All the roms of canvas 2 and other MT6577 can be ported to our device.
As my limited internet connection (period) I can’t upload complete roms, so I will upload patches.
All the patches are tested and found working with the version of the roms they are created but they should work with all the future releases of those roms also. In any case any patch is found not working with any future release of any rom, please tell me so I can update that.
Instructions will be same for all roms, if there is anything more or less to be done in any specific case, that will be mentioned below that particular roms topic.
Instructions:-
1. Download latest Canvas 2’s rom from official thread
2. Download particular patch from here
3. Follow instructions from original rom’s thread to flash the rom
4. Flash the patch right after flashing rom
5. Reboot
Got stuck on boot logo, by change?? Do this:-
1. Download latest Canvas 2 rom.
2. Open zip in pc (I use 7zip and winrar)
3. Delete all folders/files except system
4. Drag and drop everything from PATCH.zip to Rom’s.zip
5. Place it in memory card and reboot to recovery.
6. Wipe data/system/cache/ and flash/install newly created zip
7. Reboot, done.

one request though can you make the dialer of this rom to display contacts like in the stock android like while typing the name which will display the contact....i dont know whether i put in the right way...

can i use this patch to port cruzerMod for a110 to my a88
Ty for the ROMs.
Tried both MIUI and lewa roms. Miui uses too much ram. Lewa is good except few fc in browser.
Waiting for more ROMs.
Tried lewa os i think it has very bad ram performance only got 40-50 mb free. Even uc browser crashes many times. Please post a rom which have atleast 170 mb free.

copy it to sd card/clockworkmod/backup
then go to recovery and restore thats it

CAN'T MOUNT SD CARD, is a problem with your Sdcard please check inserting new sdcard.

Hi guys. This is to help those of u who're having problems using the given methods in the posts for status bar n systemui mods, here's a workaround which I discovered after facing several of the same problems.
1. First, download the given zip file.
2. Extract the systemui.apk in the zip to ur sd card.
3. Backup ur rom (just in case) and also backup the status bar app using titanium backup (preferred) or copy SystemUI.apk n SystemUI.odex to any location on ur sdcard.
4. Force close status bar app using default task manager.
5. Use any app like root apps uninstall or titanium backup (preferred) to uninstall the system app status bar or using any root enabled file browser delete /system/app/SystemUI.apk and SystemUI.odex.
6. Download n install luckypatcher.
7. In luckypatcher go to tools>patch to android >select first 3 options only n press apply. The device will reboot.
8. Again open luckypatcher and click on rebuild and install.
9. Select sdcard n browse to the SystemUI.apk u extracted.
10. From the list of options select install as system application. Click yes when asked to reboot.
11. After reboot you'll see ur new status bar.

Well, guys i m new to xda and android rooting n all things...
Coming to the topic
I rooted my karbonn a1+ few days ago and installed a ROM successfully. Every thing was working fine till now...
But suddenly it happened to switch off and now every time i try to switch it on it gets stucked on boot logo for abt 10 sec. followed by black and white screen and it gets turn off.....
I tried installing 3-4 ROMS from above links but no success.....Plzz help me as I am stuck in this fr quite a long n nt able to find a way out.....

I rooted my karbonn a1+ few days ago and installed a ROM successfully. Every thing was working fine till now...
But suddenly it happened to switch off and now every time i try to switch it on it gets stucked on boot logo for abt 10 sec. followed by black and white screen and it gets turn off.....
I tried installing 3-4 ROMS from above links but no success.....Plzz help me as I am stuck in this fr quite a long n nt able to find a way out.....

How did u install a rom? I tried a few times but failed.

are you sure that the links you gave will successfully install cwm on my karbonn a1+ (s/w - 2.0.8 h/w - 1.0) coz I've my phone bricked once after installing cwm (from this thread - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2448943)
I dont wanna brick my phone again so are you sure this will work?

There's no way to do that. I had the A1+ earlier and I had to use vroot to root it. That was the only thing that worked.

IOS and Lolipop ultimate rom not working on micromax canvas spark q380, i tried today ,after installing phone goes to a yellow screen and keeps rebooting i waited for 3 hours but phon won't turn on . Thank god i created full backup all my phone data now restore and again working
i used Teamwork touch recovery to flash IOS rom
procedure followed - boot into recovery>wipe data,system,cache,dalvik cache>then installing rom>again wipe cache,dalvik cache>reboot.
i also tried Lolipop prime but both don't work ,both keeps restarting.
i wants to know is there any gapps for ios rom and where i am going wrong .

I think you don't know how to flash a custom ROM

So Reboot into recovery
Select wipe
Wipe cache , dalvnik cache,data, system, internal storage
Then flash the rom

internal storage ...showing SOME FILE OPERATIONS FAILED after installing custom ROM.
Installed REMIX UI rom in my canvas spark,all fine exept the file manager(internal storage).
internal storage have become read only.
when i create a folder or want to delete some item. ,it just shows an error message. `SOME FILE OPERATIONS FAILED' ,with my ext sd card mounted.
but it works fine if i unmount my ext sd .
also it works fine with ES FILE EXPLORER granted root permission.
IS ANYONE HAVING SAME ISSUE......HELP ME OUT....
ANY SOLUTION!!?!???!!!!!

actually in this rom ur memory card became as phone memory (default C drive), u can any modification like new folder rename delete edit cut copy paste in ur external memory
