does the clear uag case get scratch easier than the other colors?

I had 1 case ****canned it. Don't use cases now, the manufactures go through so much design to make these phones fit and be slim it is almost a shame to put a case on it. I have dropped mine at least 8 times a few little dings, I wash it daily with soap and water and have yet to have an issue..

.lovemeicase.com/goods.php?id=74[/url] I just got this case and it is awesome, plus it doubles as a crime deterrent. I bought it off eBay though for only 25 I only knew about these cases because I had one for my iPhone 5.

Soap is not good on the phone my friend.

Body Glove case. Really nice grip, anti microbial, and feels very high quality. Snugs the phone tight. Also have the ZAGG glass protector and it works fine with it.

Spigen Tough Armor Case - Gunmetal
This case provide good protection and is very compact. I dropped my phone once and it seemed to provide very good protection.
The buttons are easy to press and I actually like the buttons are flat along the edge of the case, so the chance to mistakenly press the buttons is less!
The cutouts are very good. There are 4 tiny bumps at the back corners that prevent the back from scratches and lift the speaker a little bit above the surface you placed on, so less damping to the speaker.
This case feels high quality made, easy to hold in the hand, and looks good.

Agreed

I actually bought this case before I even bought the phone! It just gives the phone a rugged look and feel. With the phone by itself I didn't necessarily care for the look of it and knew I wanted a case for the S5. Couldn't be happier with this purchase. I even like the ridge edges it has and makes it easier to grip.

My newest spigen case in my collection.

Picked this up from a Cellaris kiosk in the mall.. Had one on my note 2 for the last year and it did an excellent job protecting my phone, so I went back and got one for my S5, I love the kick stand, but the one on my note 2 case seemed more durable than the one on my S5 cases.
They will usually mix and match colors to suit you, and I went with this combo, for the heck of it heh.
heres a link to their webpage, they have other colors at the kiosk, but you get an idea. most of the cases are cruddy, but the kiosks have otterboxes, kraken, and some other decent named cases.. this case set me back about $30.. worth it in my opinion.

cheers

I'm using the incipio teal/cyanish with grey. its kind of funny how small the phone is when I have to take it out (like 2 times now) but this thing is durable. I've dropped it and kicked it a few times and it holds up. love how it keeps my camera nice and tucked in. looks pretty cool too but it's built for abuse it seems.

These are my cases up to this moment. unfortunately, i can't use most of them since i'm using the OEM qi.

The plastic is very very very smooth like butter, but has friction between hard surfaces..so if you stick the phone in your hand with the case on itll slide if you move your hand back & forth..the edge of the case barely covers the phones curved glass, Im guessing to put it in and tale it out, has no play, and just seems like a good ol' hardcase
The more i handle it,the plastic should get grippier, ill update on that
No snap, crackle, pop noises from this case, put it on and done
+1 to a simple case, as my first case for the phone its clean&simple
Looks like the sides come up farther than on the ringke case. But looks good otherwise.

Just got the same case last night. I HATE using cases but this one is really nice. I would absolutely recommend one. Fits like a glove and feels great. It doesn't attract lint like some plastic cases.

...no,
Add another thumbs up to the Diztronic. My first case from them I, that I decided to get based on comments here. So far the best case I've seen for the Nexus 4 (at least until a decent 2-component case like the Otterbox Commuter etc. comes along).
Nexus 4 Diztronic Hardshell Case Review
$9.99- Amazon Link
$9.99- Diztronic Link
Design
5/5
First of all, this case is EXTREMELY thin. It's only 1mm thin, making it 25% thinner than the original TPU case. The back has a non glossy Diztronic logo on it and a slot cut open for the camera and speakers. It is a bit slippery, but won't catch lint on it or attract finger prints. Unlike other shell cases, this one isn't hard to take in and out. However, you definitely want to take it out periodically to make sure debris doesn't get caught in it and scratch the case. The edges of the case just barely go over the screen making a bit of a "lip". The lip is barely there and you may be able to fit a screen protector on it. The buttons are left exposed on the case making pressing the power button and volume rockers very easy.
Protection
4/5
This case does a decent job at protecting the phone while still keeping a thin profile. The top and bottom of the case are left somewhat vulnerable, yet I understand how it would be tough to cover that part while making the case a "hardshell". Keep in mind this case is only 1mm thick, so I'm grading the protection based on the case's target audience.
Final Verdict
4.5/5
This may be the thinnest case to ever hit the market. At $9.95 you get a lot of bang for your buck; this is a high quality case made with premium materials. You can tell Diztronic took the time to make sure they got everything right. This case is so thin you won't even notice it while still giving you some protection.
Def the best case so far, for the money

Looks similiar to the rearth rinke and diztronic ultra thin cases. Try one and give a review!
Hmmm... you can get similar case for 9.99 though.
If SGP made a bumper, I'd be all over.
The ultra thin case does look similar to those on eBay indeed.
what is up with the cutouts on the render? they are awfully tiny on the volume and power. I hope that's not how it really looks but it's not really worth it since you can get the same thing from rearth.
I'll pass. I can have two different colors Ringke Slim cases for that price.
It also includes a screen protector. That's worth the price. Buying one now.
I hope they make a clear version :fingers-crossed:

A Neo Hybrid Ex Bumper to be exact, and I will gladly pay $20-$30.
Go to their FB page and post that you want a bumper case, their already a few post already doing the same.
Sent from my Nexus 4
posted on their fb wall about having other thin cases out there with way lower price that what they'll be offering. also pointed out the how poetic bumper sales are thriving for their bumper case...
their response was "the price depends on what the package comes with"...so I had guessed they'll include their screen protector with the case...but still cant see why they proceed with the project when you can get the same case for around $2 on ebay..
This case is quite a disappointment...I associate SGP with making unique cases, not something so obviously generic looking. I'd really like to see them release something for the Nexus 4 like the Neo or Ultra Hybrids they had for the Galaxy Nexus, or the Linear Metal or Hybrid EX cases they have for the iPhone 5. Now those all look unique from the other stuff out in the market currently.
they will, it will take some time though because on the limited availability of the phone

I think the quantity of these phones in the market is enough to warrant a good sale...just look at the poetic bumper case :
ebay = 818
amazon = more than 149 (based on reviews number, so the exact quantity should be more than that)
They've raked up more than $10 grand of revenue from a single case model...
and sales from both sites are still counting, since other case manufacturers are still skeptic of the market size for this phone's casing...
received my case today!
feels nice, smooth of course lol.
but it feels a bit loose, but it does hold the phone in. The top part of the case is a bit loose with the phone in it, the bottom part is firm and in place.
Maybe because i have a back screen protector on it, but i highly doubt it.
gonna shoot them a email in a bit about it
this is so going to be a product marketing failure...
throwing something very few wants, in a market already filled with it, at a higher price...thats like 3 flukes in one go
its like selling shaved ice out in the cold, in the middle of winter, at a higher price than in summer.
disappointed in SGP

What we really need is a case that only covers the top and bottom and leaves the sides exposed. Would love to take full advantage of those curved edges.

Spigen Neo Hybrid worth it?

I saw the Spigen Neo Hybrid case for the Galaxy S4. I read that there were some issues with previous versions of it for the S3. I was just wondering since some of you guys have one... Does it protect well? It just seems that it wouldn't protect the phone well enough. Also are the buttons too sensitive?
How does it feel? Is the back of the case have more of a plastic feel or rubbery feel to it? And is it worth the $30?
One more thing... I read that tempered glass screen protectors are good. I saw that they were about $30 and I don't really know. Are the normal plastic ones okay?
Thanks.

Could you explain why?
I had the yellow neo hybrid case and returned it to amazon after ten days. The auxiliary cord in my car wouldn't fit, it was rather blocky feeling in my hand (I'm a male with normal sized hands). The main thing that made me return it was the chipping of the glossy coat after ten days, and I have NEVER misused or dropped my phone.
It looks awesome, however.
I decided to just get UAG, probably going to be better for my needs than the neo hybrid was.

I have it and I hate it (especially for $30)
Buttons are extremely easy to push. Whenever I am taking it out of my pocket (business slacks) I always end up pressing buttons. It makes the phone uncomfortable to use. I kind of got used to it but after switching to a tpu case that has rounded corners you don't miss the neo hybrid in your hands. The back feels like matte rubber not grippy at all. I never dropped my phone in this case so don't know how it would hold up. The incompatibility with most micro usb cables pissed me off too.
With that said it does look good I actually had a few people ask what kind of phone that was and complimented the case. I like having my phone feel safe in my hand more than looks I suppose so I haven't used it in a few weeks
Ive had it in my cart for a few days now and cant decide if I should get it or not, 30 bucks isnt too bad but I already paid that for my sview case and I dont want to have one or the other laying around but man it looks nice as hell
absolutely love mine. I use it with the Glast.r (however you spell it lol, it's late) and one of their aluminum home button pieces. Such a nice setup imo.

got it and i love it also got a cheap knockoff on ebay from china for cheap but the quality isnt there although it works. The Spigen works great if your looking for a cool protective case for your S4.
obviously if you drop it from a few stories it might not protect your phone as a otterbox but you get style and just everyday protection. You have to ask yourself what kinda protection you want for your new device and how prone you are abusing it.
I love mine cause the buttons are easier to press and it adds a certain weight to the phone I thought the s4 was too light. Plus the jellybean buttons feel awesome. Only thing though makes it look like an iPhone! Ain't nobody got time to be an iSheep!

i have both a slim armor and neo hybrid. imo the neo hybrid with a tempered glass solution (mine is MIME) and an aluminum button is pure class. i thought i'd switch between the two cases but I have a feeling my slim armor is just gonna sit around and not get used
Looks and build quality wise the Sgp Neo Hybrid is stunning - no excess material anywhere and an excellent fit. But ergonomics and protection wise it is not so good. There is barely any lip to speak of and the main camera lens is only about 1mm away from the surface you place your phone on. The squared off design also makes the phone uncomfortable to hold. I have slung mine in a drawer and am using a UAG case which although not finished as well seems much better for protection. I do not think the Sgp case is worth 30 dollars when you can pick up a UAG case (including a screen protector) for only 5 dollars more.

Ive had it for 3 weeks now and no chips or anything so if people say theirs chipped its because they dropped it. 30.00......worth it.

best tpu case?

Any input on the best tpu case for the note 4... specifically the verizon note if it makes any difference.
I have the obliq. Tpu. Case it's great good grip on the side solid lip around display and not problem with mic. Holes it goes for about 8 bucks on Amazon
i have read that one of the verizon mics is moved slightly to the side than the other models. so one of the mics will be covered up if it wasn't designed for verizon version. i would make sure any case you buy says it will work on verizon model. i just got a 8 dollar case off ebay when i picked up my note 4. mine is a sprint variant. i am pretty happy with it for the price

Nice looking case. How is the side grip when cold? For example, the Samsung protective case plus and Verus Thor get harder, uncomfortable and have less grip when cold but have very good fit, everywhere. Do you have any other cases to compare it to? Could you post some pictures showing the USB port, mics, and headphone jacks, please? And one more close-up on the bezel lip.
TIA.
haven't noticed a difference when the temp changes. we have had a few days in the 30's around here this week and don't notice any difference. it's only been on the phone 3 or 4 days. i just got it in the mail. still waiting on my glass screen protector to get in but i don't imagine it will be a problem

Thanks. The pictures are fine except that I can't tell if the white outer rim is soft TPU or a harder compound like a polycarbonate?
Also, how would you describe the grip of the sides and back shell?
TIA.
If you want full TPU, the Diztronic is the best game in town. If you want something with a lot more style and great fit, the Samsung protective cover should be given a look.

Grip is ok. I would think there are better cases for that. I wouldnt really say its bad or great but just ok. The black is more a firm rubber feel and the white is a hard plastic feeling material. The edges catch some of the black softer material when u grip it which helps a little. For the price i would say definately worth the money. I swap phones like crazy so i cant see paying more than 30 for a case when i will prob be rocking something else in 6 months or so.
I use the tech21 impactology case. I've dropped my phone 4 or 5 times (slips out of pockets when getting out of my car) and no marks or damage at all. I bought mine from Verizon so a little more expensive, but didn't want to deal with the mic hole issue
I have the spigen capsule, great case and I can even get the note 4 into it with the wireless charging battery cover on. Admittedly its a bit of a squeeze and using the heart rate monitor is a no-go
I just got the Samsung official protective case. I love it. I have a diztronic as well, and it's great, but damn this samsung one is thinner, makes the phone feel overall better and the buttons aren't as easy to push as the diztronic. it's a great case!

If it sucks, I'm gonna get the diztronic.
The Samsung case is the best case I own, but I don't consider it a true TPU case due to the textured back. As for the best 100% TPU case, that title goes to the Diztronic, which I also own.

Recommend any good cases?

Hey guys,
Im looking for a case for my phone but i'm extremely unsure what to get, anything that'll look after the phone without getting damaged. I'm not interested in those flip cases because I know they wont last long as I seen someones case literally been torn apart within a month not sure if it was from excessive use but it looked nasty af. Your recommendations will be appreciated greatly!
If you like the look the black Spigen case hands down. I've been using this model on my Onyx and 6p both still like the day I bought. This case can withstand the hardest of drops even on concrete.

Survived a few drops.
I've used this one for a few years (E LV). Dropped the phone on concrete and its been fine. for 10 bucks you get basically two cases one with a kickstand and one with a belt clip.
Nexus 6P CASE, E LV Shock-Absorption - Dual Layer Armor Holster Defender Full Body Protective Case Cover with Kickstand and Belt Swivel Clip for HUAWEI Nexus 6P - [BLACK]
The edges of the case has become a bit chipped now from dropping the phone a bunch, and it is plastic.
I apparently can't post links yet.

I used these cases;
Spigen Neo Hybrid EX 7 / 10
Perfect fit. Perfect Protection. Good looking. But case started turning yellow after a while.
Spigen Ultra Hybrid 6/10
Perfect fit. Good Protection. Good looking. Gets yellow after a while too
Spigen Rugged Armor 10/10
Perfect fit. Perfect Protection (dropped many times, and my little son throwed it almost everyday ) But it still protect.
If you want to protection , I strongly recommend that case.
(All cases bought from Amazon.)
Been using a SUPCASE Unicorn Beetle since day one....Has withstood many drops from as high as my lifted Jeep onto the roadway. Love this case, still retains much of the great look of the 6P as well, until I slapped a big piece of metal on the back for my magnet mount in the car. I have also used the same iCarez screen protector since day one, no lifting, no cracking, nothing just a beautiful tempered glass screen protector that has withstood the test of time. FULL DISCLAIMER, I love my devices and I take great care of them. I avoid damage, immersion, destruction for the most part but we aren't perfect and accidents happen. That being said, if you are someone that beats the crap out of everything you use, you may want something stronger.

Buy them, you won't be disappointed.
I bought a Spigen case, I didn't like it. It leaves a grease like substance that gets all over the screen. I just leave it nude cause I hate cases anyway

That doesn't sound right I would of sent it back. Either you got a knock off or factory defective.

After making this post I looked at it again. Ran it under water to clean and try it again. It seems to be just a waterproof coating wearing off on my hands
Still couldn't recommend it because of that
My Nexus 6P survives well with the incipio case.
The screen protector has not shattered/scratched since I've bought it 2 and half years ago.
It fell a lot and didn't die so i guess this case is great ^^
