I tried using this app but couldn't find a way to set different frequencies for each core... Maybe I'm not looking in the right place?

If you are using this phone, use Quadrant Standard to check system information. Hope this helps.
However lenovo website states MTK6582 Quad-core

I don't hear a sound when using stock app that has a pull to refresh such as the stock email.
Other apps have a sound but it's app specific like Twitter and gplus

Maybe it's rom specific. There's a check box in settings but I don't remember if it was there in the stock rom or not.

I'm using a CM13 based ROM and my device is compatible
You can download the apk and install it

Don't worry, this apk doesn't contain any malicious code as this is a trusted site recommended by everyone
I have checked everywhere and am unsure which chipset apk files we should choose.
I have options for:

I tried the method of whichever one works but most of them always install and I do not want issues.
