I guess. My GS2 is using the RESURRECTION REMIX rom and my kernel is siyah.
Why use ROM Manager? Just download the ROM with zip extension that is available here in XDA then flash it using the recovery. I think it is much simplier and it works best for me.

[Q] Kernels

I just got my device (i9105P) rooted and i was wondering:
What are the advantages and disadvantages of a custom kernel?
Does anyone uses them on stock rom?
Are there any bugs?
What would be the best kernel choice for stock 4.2.2? And how can i go back to stock kernel if i don't like the custom one?

MosheKernel 1.8.6 stock based but radio may not work as some users report
You can go back to stock simply by flashing the stock rom via ODIN
Will flashing the stock rom back wipe my device?

[Q] Using Custom Kernel on Stock N8013

Is it possible or advisable to use a custom kernel on a GT-N8013 running the stock 4.1.2 ROM? It is rooted and has TWRP custom recovery, but the ROM is stock. Is there a downside to doing this?
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Kernels for stock rom 4.2.2

I am new to the world of Android Modding.
For beginners I want to try with Kernels on the stock rom.
What are some of the kernels for p3100 which I can use with stock ROM?
I am satisfied with the battery life but Ram and weak graphics is an issue for me.
Please suggest.

Since you appear rooted already, I will assume you have custom recovery installed. If not get it from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2548257 Then just flash you desired kernel from within.
I have downloaded Slimkat 4.4 for my p3100 but there's not agni kernel for this ROM. What to do?

Sadly, you will have to choose another kernel. Do yourself a favor and try the ones that are for your model and then choose the one that suits your needs.
I didnt find any kernel to run with 4.4. why is that?
Do I really need to flash a kernel to make use of custom ROMS fully"?
Mo you didn't, stock slimkat kernel is good enough
