[MOD] [WIP] DBooster for Sprint Note 4 (Beta 4.1 - 1/31) - Sprint Galaxy Note 4 Themes and Apps

DISCLAIMER: I am not responsible for you and decisions thereafter, and so on (you all know this), I'm not responsible, etc. This is BETA testing for the DBooster for Sprint Note 4 (may or may not work right yet). ALWAYS MAKE BACKUP before anything.
POWER TO THE USER, UNLEASH THE PHONE FROM CARRIER BONDS
Hello all, thread is and will be the DBooster for Sprint variant once up and running, so I'm making a thread once out of beta and ready for flashing. I will allow any and all to beta test (in a non-flashable file, ONLY EXPERIENCED SHOULD ATTEMPT... for now) I will continue to develop for this as I receive feedback from testers and (hopefully) have this finished within few days.
Directions for Quicktile DBooster:
1. Open up SQLite Editor
2. Select the Apps tab -> scroll down to Settings Storage and select
3. Click settings.db
4. Click system
5. Click search icon on top right (easiest method to filter) or scroll through db (harder way)
6. Type "notification" in the Filter Value field and press ok
7. Tap "notification_panel_active_app_list" -> select pencil icon on top to edit
8. In Value field, all enabled toggles are listed. Now, add the word "NetworkBooster" (no spaces or quotation marks) to end of list (make sure to have NO SPACES between entries and semicolons separating each entry)
----> ex. Wifi;MobileData;WifiHotspot;Sound; ....
9. Once you add "NetworkBooster", click save button.
10. Close SQLite editor and reboot/profit
Changelog:
- 12/5: Beta 3 release, same as before
-12/17: status update, been working on it when have time, finals just finishing and will be releasing beta by weekend.
-1/19: Beta 3.1 release (AFH will have as beta 3, just make sure upload data is 1/19)
-1/27: Beta 4 release
-1/31: Beta 4.1 release

Don't quote me exact on this since I don't have phone (was asked to do this). I believe you paste jar in system/ by itself (not final location but will save from possible random reboot, important step). Navigate to system/framework folder, .bak file the sprint services.jar/odex (if there). Then go cut/paste Mod services from /system/ to framework/ folder (DO NOT DELETE sprint services in case obviously). Add quicktile for easier access to turn on (in OP). Reboot and see.

Ok its there how do i add a tile

Sprint did a lot of stupid things with this phone downgrade big time

It's in OP, under add quicktile

Some ROMs may have it, I'm not sure. I'm posting for sprint stock Rom and variants of it if not included basically since I was asked by a member with note 4 for this favor. I'll continue working on it to make it better if users report issues.

I noticed i already have NetworkBooster in the app panel active but this is as far as it gets. Nothing happens when i try a large file.

OK, what ROM are you running? I'm going to make it more stable and hopefully working all around any ROM, always minor hiccups in beta first round haha.

Playstore update . 3.9.16

Hi all heres the latest google playstore
3.9.16
Download: http://beta.androidfilehost.com/?fid=9390135922294521859
Google just started rolling out an updated Google Play Store version 3.9.16 that follows the previous version 3.8.17 from August. Good news, everyone - we've already got our hands on the APK for you to install manually thanks to our loyal tipsters.
What's New
The most notable and immediately apparent new feature is the long overdue ability to remove apps you've previously downloaded from the All Apps list. If you like to try a lot of apps, that list is likely very cluttered. With the new Google Play, you can trim it to your heart's content.
Update #1: You can multi-select by long-pressing any app in the list and then tapping more apps, then delete them all in one go (added 2 new screenshots demonstrating it).
Update #2: The new Play Store now keeps track of your location in lists, including My Apps and All Apps, so when you click into an app and back, it drops you into the same spot. I had variable luck with this, and it didn't seem to work in All Apps at first, but I just reproduced it on both the EVO LTE and the Nexus 7. Brilliant.
Update #3: The notification icon that shows up when you have app updates has changed, and notifications are now expandable. I've added more screenshots showing the differences.
The size of the Play Store APK actually went down, so Google must have trimmed some extra fat. We're still digging through everything
Thanks androidpolice
Finally! I wonder though.. will it decrease app download amounts? Obviously if people remove it, it wasn't something they liked..

What happens if you have the same Google account on 2 devices and have an app on 1 but not the other and you remove the app from the device that doesn't have the app installed?
What happens if you delete a purchased app? Do you have to pay for it again if you want to re-install it later?
working perfect..

Can't answer the first one, but I just uninstalled a paid app to test for you. When I searched afterwards, it shows up as a purchased app, so I think you'll be good on that front.

I'm on paranoid android 2.2 rom on my Nexus 7, I have gapps ending in "26" installed, which I believe are the gapps from August, and installing this gives me an error message "conflicting signatures".....I don't even have the play store under "downloaded" apps like you would normally find it, but it is under the "all" tab. It was suggested that I rename the apk to "phonesky" and copy it to system/apps, I don't even see "phonesky" anywhere in the files, it's not on my Nexus 7. Can someone please help me out of the know what I can do to get this installed? It's so baffling that a simple apk won't install.
I would appreciate any help at all. Thank You.

[10/5/13] [4.2.2] - S-Note3 for Galaxy Note 8.0

Here is the new S-Note 3 from the Note 3 ported to the Galaxy Note 8.0. This is a 99% fully working S-Note. The only major issue is there is no text recognition yet. This zip file does not overwrite your existing S-Note, so you can switch back and forth between the new and old versions. This was tested on Civato's CivZ 3.2 (4.2.2) and will most likely not work on Android 4.1.2.
Special Thanks
This port is primarily based on Arsaw's work http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1997286 with some inspiration from shaji_ka_71 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2449311
Bugs
Not working: Handwriting recognition, PDF import, Maps capture, minor scaling
Working: Everything else
Instructions
Note: If you are coming from Version 1.0, you must perform a full wipe!
1. If upgrading, perform a full wipe.
2. Download zip file and flash from recovery.
3. You're good to go!

Version 1.0: http://www.mediafire.com/download/5sk8n96a020h0c2/SNote3_for_Note_8_0_v1.zip
Changelog
Version 1.2 (10/5/2013)
- Fixed .snb import. You can now import and convert notes from the old SNotes app (go to All Notes View, Press Import, and choose device or online account)
- Improved sync with Evernote and Samsung Account. Notes now show up in Evernote almost immediately after creation!
Version 1.1 (9/29/2013)
- Fixed a bunch of FCs
- 100% working Magic Chart
- Working Clip Art
- Working Recents / All Notes View
- Working Shape and Formula recognition (Text recognition NOT working yet)
- Speed and performance improvements
- Switched to Note3 handwriting recognition in S-pen input mode- should be more accurate now
Version 1.0 (9/22/2013)
- Initial release.
Reserved.
I think that SNote to Note 10.1 2014 will work better because of the screen size...
Can you show a screen shot of what the S-Notes now look like in Evernote on your desktop/laptop?

If you have the new SNote installed and have it set to sync with Evernote, the interface is exactly the same in both apps. You can even edit directly from Evernote.

Quick update- I pulled the apks from the new Note 10.1 and it opens but FC's when trying to create or edit a note. The resolution is fixed in this version but some of the icons are cut off. I'll continue to play with it and keep you updated.

Dang. Guess that'll have to do. But at least we have a new rom. Still a win.

Is there a zip to flash the brightness slider back into the notification pulldown?

Settings crash when I try to enter lock screen settings.

Data
For some weird reason I am connected to the tower but no data at all. Just shows bars. Forcing me to use wifi when I try and log into my google account to get it setup
Edit: Figured out the fix. You need to long press the "Data" button in notification area, Access point names, Click on T-Mobile GPRS, replace the APN link with "fast-t-mobile.com"
Wala! you have internet back (4G-LTE)
Man this ROM is flying thanks so much you have no idea how happy you are making us T-Mobile users!
Lock screen bug..
I am not being picky just fyi. Just trying to help improve this amazing ROM
Lock screen very bright where Nav Bar is hidden until unlock. Don't know if there is a way to fix this, but its there.
I noticed a big performance increase with this stock lock screen when turning screen on while locked. Hardly any delay compared to the lock screen LG installed originally. Might be minor but wow it makes a big difference for me for I like to see whats playing while switching tracks on google play music. Really makes the experience much better for me personally.

[REQ]Volume rocker HOLD to Change track.

The ones in the market are unreliable. Would love to know how to do this on a stock odexed rom.
I paypal handsomely for any dev work on this. Ive seen the mod on a deodexed N5 rom but would like to stay stock.
I have zero problems. just miss this ability. PM me for pricing for your hard work.
tutorials accepted too!!!
You should root. Takes 5 minutes max. Then install xposed and gravitybox. This info is free

Well in an rooted/unlocked. but i use ART. Which in unfortunately xposed doesn't support.
Sent from my Nexus 5 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
I really don't think you can do this reliably without being rooted and using Xposed. You'll need to weigh up whether you value the minor speed increase you get opening apps with ART up against the features Xposed will give you. Honestly, I think it's a no-brainer, as for example, GravityBox does exactly what you want for free.
Where's the deodexed mod? Maybe I can use that to help you.

Cyanogenmod has this feature builtin, i dont use ART though so i cant comment on whether it works in that mode

How much is handsomely??? Jokes aside, this should work if you're using ART since it doesn't use the odex files anyways and it includes the advanced reboot options also. Just flash the zip in recovery

Looks like the latest update to google play music 5.4 N broke your mod you coded for me. was wondering if you could update it for me. I'll gladly pay again for your services. Looks like they added a "play next" to the player and it doesnt recognize the volume hold to change now.
4.4.2 stock ART
You also included the reboot menu which was also very helpful.

I flashed the zip, but it doesn't do anything if i hold down either volume button. Neither have the extended power menu what did i do wrong?

I believe it's configured for ART. Enable that and see if it works. The latest Google play music update seems to have broken the hold volume when screen off to change track feature though.

Not sure what happened. But this morning while connected to my Bluetooth head phones the hold to skip function works fine. Guess it only works when head phones are attached. Good for me

[APP] [4.1+] [UNOFFICIAL] APKMirror web app

So I made an APKMirror app. I couldn't find any app for this website so I thought I will make it myself.
Its just a simple webapp with bottom bar and other additional cool features.
•••Info about app update tracking•••
I saw a lot of requests for app update tracking feature. Although it is possible, its very difficult to do. Apkmirror doesn't have any public API so I would have to do it with HTML parsing and in this case it's pretty difficult. If anyone wants to help me just send me a PM.
Thanks.

Yes, downloads are a problem. The app downloads with the filename APKs. There is nothing to distinguish it. You can rename the file *.apk. Its icon appears and it will install. It would be nice for the file to download with its full name though.

Thank you so much! [emoji106]
Thank you. It works great on OPO CM13.
Perfect app. A long awaiting is over.
Suggestions :
1. Can you add exit button so we can exit easily without having to go back each page again.
2. Make the header/side menu accessible throughout the page within app. The side menu disappears when the page is scrolled down.
Cheers..!! :good:

Excellent app by far... How do I change it so it downloads the app name apk instead of the package name apk?
Thanks

I think that there still some download issues with certain files. some download with the correct name. Some download as "download file" without the apk extension. Rename the file and add the extension and it still works. Just not very convenient.
What's the minimum android version??
It is showing parsing error on jelly bean 4.1.2
