Nexus 6 SystemUI
I am providing anyone who is feeling risky to try this on their device. In most cases it has not worked, but on occasion it does. Once it starts working, it will work until you do something to your system. There are occasional SystemUI crashes when the signal is changing, but it restarts itself after a couple of seconds. If you are going to try this, PLEASE BACKUP YOUR PHONE. This is very important in case it fails to work. The problem is that it keeps crashing, so it is very difficult to do anything.
Nexus 6 SystemUI Test
Move the file to /system/priv-app/SystemUI and set permissions.

Woah! I'm planning on installing this tomorrow (quite late right now) but it looks awesome!

Seems Awesome! Is it just .apks or is the ui completely changed? Either way I would love to have this! I think if somehow you can get the notification bar and lockscreen to be similar it would have a very stock feel. Especially with build.prop tweaks to add multi users and softkeys. Keep it up!

It's apk's for the most part, but I've themed the Settings app and some other stuff.
Also, just now I decided to experiment and I just copied over the Nexus 6 SystemUI and it appears this could work.
The only problem is it crashes when I press the volume button because of Samsung's safe volume thing, but I'm definitely going to be looking into debugging it.

Are you testing this on Verizon s5? This is exactly what I've been wanting! Awesome work!

I just downlaoded alliance rom. It kind of ruined the defualt ui. So I think Im going to try yours out. Do you have the navigation bar and lcokscreen on it yet?

How'd you get the Nexus 6 SystemUI working on your device...? For me, the screen is just black

I've been trying to duplicate this and I cannot seem to do it by just copying the apk again. I get a SecurityException. This also happens when replacing the AOSP SystemUI with the default SystemUI. I'm going to try to add it into the zip so it will be there from the start.

So I have head no problems with your rom since installing. Except I noticed I cannot use the dial pad during a call. Like I tried to check my voicemail and it won't register me typing my passcode. It showas it type in. But somehow it doesn't register. I'm not sure what's going on exactly with it. Hope maybe someone might be able to spread some light on a possible solution? thanks!
P.S. get job turning Samsung to AOSP!

I don't think this is a good idea...
When the non-default SystemUI detects a change in the file, it just throws a security exception... Some people do things to their SystemUI. By doing this, you are essentially locking the SystemUI, which I don't think some would like...

This looks awesome... may be giving it a try soon.. thanks

I might have found a fix to the SecurityException error. I'm not a developer, so I can't guarantee this was the right solution but it might be possible to decompile both the Nexus 6's SystemUI.apk and the S5's SystemUI.apk and then put the S5's AndroidManifest.xml (which sets permissions) into the Nexus 6's decompiled SystemUI. After that you can recompile the new one and move it to /system/priv-app and set permissions. I was looking at the file and it lists permissions and actions that (might) break the SystemUI as they have things that aren't in the Nexus 6's SystemUI code. I might be able to get this done and send it soon but I'm having problems decompiling both apks, but if anyone wants to try feel to go ahead.
Edit: Apktool is acting up on WIndows and my Linux VM isn't working so I can't do this. If someone else can, please.

[ROM][2.3.7] LeWa OS (23 MAY 2012)

This rom is based on the Chinese "LeWa" OS for C8650. My modifications are listed below.
All credit goes to Le Frog Technology for the LeWa OS.
http://www.lewaos.com/
LeWa apparently updates every Friday. I'll try to frequently update.

Check out the website to see more: LeWa OS website
Details:
This OS is awesome... It includes data monitoring, power savings, custom and downloadable themes and lockscreens, notifications on the lockscreen, lockscreen animations, pop-up SMS notification window showing the text with the reply box, etc.
Modifications:
Updated kernel to 2.6.35.14 (thanks to jaybob413 for his kernel work)
Edited build.prop to remove unnecessary info and align it with current CM build.prop
Added eri.xml to /data for Sprint
Replaced keyboard with ICS keyboard (matches the theme perfectly)
Added gapps (flashing gapps separately was causing fc)
Working:
Almost everything
Issues:
Music apk fc
Locations for weather are still Chinese (Should be able to fix this. Uses weather.com.cn API)
This OS has been associated with a "privacy issue." LeWa uses Umeng (Umeng.com), which is apparently like Google Analytics (Dolphin browser uses Umeng).
I added umeng to the hosts file, which blocks it from communicating. Privacy fixed.

Lewa Changelog
If you install this version, you will be notified of the next update through the goo-inside.me app
PLEASE READ THE SECOND POST.
All credit goes to the Heroc developers who got the Hero to where it is today.
I think we've got all the Chinese roms covered now
Disclaimer: I'm not responsible for anything.... at all.
Please read!
Go to Settings > Phone > Keypad > Volume keys wake up ON. Otherwise you won't be able to wake the phone. LeWa changed something and it's affecting all the other ports, too.
I added "Spare Parts" so the end button will put the phone to sleep. You need to go to: End button behavior > Go to sleep
To access the app drawer... slide the tray up.
Under the messaging app, go to Message settings > SMS realtime note. This will give you IMO an awesome window popup with the new text and a place to reply without having to close the app you're in.
Themes:
Go to the themes app, or Settings > Themes and swipe to the right to download themes.
MDPI Lockscreen themes that work: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1428940
Put .mtz file on sdcard in: "/sdcard/MIUI/theme"
Status Bar:
The top of the notification pull down is the data monitor. You can go under settings and set your monthly limit and a reminder if so desired.
The button on the top right corner will free memory.
You can slide the toggles at the bottom of the pulldown left and right for more.
Tap on the status bar and it will bring up an apps, home, and back button at the top.
If you find any LeWa themes or lockscreens online, please let me know!!!

Damnit...I just NOW flashed beta1...and you go and update. Slow down..lol
Edit: OK, flashing over with update, but i cannot find the setting to enable end button to lock the screen, it is a pain to have to drag down the notification bar to lock....any insight? So far, looks pretty comparable to DX OS...nice work! Cant wait to get it all setup!

So far so good. Installation went well and looks good. Where do I find themes you have included our what do I need to do see under themes.
Does the MMS fix found here work with the latest version of this ROM? I tried testing it out yesterday with some 2.7.*.* build and it took a really long time to send and then a while later I got a text from 99999999 with a whole bunch of symbols, which I heard is the cause of SMS Split not being enabled but I couldn't find the setting for that under the messenger app.

they may not install correctly (i may have forgotten to add the script)
pull them out of the zip file (/data/system/theme)
dump them into /sdcard/miui/theme
(or just put them on the sdcard and import them one at a time if you arent using root explorer)

Thanks. Another question, do we still need to flash 2.3.23 first and then the new 2.8.10? Or can we install this new version with no hassle? ORRRR do we have to first flash 2.3.23, then 2.7.27, THEN 2.8.10? Haha.
The original post only lists installation directions for 2.7.27 so just making sure on how to install this correctly.

OK, found themes in your zip files and moved to miui/theme. I do not see the one you have posted screens of, which one is it.?
Only thing I noticed is memory usage seems high, always in 468 to 478 in red.
This is from OP "Now with moar Weather widget (look for sexy weather lockscreen in here)" where?
Thanks again for great work and keeping us up to date.:highfive:

According to the "OP" if you are not in 2.7.27 then first flash 2.3.23 boot up, establish internet connection, then flash 2.8.10. If on 2.7.27 then simply flash 2.8.10

[ROM] [XPERIA L] (4.2.2) KitKat AOSP Pureness (K.A.P) 1.4.5 (UPDATE GOOGLE SEARCH TO FIX HOME)
What do I want?
The Honami Z1 look or the AOSP One.
This is the question that eats up every single Xperia L user.
Why not get the best of both?
That's where K.A.P comes along. (Btw, K.A.P is short for KitKat AOSP Pureness)
So now lets know the features:
1. Based on 15.3.A.O.26 Firmware
2. Debloated (Except for the user apps)
3. Deodexed
4. All APKs Zipaligned
5. A lot of Kitkat apps of course (Calendar, Camera, Email, Gallery, Gmail, Hangouts, Keep, KitKat Clock, CM 10.2 Messaging App, Messenger etc.
6. KitKat Home (Of course)
7. Pre-Rooted
8. Super User Mod Installed
9. Busybox 1.21.1 Binaries Installed
10. A mixture of Xperia and AOSP features in the status bar. All Nexus icons. (Wi-fi, Data, Battery and many more)
11. AOSP Lockscreen
12. Transparent Nexus Navigation Bar (But doesn't work with Google Home. Does with Xperia Home)
13. CM Lockscreen Clock.
14. CM Clock Widget
15. Nexus Icon Settings
16. Nexus BootAnimation
17. KitKat Keyboard
18. Kitkat Font
19. KitKat System Sounds
20. You tell me
21. init.d tweaks.
22. build.prop tweaks
23. RAM Tweaks
How to Install:
Sorry guys I couldn't give you a flashable zip. My computer got busted just after I finished making the ROM.
All I was left with was a Nandroid Backup.
I paid a dude 200 taka to upload the Nandroid Backup for me.
But don't worry, It works. I tried it 3 times.
1. Download the zip and extract it.
2. Inside it, you will find a folder called clockworkmod.
3. Copy it and paste it in the root of your Internal SD Card.
4. Fastboot a kernel with CWM (i USED PHANTOM KERNEL V3)
5. Enter CWM
6. Make a Nandroid backup. (In case anything happens)
6. Go to Mounts and Storage.
7. press format/system
8. Go back and go to Backup and restore.
9. Press Restore.
10. Press 1970-01-10.22.10.47
11. Wait.
12. Wipe Data, Cache and Dalvik-Cache.
13. Reboot.
14. Update Google Search to make the app-drawer normal.
15. Your Done. Enjoy the show.

Bro, The nexus buttons are transparent. But with google home it doesn't work. Go to the movies app and you will see that transparency is enabled there. If you download Xperia Home, transparency will be automatically available.
And sorry I couldn't make a flashable zip. Thats cause my PC is busted pretty bad. I used another guys pc to upload this. Next version is coming soon. Many more features will be there. That will be a flashable zip or maybe Aroma Installer. Please press thanks and donate so that I can fix my pc and start development for this device. I also going to make a gaming Rom.

hope OP added on next update... :good:
My review about this ROM:
1)Stock launcher is kinda laggy. Not always, but it has it's moments. Also lacks settings and IMO the 5x5 grill looks bad on our resolution.
FIX:Install kitkat launcher+ from playstore and you'll have same interface, but more smoothness and settings.
2)New camera app has a big issue. The navigation bar is displayed over the camera buttons ( Shot button/Gallery/Switch camera mode ).Also HDR takes photos with bltiz.I can't say if that's a bug or feature, but most likely a bug.
FIX:Luckily we also have the old camera,so use it until next release.
3)The overall UI is is smooth, but it has it's moments when it lags for few seconds. However,I think this is kernel fault.I'm going to flash ThunderZap tomorrow and see if it impreves this.
4)KitKat Clock FC after setting an alarm. However, the alarm isn't canceled. Also,if you set an alarm it will appear in notification bar until you disable it.That's kinda cool.
FIX:If that FC bothers you,use default app.
5)Not all bloatwares are removed.I can still seelay Games,Sony Select,Google+,Messenger+ , but I guess that's just a matter of time
FIX:Use titanium back-up / root explorer to remove them from system/apps.
6)About UI:
A)The icons are changed, but not all.Contact icon is still from Sony for example.
B)The AOSP lockscreen is cool, smooth and works as it should
C)The new Navigation bar is fine, the icons are changed a little.
7)I tested Subway Surfers and it's smooth, same as stock or even a little better (but it might be only placebo effect)
8)I tested Wi-Fi,bluetooth,Play store, etc and all worked normal except the things mentioned above.
What I would like to see in the next update:
-Things from above fixed
-Transparent status bar & navigation bar in KitKat Launcher+
-Full KitKat UI(status bar,icons,etc)
-Maybe include a Kernel like ThunderZap or Phantom kernel by default
-Include some Gravity Box features by default (AOSP toggles(and maybe settings for it in settings app),reboot methods in menu)
That's all I can think about right now.
Overall I prefer this over stock rom.
Congrats and all the best,
Marius.

In my country better to use internet instead of MMS to send pictures, for example. Internet is cheaper than MMS here. Also, not many people use it. So i decided to disable it.
Added list of deleted apps in the second post
New official firmware for I9105. At first I'll make a build for I9105P based on I9105PXXUBMI3 I9105PXWUBML1. Later I'll make it for my device based on new FW.
With all my respect and congrats on your work and development skills I have to say that:
When you developing something, don't develop it JUST FOR YOU or YOUR COUNTRY.
Or if you do post it in android forums only for your country.
Think about it. How I'm gonna use YOUR rom with disabled MMS, because in YOUR country MMS are not cheap. That will never happen.

Or see it like this:
HE develops something HE wants to have. After he did he decides to share with you, because it maybe could be useful. If you don't like you don't need to flash anything, but if the developer likes it how he does it is his decision and not yours, because you only use the stuff he made.

I planned to not disable MMS in build for I9105P. But, you right. I'll get it back in the next build for I9105.
But, as I said earlier, my tasks now are make a build for I9105P and rebuild a rom for I9105 on the latest firmware. More tweaks will be in future.
Added I9105P support. New versions in first message. See features and changelog.
I really liked the tilt effect of samsung's launcher can you make an option in AROMA to enable/disable tilt effect?? It would be great
EDIT: Coming from CM 11. Made a fresh install of your rom for I9105P, it boots till the Samsung's Logo with phone name and after that the screen is black and doesn't want to start up. I even left it 10 minutes and nothing

I'll make it later. About the second. CM11 has another kernel, which is incompatible with stock ROM. I didn't include kernel in ExSlim because I made no changes in it. So, when you flash my ROM, you still have CM11 kernel that's why it doesn't boot. I wrote in first post that you have to be on 4.2.2. So, I think I need to include stock kernel in next build.
Good thing there.

[ROM][G920V] Extreme Syndicate v8 - w/Alliance Framework v1.1 OE2 [7/15/2015]

Welcome to the SYNDICATE!
Extreme Syndicate w/Alliance Framework!
Warning: This ROM is STILL not for the faint of heart! A lot of items have been removed (almost everything.) I have a link posted below to the DRIVE folder with almost every apk removed so you can manually push back what you choose! If you do not know how to push files and set permissions, then look it up or ask in this thread and surely someone can help you!
WARNING 2: This ROM is originally developed on the Edge version of the S6 for Verizon. The ROM should work EXACTLY the same on VZW S6 (straight) as it does on the edge minus the edge features. Edge People should still work however on both devices... With that being said, the build.prop and other information will read the device as being a G925V.. You can manually change this cosmetically or just leave it be since it will not hurt anything!
***Keep in mind, this ROM IS THE LIGHTEST TW ROM based on what it has! If you want the lightest build, flash Extreme Syndicate v5 that comes in at a whopping 481mb in size! This is LIGHTER than any other TW ROM available for the s6 or s6e on ANY variant!***
ROM Features:
-EXTREMELY Debloated
-Based on OE2 Firmware
-Memory leak fix
-Smart Manager
-Rooted + Busybox
-Zipaligned
-V4A
-Deodexed
-ALLIANCE FRAMEWORK V1.1 (note: Anything not working in the Alliance Framework v1.1 will be present with this ROM. Whenever I can port framework v1.2 then I will update the ROM but currently it will not work as it stands and will cause bootloop if you flash v1.2 framework over this ROM or any G925V ROM without any port modifications done.)
Shout Outs:
- Of course you MUST thank @Goldie and @txr33 over in the G925F forums for their awesome work on the Alliance Framework. Without them and their work we would not have alliance settings on EXTREME SYNDICATE or any other ROM for that matter.. I highly suggest you go over there and at least thank them if you have not already!
Original Thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s6-edge/development/framework-alliance-framework-one-stop-t3126638
You can also go to their thread to see what features Alliance Framework v1.1 contains and what known bugs were in v1.1. Please read and search that thread before asking questions or saying something is wrong. Also, since this is a ported version to our device, do not post bugs in their thread, Post Them HERE! It would most likely be an issue with the port. I have had users on v6 testing extensively and have little to no issues reported so far!
ALSO, thank @Trailblazer101 . If it wasn't for him modifying the original Framework v1.1 framework files, we would not have the framework at all! It is with his original modifications that we were able to build upon and provide this to you all. Check out some of his MANY threads and thank him when you see him!
@Trailblazer101, since this technically was ported by you (specifically the "framework" files, I will remove links upon your request. I have not heard anything from you and have waited patiently a week+ for you to post it yourself.) I have obtained permissions from @Goldie and team, and figured it would be OK for me to release it so long as I give credits to everyone involved!
More Shout Outs:
-Chainfire! (SuperSU + Flashfire)
-Rest of Alliance Team
-Idler (Ping Pong Root)
-V4A Team
-Scrosler (Original Update Script)

Damn this is a nice rom, flashed. All these custom actions with alliance framework are amazing.

Nice ROM! I'm loving the customization through alliance framework. Just one problem, I keep getting a notification saying that an unauthorized action has taken place and that I ahold reboot. Is this because Knox was removed? Is it possible to make this notification disappear for good?

Getting the same, it's part of smart manager. I have been trying to figure out a way to get rid of it also.

Since smart manager is just an app that has nothing connected to the system, I'd say uninstall it using titanium backup

Also can anyone confirm that I can change the status bar icons to match stock lollipop's? That might get me to flash this rom

Beautiful ROM! However, I get a notification that my SIM card is not from Verizon Wireless, thus I have no service.

I did a fresh install and it is fixed now! I am unsure what went wrong on the first install. Thanks anyways.

Delete the SecurityLogAgent folder in system/app or freeze the apk with TB. I would delete the folder.

No there were ones showing in the Alliance manager app that you could apply to your toggles and drop down etc.

if theyre not in data/alliance copy the theme zips there and try again.. also if theyre there but not all theming you need to check the boxes to link them to the main theme and enable drop down theming etc. it all works you just have to play with the alliance settings a bit
