No one wants to reply because this is an old dead thread - superseded by Helmi's AKU3.5 R4 and, coming in a few days, a new WM6 rom for Apache.

how to rev b…tested on evo 3d, incredible2, epic touch 4g, and evo view…

hi all...its my 1st thread here, i hope its gonna usefull. im sorry if my english bad. And i couldnt insert pic aoutomatic because im new member with 2 post…so u can open the picture on new tab with change the "*" to "." check it..!!!
before starting u must to download software first and install it all:
-HTC DIAG/ samsung driver -DFS 3.3.07 -to view the multicarrier u can use QXDM 3.1.2. 714 -and QPST to connect to QXDM -net. framework 2.0 or newer...
ryt. u just need 10 minute to read this tutor and understand this tutor then 5 minutes to solve ur rev b problem.
1st step connect ur android to computer with diag mode (htc) modem mode (samsung) and debugging on. (samsung must choose on DM tab :samsung2. after that open the DFS connect the port with double click the shown port:

after that click the PROGRAMING tab and choose NAM...click send SPC on ur up left of monitor below the port tab. then read it dun try to fill it first. see all the tab it must to complete readed from ur phone.

gotta DATA tab. then read again (for samsung u must re click the SEND SPC, if not u cannot load parameter from phone). after u read enter ur username and passwor on HDR AN PPP i'm sure its not yet filled, isnt ?. in de MODE menu change HDR SCP force at config from REVA MPFA to REVB MPFA (its completly easy) in the DATA CONFIG and EVDO SCP OPTION mark it all.

I don't understand what this does. If Rev.b is dependent on the data network of the carrier, how would doing anything to our phones benefit from it if it's not running on the back end?

Setelah terbit artikel tentang tutorial Rev.B menggunakan DFS, dan banyaknya yg menginginkan dengan menggunakan QXDM. kini nubee coba menulis tutor Rev.B menggunakan QXDM Professional khusus yang bagi yang tempo hari minta....sekali lagi tutor ini hanya berlaku untuk HH ANDROID yg memang mendukung untuk REV.B yg d topang dan d perkuat oleh chipset MSM6800 snapdragon generasi ke 3 dari qualcomm (bukan QSD apalagi QSC ) contoh : HTC EVO 3D CDMA, EVO VIEW, INCREDIBLE 2, dan DESIGN 4G...tutor ini berlaku untuk smua provider yg sdh menyajikan layanan REV.B seperti FLEXI dan SMARTFREN...Q:yg lain kapan nyusul ye?? A:2 provider ini aja blum menyeluruh jaring REV.B nya cuma d kota2 tertentu...hahahha
yg perlu d siapkan :
-Waktu kurang lebih 10 menit.
-Cemilan/Rokok/Kopi (if need it)
-HTC driver Usb (link nya googling aja sy cuma copy dari om aswan)

langkah2 :
instal smua mulai dari HTC Driver, HTC Diag, QPST, hingga QXDM...setalah terinstal smua sambungkan HH dengan PC/Laptop menggunakan kabel usb dalam posisi usb debugging mode d centang kemudian DIAG mode ##3424 #/call (biasanya harus d ulang diagnya karena kadang2 kluar dr mode diag dengan sendirinya)..
BAKAR ROKOK DULU (bagi yg mrokok)
buka QPST configuration trus add new port, kemudian klik "start client" dan klik "service programing" anda akan d bawa ke jendela phone selection klik ok.

setelah QXDM terbuka klik OPTIONS>COMMUNICATIONS akan muncul jendela pemilihan port..klik target port dan pilihlah port yg sesuai dengan port d mana HH anda terbaca seperti d QPST lalu klik ok!

klik View>Common>NV BROWSER anda akan d bawa ke jendela NV browser...tab category filter pilih DATA dan drag k bawah kursornya hingga sampay ke item 06248 kemudian klik read jika isi status nya sdh menampilkan angka 1 berarti HH anda sdh d perintah untuk menjalankan eHRPD (envolved HIGH RATE PACKET DATA) jika masih terisi angka 0 berarti fitur ini blum d aktifkan,,,eitss jgn lupa write ye......ini merupakan tahapan teknologi setelah MFPA (multi flow packet application) kemudian MFPA/EMPA (enchanted multilink packet application) dan terakhir ialah eHRPD..fitur ini juga sdh terpakai untuk jaringan LTE yg menopang kestabilan data tapi juga tergantung dari kualitas jaringan...ecmiiw yah sy cuma mahasiswa psikologi jadi harap maklum...

nah di kolom inilah segalanya terungkap..sabar minum kopi lagi...pertama2 drag ke bawah hingga ke item 04528 dan seperti d eHRPD tadi kita juga harus berjaga2 agar jika saat eHRPD tdk berfungsi (biasanya saat peralihan d daerah miskin signal dari EV-Do ke 1x) kita juga harus mengaktifkan fitur teknologi sebelumnya yaitu EMPA/MFPA...caranya sama dengan klik read jika sudah terisi dengan angka satu berarti fitur ini sdh di aktif kan jika 0 berarti fitur ini blum d aktifkan...kemudian klik write...

With secondary language dictionary, INDONESIAN: for Rooted Phones
There are two types of people; those who prefer typing, and those who like sliding/gesturing on the keyboard. Quite probably those type 1 persons are not aware of the advantage of sliding, or they do not have the facility to turn their keyboards into something very easy and smooth, particularly those who opt for foreign language dictionary.
I will share mine, an Indonesian dictionary, with words carefully chosen; the result of my years of work. I have gained a lot from XDA and other forums; now is my turn to give back. As this is for Indonesians, I will provide a Indonesian translation below.
INDONESIAN - Ada dua jenis orang; mereka yang memilih mengetik, dan yang memilih sistem geser pada keyboard. Mungkin sekali orang tipe 1 itu tidak sadar akan keuntungan sistem geser, atau mereka tidak punya fasilitas utk memodifikasi keyboardnya sehingga sangat mudah dipakai dan lancar, terutama mereka yang memilih kamus bahasa asing (dalam hal ini Indonesia)
Saya akan berbagi karya saya, kamus bahasa Indonesia, dengan kata-kata yang dipilih secara cermat; hasil kerja saya selama bertahun2. Saya sudah memperoleh banyak keuntungan dari forum XDA dan forum lain; sekarang saatnya saya balik berbagi.

It is clear that Google Keyboard for Android 4 has most advantage over other keyboards for those who choose sliding. This advantage can be further boosted by providing a double dictionary (point #1 above table) that I will give to you. Point #5 can be overcome by using the wonderful Shaftamle’s keyboard (see below) that he modified from Google Keyboard so as to be able to be installed as normal application. So, of all the 7 points I describe above, only #6, arrows, that is missing from the keyboard. Shame to Google engineers who does not seem to notice the importance of arrows in keyboards. Also for (1) making unacceptable changes in Lollipop keyboard that causes it not to recognize previous version’s personal dictionary, and (2) eliminating one of the most important features, that is point #4.
INDONESIAN - Jelaslah bahwa Google Keyboard untuk Android 4 punya banyak kelebihan dibanding keyboard lain bagi mereka yg suka sliding. Keunggulan ini dapat ditingkatkan lagi dengan menyediakan kamus dwibahasa (butir #1 di tabel atas) yang akan saya sediakan bagi Anda. Butir #5 dapat diatasi dengan memakai keyboard Shatamle yang mengagumkan itu (lihat bawah), yang dimodifikasinya dari Google Keybboard sehingga dapat di-install sbg aplikasi normal. Jadi, dari semua 7 butir di atas, hanya butir #6, panah, yang tidak ada pada keyboard. Sungguh memalukan, ahli IT Google tampaknya tidak sadar akan pentingnya keberadaan “panah” pada keyboard. Dia juga (1) membuat perubahan yang tidak dapat diterima pada keyboard Lollipop yang menyebabkannya tidak mengenal kamus pribadi dari versi sebelumnya, dan (2) menghapus salah satu fasilitas terpenting, yakni butir #4.

What do I mean by “Show expansion in ONE stroke” in point #4? It mean, I slide over the keyboard, and suddenly the expanded word or sentence is shown in the text. I do not have to choose it again from the list above the keyboard as the case in Lollipop keyboard (in Redmi Note 2) or SlideIt. This saves hundreds of typing (or choosing) each day. What if one gets the wrong sentence? With one back-space, the whole sentence will be deleted. Easy…

Principles:
The Google personal dictionary is kept under User Dictionary application and not LatinIME.apk or Google keyboard.apk
The file name of the user dictionary is userdict.db.
This is a SQL database that can be opened by most SQL database editors. It can be send to PC, and easily modified there.
Prinsip:
Kamus pribadi Google disimpan oleh aplikasi User Dictionary dan bukan LatinIME.apk atau Google keyboard.apk
Nama file dari kamus pribadi (bahasa Indonesia) itu adalah userdict.db.
Ini adalah SQL database yang dapat dibuka oleh kebanyakan editor SQL database. Dia dapat ditransfer ke PC, dan dengan mudah dimodifikasi di situ.

Download Shaftamle Lollipop+123+keyboard.apk (Version 1.1) (https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95855108297850885). You can choose other themes if you wish.
Download SQL Debugger from Google Play
Download userdict.db from here (https://drive.google.com/open?id=0ByRj7PCj9eX8LTlaeUwwSVNubUE).
If you intent to make extensive modification to the user dictionary, download SQLite editor to the PC; most easily, use Portable Apps (http://portableapps.com/apps/development/sqlite_database_browser_portable). If not, don’t download.

Installation
Install Shaftamle keyboard.apk normally
Put the userdict.db in Sdcard and remember its location (e.g. I choose sdcard1)
Install SQL Debugger on phone
Open SQL Debugger --> App --> User Dictionary --> userdict.db. This will be displayed. Click that.
(Remember, the old userdict.db will be erased and overwritten! Backup with Titanium if you will.)
Choose “Restore from File”.
Browse and find the downloaded userdict.db. Click, and …
Done… You have a Google keyboard with 123 number row above plus double language dictionary.

How to modify shortcuts:
Any word or letter combination can be used as shortcut, for instance for “President Obama” you can use “ APQKH” for the shortcut, but will you remember that?
Use shortcuts that you quite probably will remember (certainly you can not remember ALL of them).
“PRESO” might work, but may be complicated by other similar shortcuts. I guess “PRESOB” would be better. Just try and try until you can find a shortcut that work most of the time.
Choose neighboring letters if you can, or letters that are in line with the finger stroke
If a shortcut fail you 50% of the time, you may want to change that shortcut. 80% success rate should be the target (i.e. the gesture fails only one in five attempts).
Cara ubah shortcut:
Setiap kata atau kombinasi huruf dapat dipakai sbg shortcut, misalnya untuk “President Obama” dapat dipakai “APQKH” untuk shortcut, tapi apa Anda akan ingat?
Gunakan shortcut yang mungkin sekali akan Anda ingat (pasti Anda tidak bisa ingat SEMUA).

bro ada dict yang lebih simple ga? Banyak kata yg ane ketik akhir nya yg keluar kata2 singkatan seperti ABC, ABG, AC, OMZ, TT, UMR, dan banyak lg yg sebetulnya menurut ane ga perlu di tambah ke dict, (lha wong cuma 2-3 kata), kalimat2 kek gitu mungkin lebih baik user sendiri yg menambahkan sesuai daily use mereka, sorry master IMO ?

You must delete the unwanted words yourself.
Use SQLite Debugger
Export the dictionary to SDCard, and then to PC
Open using SQLite Database Browser, edit and save.
Import the edited dictionary.
Done...

Ahh alright, already remove some of them through Sqlite debugger, the problem is too much unwanted word, also unwanted shortcut that need to edit and remove. Might I need to edit it using my desktop.

Pindah ke kaskus aja deh. Sudah ane pindah. Search aja google keyboard tetap yang terbaik

Yes. It does work with marshmallow. But soon it will be replaced by the original revised Google keyboard named Gboard.... It will have all the facilities of Shaftamlee's keyboard, but not now. At present it is still in developmrnt stage and shortcuts are not handled well enough. I am still using the old keyboard.

Which ROM did you use to flash your unit?
And why did you flash your unit if you don't even know what kind of unit you have?
And if this is the only information you have for us, you will never succeed.
Your first images show your screen is a MIPI screen. Did you use a MIPI firmware?
What does your reseller tell you? Can he give you a new firmware?
