Same here.

Same here but with -22000 , any solution ?

I tried it in the morning and still got those errors, but it seems fixed now, at 1 pm I was able to log in in the Desktop app.

Some Here
Here on my Mac have the same problem. I can not login. Give login failure. "Failed to Sing in. -26000 error" Any ideas?

same here, -26000 on windows 8.1 client
without restarting anything, i opened a VPN connection outside my country and retried to sign in, and it worked immediately. while if i disconnect, remove VPN and try to connect i start getting again the failed to sign in error.
does the authentication servers permit access only to selected countries?

Mango Windows Live 'Incorrect Password' Error

I updated my HTC Trophy 7 to windows phone 7.5 (Mango) today, and since then, my Windows Live account won't seem to sync. It gives me the an 'Attention Required' message below the name of my windows live account. After clicking, it says 'Your password is incorrect' and shows the incorrect number of ***** for my password... It reverts to 8 **** every time. After entering my correct password, it syncs for a while before going back to the 'Attention Required' message.
Every time I go to the facebook chat option in the text hub, I get a
"Incorrect Password
Make sure your password is correct. Tap settings to fix it.""
This doesn't fix it.
Any help?
I have the exact same problem. I've tried various online remedies from verifying alternate email addresses to changing my password and logging in again on my phone, etc.
Nothing has worked. It's not a complete dealbreaker here, but it's awfully obnoxious when I go to use the chat functions on my phone.
Anybody have any insight on this?
I am having this same issue now, but only with Windows Live ID. I didn't do a Zune update, but instead used an official Verizon ROM on my Trophy to upgrade to 7.5...
Basically a gloried factory reset. I can buy apps on XBL and on the Market... even though my live account is apparently not working right. ;
*edit*
Well, I logged into my live account and changed the password... and after plugging my new password into my phone: about 20 mins, the problem cleared up. Weirdness. ;

[Q] Outlook Exchange Email Problems

Ok guys so when I go to a website to check my webmail I get a certificate error. It doesnt matter what phone, computer, or tablet I use.
h t t p s ://webmail.pottsvilleschools.org/owa/
I have tried to install the certificate and it works but still get the issue. Problem is I am trying to setup my phone to check my email and it always says there is a certificate error. But on my Ipad or my wifes android it tells me there is also a certificate error the first time I try to sync but from then on it syncs fine. Almost like it ignores there error one I say ok. Why will WP7.5 not ignore this problem? Or at least off a solutions? You guys have any ideas on how I can get this to sync? I know there is an issuse with the certificate not matching the web address. But beyond fixing the actual certificate are there any other options?
Thanks
Same as myself, ipod syncs with exchange no problem, my WP7 wont.
I had this fault and another guy online found the fix for it.
1. Remove the current OWA account from your phone.
2. Install the certificate again.
3. Reboot phone.
4. Add the OWA account again.
That worked for me. Without the reboot it gave the error you have now.

I just tried what you said but I still get the certificate error. Crazy stuff
I had the error the first time. Had to export the certificate from my computer, emailed it to my gmail account, opened it on the phone and then the error went away.
Can't sync contacts though with the OWA Exchange server. Ended up exporting my exchange contacts to a CSV and importing them into Gmail so all my phone numbers show up through that account. It's sloppy but it'll work.
Still get a error
"There is a problem with the certificate for ******. Contact a support person or your service provider.
Error code :80072F0D"
So if this cant be done hwo can I go about geting the certificate fixed? Would the admin know how to do that? Hes not very smart. Mostly lazy. haha
I think your admin or IT should be able to know how or where to go to get this fixed. The other option is to ask if there is an exchange activesync server you can tie into for this email account.

You probarbly need the root certificate of the issuing CA for the phone to recognize the certificate chain. As far as I can see, yours is self-signed, so there is no certificate chain.
Simply importing a copy of the self-signed certificate does not work on your phone (been there). WP7 obviously does not have the certificate stores like Windows, or it puts them in the wrong one.
If you have the knowledge I would advice to go for CACert.org certificates. They are free (your protected systems need renewal every 6 months though), and your good to go when installing the CACert root certificate.

Rooted, Can no longer receive Exchange emails with Email app

Hello,
I just rooted and changed my build.prop file to get Wallet working and it seems since all of that, the default Mail app will no longer connect to my Exchange server. I tried clearing app data to no avail. I downloaded Touchdown to see if it would work, and it connected just fine. I'm an admin on the server if anything needs to be changed in there. Everything else on the phone seems to be working normally.
Error: "Unable to connect to server."
Tried: Result
- Intentionally mistyped credentials: Username/password incorrect.
- Using IP address instead of hostname: SSL certificate error, Continue, Unable to connect to server.
- Using Touchdown: Works fine.
Thanks in advance.
FOR THE GOOGLERS
I ended up having to unroot for an OTA update using this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=32918402&postcount=19
After doing so, email is working fine. I'm reluctant to re-root due to this issue. I'll update this if I ever re-root and it's working.
did you try to make a new account and see if that works?

I did. It gives the same error."Setup could not finish. Unable to connect to server."
Seems like it's common with 4.0.4, but it was working fine before root.
Anyone know where I can find a log for the default email app?

[Q] Can't establish a reliable Connection to the server

Last night i updated Android factory Images for google nexus 5.0

Already done factory reset and multiple restarts of the phone but still no luck.
Anybody help
I am stock, not rooted.

certificate problem, can't browse internet

Hi
I have a freshly rooted DroidX with cyanogenmod ROM. I am trying to use the phone for the first time (no cell contract, via wifi only). So, I have to create a gmail account.
I have entered my wifi info, and the phone indicates it's connected to the internet. Opening gmail and entering a username and password that was previously used gets me an error screen saying the gmail program cannot connect to the internet. When I open a browser and try to connect to a website, I get a message that the site has an invalid certificate. There appears to be no way to bypass this screen using the stock browser in cyanogenmod. A window pops up and says "Security Warning, There are problems with the security certificate for this site". I am given the choice of 'go back', 'view certificate' or 'continue'. If I choose 'view certificate', the screen says "this certificate isn't from a trusted authority'. The certificate is issued to 'smrtpxl.advertising.com'. I get this error no matter which site I try to visit Ebay, google.com, etc all show the same certificate as described above. One of the first things I intend to download after getting registered on gmail is the firefox browser....for now I'm stuck with the one that came with the aftermarket ROM.
I should also say the phone has no sd card. I bought it without the sd card because I will only run a few apps on it and it will never have a cellphone provider (will always be used via wifi). Is it possible the previous owner removed his sd card before shipping the phone to me, which has some data on it that I need to use the phone?
It appears I am missing some security certificates, but I have no idea what to do to begin using the phone.
HELP......................
TY.

Other info
I left out a little info in the original post.
First, I do see the websites in the browser initially, but within a few seconds, the warning message pops up and blocks most of the screen. Nothing I can do will make it go away.
I can also do a google search when typed in the google widget, but clicking on any of the links from the search results makes the dreaded error message pop up.
I sure hope there's something I can do to put this phone into service.
