap on Commit modifications
And after you do that your phone should reboot and you should have 3g
THEN AFTER THE REBOOT
Dial *#*#4636#*#*
Okay now scroll to the bottom. the box should say "LTE MODE" I have no 4G service in my area. So I only got. 1x. I changed my radio settings to auto PRL. Its 3G only saves battery. And for. 3G and LTE
Is (CDMA+LTE/EvDo) then after just press the home button then. 1x will disappear then 3G will appear there you go. Ladies and gentlemen

From here choose your band. I recommend WCDMA/GSM Mode Only
I dont have LTE here so I cant confirm it works, but I know it does not stick on reboot.

Yeah, this has already been discussed. All you have to do is dial *#*#4636*#*# and then choose device information and select your preferred network mode. They didn't rat lock this modem which is surprising.

They did as is evidence by dialing *#2263#
Also I have found *#*#4636*#*# not to stick after exiting the screen (could have been just me or a mistake I made)
Edit: seems my *#*#4636*#*# stuck until reboot. Nevermind then. I am still looking to see if I can get this crap to stick on reboot
The method I outlined sticks until reboot. And rat is unlocked until reboot. (Im looking at other options to write the modem so it sticks on reboot, but im blindly playing with it mostly)

Seems problem at "install PrimeHD".
Uninstall it or recover to previous status.
I believe you had backup before you install PrimeHD......
try dialing *#*#4636#*#* in the caller app (normal one) and it should bring up a testing menu.from there go into phone information and scroll to bottom. there should be a network mode drop-down list. pick something like "WCDMA only"

Thanks it worked. But do you know what are the other options for?
I have another solution to the problem myself.
Go to Home-->Press menu button-->Add-->Widgets-->Power Control-->Check the button "2G/3G"(You may uncheck all other buttons,up to you)-->
Scroll down till you see "Choose Network Modes"-->Click the button right below it--> Click on "2G/3G Only/3G+2G"-->Move to top and click OK.
A new widget will now appear on the home. Here you can switch your network modes between 2G or 3G or 2G/3G.
Which options? The SMC check (i think) and others? That is beyond the scope of my knowledge

[Q] Manual 3G Network switch problem

What I am trying to do is have ONLY 3G connection manually, to do this i added a tile in notification bar for 2G to 2G/3G switch, so when i select 2G|3G mode it connects to 3G but after some time it automatically selects 2G (because its 2G|3G, either strong one i guess).
I have also tried selected 3G in network settings, selecting LTE(recommended) also doesn't work.
But I want to be it in 3G mode exclusively even though 2G signal is better.
I have a rooted OPO and can install xposed too, any solution for this will be really helpful !!
Hi
Think you can do this by "dailing" the string *#*#4636#*#* in the dialer app, to bring up the Testing menu. Press "Phone information", then scroll down to "Set prefered network type", there is an option for "WCDMA only".
