As owners of this device already know, there is no and custom rom for our device, nor proper CWM recovery. I found many guides how to build my own CWM but they are for MTK devices. Ours is Broadcom so I would be grateful if someone would be kind enough to give me some starting point. I tried to build CWM using Dokter Teknos guide but it was failure.
So... anybody smart enough and villing?

Hello, i'm using Spreadtrum (sprd SC8810) chipset based android device. I also rooted my phone successfully using Unlock root. Now i wanna install CWM recovery on my device. But i couldn't understand which methode i follow to install CWM for my device. Lot of time i've searched on google but didn't get perfect solution yet. So please help me any of you who know about this well. One more question, can i use ROM Manager to install CWM on my device in this case & how much safe that process for my device? There have any possibility to brick my device following ROM Manager method? My device model is Symphony Xplorer W15. If you need details about my phone please do google once. Thanks.

First, apologies for asking another "how to flash" , like the various existing threads. I had already hard bricked the same tab once, don't want it to happen again. I was able to get a used motherboard for this tab and got it to work. Currently on 4.2.1, build no. JOP40D.US_epad-10.6.1.31-20130823
I really would like some one who has the same tab as mine, to give me a step by step guide ( or point me to an existing link ) on how to flash recovery ( cwm or twrp, what version, fast-boot method or via rom manager, goo manager? etc ) after unlocking the boot-loader, and then flashing the custom ROM, installing the kernel. Looking to install either Omni ROM or CM11.

Hi, my name is Dion Trevor Castellino. I have just recently rooted my phone and I want to install CWM recovery. However, when I go to ROM Manager, it says there is no custom recovery for my device. Then, it tells me about Clockworkmod 2.x and 3.x+. This has confused me. Please give a full detailed method to install CWM or TWRP recovery on my phone. It would be better if CWM recovery. Here are my phone details.

512 MB RAM out of which 474 is usable.

there is no recovery for your device. Unfortunately not all devices have support out here. You will have to make your own which you can learn to do by visiting XDA University

I think ist better for you to install a custom recovery frist
after that you can make a nandroid backup using the custom recovery...this is important..because you will messed up..it will event android guru messed up their device once a whaile..
after you have the nandroid backup..you can flash any custom ROM for your devices..to find a devices please use the search bar at the top..
after you gain enough knowlage to build a custom ROM you can compile it for your devices..but for starter I highly recommend you to use any custom ROM for your device first

Hello People, i bought a phone (panasonic t_50) to test rooting and all that stuff so that i can be comfortable with everything before trying out on . I've been reading a lot about custom recoveries like twrp and cwm. I googled a lot to find twrp or cwm or any other custom recovery but i can't find even one site offering custom recovery for my device. If any of you know where can i get it then please send me the link.
