i try with rom manager for first step to take back up but i faill its not in list of that program
my second question is i cant update with auto upgrading of tablet and i think is time to pout an there rom but i don t now the correct version.
install cpu-z and see the tablet is root but i don t have reboot (hold on/off button) to in the recover
i not buy tablet,is present and i think is from china.
i wait yours answer!!

Here is a guide to root your phone and you will get your recovery (in this case cwm).

i open my windows 8 device manager & 4 exclaimation marks show up in Lenovo A396
does that mean my phone is not rooted?
if so how to root A396?
my phone android is 2.3.5
kernel 3.10.17
software version A396_S162_140528
hardware version H201

we have the same phone which is lenovo a396 the problem on my phone it will just show the boot animation and it will not turn on , pls.... anyone help me, maybe some of you know where to find the specific fixtool for a396 and usb driver , anyone help.......

I got a solution for flashing Lenovo a396. I tested before, my brother has this exact phone and got stucked on logo. i tried this rom downloaded from Needrom.com and success to flashing without no problem.

Plus :
+ Root
+ Changed the first boot picture to new official Lenovo logo
Install the Rom :
- download all files
- install the drivers
- run the ResearchDownload.exe file
- load .pac file
- click on the play button
- Switch off the phone push the volume down button and connect to PC via factory USB cable
- the ResearchDownload recognize the phone, and start the rom flash
- some min later the ResearchDownload wrote "[Removed] Passed" If you see this, then the rom flash is ready
- remove the battery wait 5 sec and put back the battery. Switch on the phone
- ready

If you want to root Lenovo A396,
1- i suggest you try KINGOROOT via PC.
2- Open the software, you need to go to ENABLE USB DEBUGGING first on the phone.
3- Proceed this method while you computer connecting into the internet.
(You just follow all the instructions on the screen, all drivers automatically downloaded- just sit back and relax):fingers-crossed::laugh:
I have a problem with my Trekstor xintron i7 (ST70408-4 coho). After the last update from Android 5.0 to 5.1 the device is broken. If I switch the xintron on, the boot logos are shown, then I see shortly the Android main screen, then the screen is black but the backlight is still on. The only way to shutdown the device is to press the on/off button 20 sec.
I find the way to the recovery mode and wipe the caches. The result is the same error. In the recovery mode is an option to 'update' the device via ADB.
And here are my problems
I don't know how I can use that (software, drivers etc for ADB)
and
I didn't found a ROM file.
Trekstore said that they didn't have a ROM File. I didn't found a file in the web. One thing I know is, the xintron i7 is the reference board of Intel. So I think if I can get that ROM File I will have a chance to recover the tablet.
So is here someone who can help me.

I have a tablet Trekstor Surftab Wintron 7.0 which standing at the manufacturer specs it is basically the same device of the Trekstor Xintron i 7.0;
The question is: could be possible to mount the Android stock images you posted on the Wintron 7.0? (and vice versa?)

Hello, I am searching for Stock-Rom for trekstor surftab xintron 7 st70408_4 till Android v5.1 or Rom with Android v4.4 or v5.0. Could somebody please help me?
So here's what I did:
My phone got kinda full of things so I wanted to reset it so I did it from the settings on the phone
it succeded but google play wasn't working so I had to mount R/W and blablablabla don't even know how I managed to do it but here's what happened:
My phone got stuck when powering up at ALLVIEW logo and when I try to wipe data/factory reset from CWM it succeds but when I press reboot system now it says I don't have root and the Yes option is replaced with Install Root. At this point whatever I press , either No , Go back or Install Root , it restarts and goes up to the logo.
Tried :
Almost everything , like I downloaded this Rooted Deodexed Primo S2 firmware and put it on my SD card but in the CWM recovery it won't detect it as it seems.
Any ideeas ? I really am in a dillema and I hope I didn't brick my phone. Please help me xda !
oh btw , the phone gets charged , if it matters.

here's what happen, my tablet got slower because of too much apps. Installed by my daughter now, what i did is hard reset it,then after formatting it was successful, now after that it says the device needs to be updated, after it downloaded the update then ask for a reboot, after that it started to install the update, im not doing anything and wait the suddenly it say failed to updated.. After that i rebooted it again, now im stuck on starting screen after the lenovo logo appears... I provided some screenshots... I dont know what to do please help me anyone who is good in this... Any advice and help would be pretty much appreciated..

With my tablet this extacly issue happens but I tried pressing Power OFF and only VOLUME UP !! trigger then a chinese menu appeard. Here it is opposite as to the menu in English, because you use volume up to accept and volumne down to go through different modes - select the only option that contains some letters in English (smth like e MMC...) : this will bring your tablet to the point as if it was recently purchased so you will need to start from setting it up again, but it works again and very smoothly. hope it will help!. Hi everybody, I got a serious problem!I locked myself out of my Medion Tab *sigh* , cause made a new google account especialy for my new device.Poor me aka stupid me, I didn't write down my email address.So now I remenber the Pass(!) but no email and so I can't reboot to Factory recovery (Fast Boot, Device=locked, Secure Boot= enabled).
Pleeeease help me anybody!!
Although I register my device by Medion, there's no help or recovery pack for the brandnew Snapdragon Android 7.1 :angel:
What can I do? Dump it!?
