You told that we must be on CM based ROM, as there's no CM based bug free ROM. Can we try it on Stock ROM?

as the title itself says CM Based ROMs so its better not doing foolishness with kernels be on stock until we get a bugless CM :angel::angel::angel:

As of now its pure CM as i want it to be able to boot and be (mostly) stable before i start modifying it. Also ArchiDroid's optimizations (in theory) should make the overall ROM faster and smoother. Like i said though i will be adding more features as time goes on.

I personally use the latest pa-gapps, however as long as they are 4.4.4 compatible it shouldn't make a difference.

I had superuser on my SD card so I was able to gain root access once I installed it. My apps are still downloading but the ROM seems to be smooth and quick so far.
So it seems when i added the supersu.apk, i forgot to add the binary to the build (insert facepalm emoji here). Building update now.

Still running well for me. I had about 7 percent battery drain overnight(6.5 hrs) no random reboots, freezes etc. Still on stock kernel
Anybody had luck with ART? Didn't seem to work for me but the ROM seems good enough without it.
I had to flash superSU to gain root. Extremely smooth rom, the fastest I have tried in a very long time. Unfortunately there is no exfat support built into the rom, my ext SD card isn't recognized...

I'm not sure what you mean. I have access through root explorer to sdcard1 and it also shows in the ROMs settings under storage.
My SD card is recognized using root browser.
Is your SD card formatted with exfat? I have issues with certain roms not compatible with exfat, other roms do have exfat support and all is well. It has to be baked in the rom.
If you have a fat32 or ntfs SD card, then it's different...
Sorry for the wait, but NEW BUILD! you can find it here. Hopefully this fixed exfat support and root issues.

First off, thanks for making a kernel with that feature. I certainly enjoy fooling with MultiROM and that's a requirement for the host ROM.
At the same time, I don't know that the kernel posted is successful. I flashed the CodeCraft-M8_PH-kexec-hardboot.zip posted in the OP on my device running Santod's latest NuSense build. Using the MultiROM Manager, it states that the kernel does not have the kexec-hardboot patch.
I can't say I have high proficiency with MultiROM or what this specific kernel feature is otherwise, so let me know if there is a specific log that it would be useful for me to attach. I wasn't sure if a logcat would say much in this instance.

Still no luck. I installed the kernel once with Flashify and a second time just from recovery to be sure. In both cases, I receive the message that the kernel doesn't have the kexec-hardboot patch.

Not sure what is up with the download counter, but yes, I've tried that copy as well. Screenshot is attached of the feedback I get from the MultiROM Manager program (and yes, I know I didn't install the main MultiROM file yet. This still works for detecting kernel ability, or it has in previous builds). Please let me know if there is any other log source I can provide.
Well I got it working and new zip is uploaded

Kernel should pretty much be faster and more battery friendly than @ketut.kumajaya 's one.

Waiting custom kernel for miui. ? and thank you dev. This kernel is good for battery and performance.
can i use it in aosp rom/slim 6 ???
Tried flashing the kernel on Team Superluminal CM13.1, phone boots pretty fast, but trying to unlock the device using pin code results in black screen and device going back to the unlock screen eventually.
Kernel compiled using @ketut.kumajaya 's sources didn't do this.
I also tried compiling his kernel and adding your commits, and besides a very slow boot, it didn't do this either.
I didn't get a logcat, but will do tomorrow.

The last Mi-4C release was 10.1. Where did you get 10.2, it doesn't exist?

Tried installing the zip but the install script returns unsupported device. Could it be because I have a xiaomi.eu miui 9 rom?
Nice update for custom kernel for our device.
Anyway, how to back up stock kernel?
