Bluetooth Tethering Manager - Galaxy Tab 4 Themes and Apps

Hi,
My new Tab 4 arrived yesterday. For the ones that use BT tethering with an Android phone i can recommend this app:

It's small, free and very simple to set up. You even see signal strength on de tablet.

[Q] Can't use bluetooth & Wifi tethering at once?

I took a 12 hour road trip last week and I had just finished installing my setup to dock and un-dock my Galaxy Tab 7" into my dash for MP3's and GPS nav, now I only have a 1GB plan so I wanted to use my phone's internet for the drive however I could not get the tablet to connect, eventually I figured out that it was related to bluetooth & wifi tether at once, whichever one I try to connect 2nd won't work, so if the phone is connected to my headunit for hands free then I can't connect to wifi tether and if I have the tablet connected to tether first the bluetooth won't connect, does anyone know what would cause that and if there's a way to fix it? I am used the stock ROM rooted.

Internet without WIFI on Transformer

After struggling for a couple of days with this , I gave up on getting the wifi to work on my TF101 B4O.
I found a run around to get internet on the tablet, albeit very slow internet.
If you have an android smart phone you can actually tether your internet connection through Bluetooth!
I am not sure if you can do it with other phones but definitely through android using a nifty little program called Bluetooth auto tethering.
Using either your mobile 3g/4g connection or whichever wifi your phone is connected to.
I'm excited I can still use internet on the tablet, and it is not rendered almost useless.
Hopefully this helps all who are struggling with no wifi connectivity on their TF101 and are out of warranty and do not want to pay to fix their tablet (like me)
God Bless! :good::victory::victory::victory::victory:
I can tether to my iPhone using bluetooth, no 3rd party app required.
First, pair the two
Then tap the 3 sliders to the right of the BT pairing and tick the "Use for internet" box.
Profit!

If you're using an android phone you can set up your phone as a wifi hotspot. Settings/more/mobile network sharing. Not sure if your phone has to be rooted to do this.

Most of the time this feature is turned off by your carrier. You usually have to pay extra. But try wifi tether, barnacle from Google play there are some like pda that do not require root . good luck
Nice and easy to share celluar internet with your tablet. If you can't on your original, there is a few apps to help out with that on the play store. I perfer to use bluetooth to share the data, since it uses less battery power.
If you can't buy a Wifi/Bluetooth tethering app on your phone, you probably can on your tablet, and use a root file explorer to transfer the file from your tablet and install it on your phone. Just don't share that file with anyone else. You'll need to have your google play account on both devices, but it does work. Most Bluetooth tethering apps this way require a client and server, and don't work quite so well.
The second way you can go about it is more complex if your Celluar carrier has tethering turned off. Flash a non-tethering-blocked rom onto your phone (CyanogenMod works) and then just use the built in tethering. Bluetooth tethering this way works wonderfully.
And for both methods, might look into Tasker - an automation utility that can help set up connections when conditions are met.
But that is roughly your two options if your carrier has tethering blocked. Find an App or Flash your phone.
Good luck

[Q] N9599T bluetooth & mobile internet issues

Hi there
I have just taken delivery of a (Star, I think) N9599T - the 1.5ghz MTK MT6589T CPU version..
Overall, I think it's a great phone but I have a couple of issues:
Bluetooth: Although it will pair with my car (BMW E46) all I can hear is white noise (like the old school when a tv channel went off air or wasn't tuned in sound) when I make a call.
Auto mobile internet connection: When I go out of wifi range the phone does not automatically switch to mobile internet. I have to switch 3G to sim 2 and then back to Sim 1 before the APN kicks in and the phone hooks up to my mobile data provider.
The phone came pre-rooted and is running Android 4.2.1.
Has anyone else had similar issues or do you have any advise on how to fix them?
Thanks..

Looking for android application

Hi All
i'm looking for a app with which i can use one android phone to control another android phone(with screenshare and touches are transfered to the controled phone). the one which meets almost 100% of my requirements is airdroid, but it requires internet and paid version for longer usage.
is there such app which wont require internet? maybe with wifi hotspot(without internet) and connect with second phone to it? is there such alternative with bluetooth?
Thanks!
