Welcome!

Welcome to our new WebOS section. Kick back and enjoy.
I have tinkered with the Palm Pixi a while back and it is a genuinely smooth device. I think it utilizes an underrated OS. But as I know XDA - We'll take care of that ^>^
Excellent, I just want to thank you for letting us join the party
Awesome. I've been here at xda off and on for Android stuff. But I'm a WebOS fan and spend most all of my time developing for the WebOS platform. I think it's really going to take off here 'in the coming months.'
webOS at XDA? Awesome!
Just curious, will there be a section for patches? Or is this forum about other things?
new milestone for XDA.
I hope to see more development and mods for my Palm Pre
Thanks!!!!
sweet! WebOS on XDA. i wonder how long before we get WebOS on our HD2s? hmmm... LOL

if WebOS gets ported im so totally switching over. i just think theres going to be one problem. physical keyboard. lol
WebOS on XDA is a nice acknowledgment to this awesome operating system. I loved my Pre Plus because WebOS is solid and imho, smoother and more mature than Android. I absolutely love my Incredible, and all that HTC and the Android development community offer, make it a far better choice right now... but if I could put WebOS on my Incredible I would not hesitate.
Have not been on here since my days with the sprint Htc Vogue.... As a day one Pre- owner, I am really excited to see Webos here at XDA.

Thank you and Goodbye

So hear I am 10 months after I brought this amazing phone, I am planning to upgrade tomorrow with a Galaxy S 2. I must say this phone has been great, a hell of a lot better than my previous phone ( 3Gs ) and I loved the display quality, but the time has come when i require a bigger screened phone and a faster processor. So im writing this just to thank you guys and girls for the opportunity to be in such a great community of enthusiasts and devs. This was my first experience with an Android phone and i must say i enjoyed it that much i have since brought a android tablet an d PMP device. So thank you for the kindness in these forums, and for the great amount of knowledge i have learnt in just under 1 year about Android and the system, I have even tried to port my own ROM (dint go well) lol . So thank you for your understanding and great advice. These forums over the past year (which i visit daily) have been a great place to be. Im proud to say that I have been part of the HTC Desire S community.
Special thanks to :
@proxuser
@Virtuous
@Superkid

I will miss you all ! you guys have made my first Android experience 1000% better .

Cubox a minipc with great spec that could compete with the new Nexus Q

Hi everyone,
I am writing here because as owner of a Cubox (http://www.solid-run.com/) I would love to see CM10 or another android 4.1 based version on it.
This minipc has a really good hardware and I believe a great potential. Unfortunately the company which created it is not doing a good working in developing a stable OS. That's why I thought to post here.
Would the xda community be interested in support this hardware?
I really feel we could be a great competitor to the Nexus Q..if a stable version would be available.
Thank you for your time
Regards
nobody interested in?

Glad news, over at Solid Run forums theres some movement going on.

So there is new hope for this device.
Ive contacted the new head of marketing to get some details on the development support mentioned in the post , pending reply on that.
For now, this topic is subscribed =)
Here is another thread about the cubox i 4 pro.
They really searching for developers.
Perhaps anybody of you can help us.

[PETITION] LG, Please support Camera2 API!

Hi!
As we all know, picture and video quality on AOSP ROMs for LG's flagships leaves a lot to be desired. Camera2 API support would improve camera performance on G2 and G3 (and maybe it would be beneficial for G Pro 2 aswell)!
I know it doesn't mean a lot to you but it would help us, G2 and G3 owners, a lot! So please support us and sign!
Note: This petition is not hosted by me but Giancarlo Viali from G2 Owners Community on G+! I saw it very beneficial to share on XDA Forums!

Thank You! Fingers crossed! :fingers-crossed:

I wish we simply wish we had more developer support for this device id happily donate £100 to a developer if someone would stick with this device and help make it as good as we all know it can be..
but I've came to the conclusion after meny months that its simpley not going to happen not to the scale of the g2 or g3 anyway which I find upsetting,
this is such a underrated phone its unbelievable for the price I personally think this phone is amazing the screen is lovely to use the ui is smooth as butter and over all its simpley a brilliant phone,
But I think if your expecting donations its just not going to happen I would but I want other devs to back this phone up and help but unfortunately development seems dead such a shame for the beast of a phone this is.

Oh oops srry I shouldn't have posted it here. :silly: but I feel you, it's clearly a very good phone by the specs. Sad not many developers aren't interested in it though. If I had the time I'd happily develop for it I'm learning game development though and all my time goes into studies and social life.

Until it's available on all markets, we won't see it any time soon. That's why we have to do it ourselves.
