This is JasmineROM for Verizon Samsung Galaxy S5 (G900V). It aims to provide stability, performance optimizations, professional look, and recent updates. JasmineROM is going to break the barriers and provide firmware updates a year before VZW OTAs. Well, when Verizon and Samsung stop supporting our device, JasmineROM will support it.

Just in case...

New firmware for the stock version then? Thank you by the way!

Welcome to the S5 sir! Seeing how you did a port for the Note I figured it was a matter of time you'd have this out.
Will check it out shortly and report back!!

Thanks! This is just bases for the latest NE9 firmware. You'll enjoy v2.2 for both S5 & Note 3 soon
I'll need 2 testers for the S5 ROMs: one for the Retail Edition & the second for the Developer Edition.

cuz it's still uploading! I've just restarted the upload for some reason; the deodexed version is 30% now...
I'll send the link(s) to testers 1st & release it in a few minutes after receiving their test results. OR if you wish, I'll directly release this initial version for everyone to test. It should work perfect though.

JasmineROM v1.0 Deodex
The deodexed release of JasmineROM v1.0 is available for download. Testers only are welcome for now. Please wait for testing reports; it won't take long.

I can test for the dev edition if you still need more testers.

tiKtaK ROM
Stock port of the m8 Google Edition series
ABOUT:
This is based off of the New 2014 HTC One (m8) Google Edition and is considered experimental.
I originally ported the m7 GPE to the m7vzw and Dna and then did the m8 GPE for m7vzw and the Dna.
I was asked to port my m8 port to the Gsm m7, so I did and here is the result of that.
Superuser and all of your Google apps come preloaded. (no Gapps needed)
I have found the rom to be stable enough, that I felt it was time to share.
This rom will progress and change as Kitkat evolves and when new versions of Google Edition become available.
I hope that you enjoy the tiKtaK experience.

Credits/Thanks:
All devs that have contributed to the dlx, m7, m8, and Android in general!

Requirements:
You must have at least an unlocked bootloader!
You should have the latest radio and firmware/hboot
You must be running a recent version of CWM or TWRP Recovery

I don't know. I did not see an FM radio app in the dump.
Also I have the Verizon variant and Verizon disabled fm radio on their m7.
So I have no way of testing that and did not think to ask tester that.
Now it seems that SuperSU and Super User do not want to cooperate and can't install their binaries.
Thanks in advance.

If you used CWM to flash the rom, I suggest trying it with TWRP or vice versa.
It seems some recoveries have issues with that.
I installed it using Twrp on the Dna and PhilZ on the m7vzw and had no issues with the SuperSu included.

But I have a Verizon HTC One which cannot be converted, so I cannot say for sure.

@santod040 So I'm wondering here, what advantages does the M8 version introduce when compared against the M7 version? Both are 4.4.2, so has actually anything got improved or changed? Thanks.
@santod040
So the requirements don't mention s-off being needed. Are you sure? I know all 4.4 Google edition roms for m7 have required s-off.
Just curious if that's confirmed. Maybe something to do with it being a port?

I have been s-off since the day I got mine, everything works without issue when s-off.
I can't say if it is 100% required or not, since I have never tried while s-on.
I know typically if you have an unlocked bootloader, you can flash a custom rom and then fastboot flash the Boot.img.
If there is some special reason that won't work here, then I am unaware of that.
Any time I have put s-off as a requirement, someone always claims otherwise.
So it may or may not work for those who are s-on, but I personally don't know why anyone would be, if they want to flash custom roms.
In the Verizon world, we pretty much have to have s-off to unlock our bootloader. So that was never much of a concern or topic.
I urge those that wonder what differences it has, to try it out and see.

Just a quick question because I am not familiar with SkyDragon.. What is the main difference between both kernels?
I am looking for stable performance and good battery life, which should I choose? I guess CpuQuiet

You can easily change fonts via cwm recovery.
I removed xposed modules because they cause many bugs. And i dont need xposed for changing system resources anymore.

I think you just need to make a kernel flasher. I think the init.d folder will be built automaticly.

Thanks for your suggestion. But I have one more Nokia X2 to test these things.
I am already testing new added features before publishing new version.
Otherwise, I will make a test build for Nokia X2 Unbricker Tool. Because some operations need bricked phone which I haven't. Or maybe I will brick my second phone to test it.
I planned to publish Unbricker Tool these days but I am leaving From Xda to 4pda. And I couldn't create topics on 4pda now.
So we must wait a bit.
Great to see that X2 development isn't stagnant. The ROM looks great, will certainly try this. And thanks for sharing it from 4pda to here in XDA with us. Hope you guys work on more source-based custom builds in future.

So. It's realy that simple - Download and Flashfire?
Even from CleanROM??
No sim?
Okay so I installed the rom and my sim wasn't recognized. Is this because I flashed from 5.0.1 not 5.0.2

Yes, if you are currently on OE2. If not you will need to Odin to OE2 with the full OE2 tar and then root with pingpong, install flashfire then flash this.

It sounds like you were on OC3 and not OE2. There was never a 5.0.1 for the VZW S6.

That's OK just Odin to OE2 with the link I posted above. When I get some more time I will try to make a flashable firmware file so we don't have to Odin the full tar for this. I'm not positive it will work but I'll give it a shot later today.

So far only having this phone for less than a week and just got this ROM installed two days ago and so far my battery life has increased quite noticeably during those two days, so wether or not the deodexing has anything to do with it I'm unaware

Noticeable difference between stock odex and this ROM. This ROM is better in terms of battery consumption - same apps. I am using TBO blacked out apps with this ROM though. Not sure if that helps the screen power demand a little bit.
