Is there a way to make the ICON sizes any smaller? - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge

So, got the S6 Edge and was curious if there is a way to make the icons smaller on the stock launcher. Thanks.

If you hold your finger on the screen, a grid option will be one of the four menus to appear. There are 3 sizing options available.

[Q] How do you edit the today wallpaper?

How do you stretch the today wallpaper in the fuze? I can set it but its tiled, how do I make it centered or stretched to fit the screen?
Ok I figured out the change. I changed the resolution for the pic to 480*640 and it works just fine now. Its stretched to the entire screen.
BUT I have a new problem
I now have task bar showing at the top when I lock my phone. The battery bar, carrier, volume icon, start button etc. How do I get rid of it?
Also how can I change the clock and unlock scroll bar between the top screen and bottom screen?

[Q] Home button takes me to the 3rd screen

Is there a way to configure this? I'd like to set it to the first screen.
actually the center screen
yes u r right. Now how do I set it to #1?
You don't
Sent from my CM7 Supersonic
Isn't the 3rd screen the Home Screen? There are 5 screens in total.
The middle screen is the primary screen. The reason for this is because it is the least distance from all other screens (with a maximum of 2 swipes to any of the 5 screens). There is no way of configuring it in normal honeycomb settings as there is very little reason to other than if you have a background image you want to work well with all your main widgets and launch icons on a specific screen other than the middle one. As for trying something to change it you'd have to wait for ROMs or a launcher replacement with that kind of functionality built in (I am not aware of any with that functionality).
Looks like I will have to swap screens 1 and 3 then Is there a way to select multiple shortcuts and move them in one shot at least?

Ya bit it doesn't allow you to hide dock like ADW Launcher and ADW Launcher is smooth than Go Launcher.

great app this go launcher but themes are a lil buggy
I'm also trying to find out if that menu/settings bar cab be hidden or disabled. Using gestures I can access the settings, so I don't see that menu bar as being necessary.
Yeah, the settings bar is awful and pointless. It must be able to be removed. I've been using GO for over a year on my DHD but if this is the case I won't be any longer.
As said you can access the settings by swiping up, or from the pull down menu (let alone any other options ie icon on screen/dock, gesture on a dock icon etc).
Bug in GO EX? Or user error?
I think I found a bug. Here's how to repeat:
1. create a navigation shortcut on a home screen.
2. create another navigation shortcut on the home screen.
3. Drag #2 shortcut on to #1. Note a folder has been created.
4. create a third navigation shortcut on the home screen.
5. drag #3 shortcut into the folder you created on step 3.
6. note that instead of 3 shortcuts, you now have 2. (sometimes 1). Creating new shortcuts and putting into the folder deletes previous ones.
This a known thing, or am I Doing It Wrong(tm)?
where to change the grid setting for landscape mode ? pls help
Is it possible to change the default app that opens when pressing the 5 dock items - phone, sms, browser, apps, ?
say for browser can i set it so that Opera opens when I open it ?
Another thing, in normal HTC sense, when I went into App drawer, and pressed the setting key, I would have the option to select "Remove app" and in that I can select the "Running" tab and see what services and processes are running.
This running tab seems different from the running tab that is shown when i go to the app drawer using Go Launcher - is it possible to use the Sense "running" tab or set the Go Launcher running tab to show just like the Sense one ?
thanks
Tablet dock scrolling?
I'm running the HD version on my Transformer Infinity with the CROMi-X 4.5 rom. Does the dock scroll so that I can add more items?
Thanks
turnin off transparency
How can i turn off transparency in apps?? i mean for example at stock settings i don't wanna see the wallpaper i do not want transparency in apps!!. or at least how can i change the transparency lvl like in app drawer where i can make the wallpaper darker. if i could turn the wallpaper dark enough in apps like stock settings that would be fine.

I so like the Facebook thumbnail. Oh my :victory:
i think Nova launcher is the best because it's very simple, smooth and stable. it doesn't make the desktop cluttered with lots of unnecessary information.

[Resolved] [Q] ADW EX - How change icon for a Launcher Action

I have ADW EX 1.3.3.8.
In previous versions, you could 'turn on" navigation dots which sat left and right of the dock. If you has 7 screens, and were on the center one, it would show
... dock ...
If you touched the left dots, it would move left one screen and show
.. dock ....
Touch again
. dock .....
I loved this nav facility and used it constantly, but it is gone in recent versions. Now there are Launcher Actions to "Go Previous" and "Go Next" to move screen left and right. You can put these on the left and right ends of the dock for moving the screens.
(But you no longer get the info of how many screens are to the left and right--they are just fixed icons)
Still, I would like to have dots there and have created a 72 x 72 px icon for it. But I cannot figure out how to use this instead of the standard icons for the two functions. I saw a youtube video which showed longpress on an icon to edit it, but that no longer works in my (current) version.
Can anyone tell me how I can "put in" (ATT Galaxy SIII) the icon I created and for it to be used in place of those two standard ADW ones?
Thanks.
SOLVED.
Guess I was too quick. After lots of fumbling, I found the 'edit icon' is now double tap instead of long press. Was able to get them changed to my dots icon.
Still, if anyone knows the ADW author and can influence him, it would be wonderful to get the old system back because it showed, by changing the number of dots, where you were positioned in the screens. It was an excellent system, and it would be terrific to get it back.
Good To Go, another solved issue.

How can I designate a default homescreen on Nova Launcher Prime?

This has been driving me batty for months. I note [email protected] is a senior XDA member so I'm hopeful I'll find a solution here.
I'm running Android 5.0.1 on an HTC One (M8). I've had Nova Prime launcher as default for a couple years and love it, but I cannot find the magic formula for designating my primary homescreen (the one with my clock app and primary app icons--there are two screens to the left; three to the right of this screen) as default. when I tap home twice and get all homescreens in view, there are white house icons above every screen EXCEPT the one I want as default, which shows a black house icon. When I want to go to the homescreen, any of the six may come up when home is tapped.
What I'm trying to do is set my chosen homescreen as default so it pops up whenever I tap home. Not sure if it could be a factor, but I'm also using the Next lockscreen widget as well.
It used to be pretty simple to designate the default homescreen, but either it's become more complicated (or I've gotten stupider)
Any help out there?
Thanks
Go into the home screen overview, then tap and hold the home icon of the screen you want to be your default. That icon should turn white and become the default screen.
Thanks, Scottjb
This is what I find bizarre--what you've suggested only seems to work in reverse: 5 of my homescreen icons are white houses--if I tap and hold on one of those it turns black, however if I tap and hold the black house on the screen I want to designate, absolutely nothing happens. Confused here!
