Yes you can. I can install every S6310 rom on my S6310N. I might miss out some functional(t)itty. But I havent noticed anything yet. More importantly- Wifi and SIM is working.

hello all,
ı have a samsung galaxy tab 2 7.0 3G (3105) which is same as (3100). includes 3g connection and sms messaging but phone calls via sim card is not in use because of limitation. ı got my device in turkey and probably this problem is special for my country ı can do all with my tab except phone calls and ı am looking for a solution. is there any rooting or hack solusion for my problem ? ı searched in forum but no result.
any help is appreciated

Could be locked out in your software. I'd suggest rooting and flashing either a custom ROM, or not rooting and simply flashing a stock jelly bean ROM from Sam mobile, or checking the development pages.
Try one of the stock ROM first and flash through Odin. I did this using the Taiwan ROM and it was great.
Have since moved to CM10.1 as I wanted stock jelly bean 4.2.1

There is an option in the app to disable the security fix - this will fix the camera. However while disabled it is vulnerable.

Thanks alot for your reply... I did unroot and factory reset yesterday.. but the camera is still failed.. where can i find security fix..? I had reinstall the app but cant root.. how i have to disible security fix.. help me..t hx
if you upgrade to 4.1.2 it should fix camera and close the exploit

I had the same problem. I went to Super SU then there was a option update supef su binary.
Then my whole system switched off and rebooted. Then camera started working?
My samsung galaxy s3 neo showing error camera failed after rooting with kingroot and voice recorder is also not working properly and when I installed flashlight app a message pop up your phone flashlight is being used by another app so only screen brightness will increase.... That is odd. I've never seen that before. Did you take the OTA recently or did the phone come with NE1?

NE1 is the baseband under about phone. I truly have no idea why that menu comes up

Could be a software or hardware issue. I'm truly not sure what the problem is

This menu is called "Factory Mode." You need root access to remove the popup, watch this youtube video and learn.
Edit: Obtain root access using TowelRoot then use a file explorer that has root access to perform this function. I suggest ES File Explorer.

Very likely not going to happen lost support on everything cwm recovery, cm ROM, and pretty much MOAR ROM.
As far as I know by reading on this forum, gear S2 will not connect to any rooted phone because of Android pay. Is this true? Can you confirm that information, please?
I want to root my Huawei media pad x2 and test some CFW on it, but I'm worry that my gear S2 will not connect to my phone anymore after that!

I can't comment on non-samsung phones, but my note 4 is rooted and the S2 3G connects and works well. Pay is not available yet, so not sure if it'll be a problem once available.
No problems with rooted S4.
S5 rooted connect just fine. had problems with both ASUS watch versions, but this works beautifully. No Samsung pay for S5 so...
no man, i got note 3 european flashed in my rom country and rooted. It's a problem of the gear compatibily, unluckily on my xiaomi mi2 i can't did a connection until I update the gear with the last firmware (mine is Asian)
S2 works fine on rooted stock roms but work needs to be put in if you use cm.
I have an unbranded Dutch rooted Note 3 together with Gear S2 working like a charm! Must say that both the phone and gear are original non-import devices, running original ROM.
On my Galaxy S5 Mini (SM-G800F) on Android 4.4.2 (stock ROM) rooted it works like a charm. Cheers

i had Cm and i had to return to stock to be able to sync with the gear s2.
Do you know any way off pairing with cm ROM ?

Yes, you can connect your watch to your phone - even if it is rooted. The Gear app works just fine on rooted and non-rooted phones.
However, you can't use Samsung Pay, on the phone or the watch, if your phone is rooted.

Rooted S5 won't open Samsung Gear
Hey, gang.
I'm kinda stuck here and searching within XDA (or throughout the web) didn't help.
I just got a S2 Classic, which finds my S5 fine; via., Bluetooth.
However, because my phone is rooted (CM13) it won't open the Samsung Gear app; instead giving me a prompt that my, "operating system on my phone has been modified in an unauthorized way".
Thoughts, anyone?
