Maybe it's a dumb question but how to send/upload images into gear's gallery? I'm unable to send images over bluetooth (gear not supported such protocol) and osx after connecting over usb doesn't recognize device as a usb-drive.

The only way I know of is to connect via usb and have it recognized as a drive. Looks like you'll have to diagnose that problem. =-[

We all know the standard favorite apps...Nova Launcher, Lightflow, Tasker, Pulse, etc. What is an app that you like that doesn't get a lot of attention?
For me it would be Root Call Blocker Pro. With its google group filtering, I was able to go on a website listing lots of common spam numbers in my area code and add those to a google group on my laptop. Now I have about 80 such numbers blocked. I was also able to automatically direct all unknown or private callers to my voicemail.
Webkey. Lets you control everything on your Android from any PC. Even turns your phone access into a URL so no installation required on the controlling PC. Great for using it as a media device when someone doesn't have an integrated multimedia setup.

Desire S • Fallout V2.0.0 • xda premium
Profile Scheduler by Wetpalm, it's smaller and drain less resources then Lama. Scheduler is based on time table - no GPS locations but is free and extremely useful for someone having a fixed day by day routine.
Display orientator is very useful. It forces anything into landscape mode......

Mmk, added CamScanner and TeamViewer. I didn't see any Market entries for TubeMate, and I wasn't sure which wifi ADB item you were talking about (there's quite a few).

I just bought a new TV (Samsung UN32EH4000) and I've had very good luck using its ConnectShare USB port to connect to an external hard drive and a flash drive to play music and videos. However, I haven't had any luck connecting my S3. I'm wondering if this is possible? The TV just says "There is no device detected." I toggled it back and forth from MTP and PTP but still no joy. Anyone else got this or any other Android device to work?
This is what you need. It is amazing and you can use it with any HDMI TV.

there is an app / tweak (root only) that will allow you to mount only the external SD card as a mass storage device like in earlier android phones and that will allow you to do what you want.
If its a dlna enabled TV you can mirror it with your s3

I saw a YouTube video of it just search for it s3 dlna, give it a shot - settings, more settings - search for nearby devices (dlna)
Probably search within your TV to make it searchable, but that all on your end.

I got it to work! Installed the v1.4 (v1.5 probably would work too) from the link i listed before.
It would really be nice if there was a way to transfer images to the gallery app via bluetooth rather than needing to connect to a computer via USB. Especially on the Neo where the gallery serves no purpose otherwise. How hard do you think it would be to be able to add the devices to the share menu on the gallery app and then integrating with the tizen app? Any thoughts?
I am having a hell of a time getting the sdk to install correctly on Windows too btw!

I agree this would be a huge benefit.
And I feel your pain on the SDK. It took some doing to get it working on my machine at home. Java seriously lacks user friendly attributes

Do you mean transfering images from watch to phone? or vice versa? Cause pics from watch is automatically showing up in my phone's gallery after taking them.
I have the neo so there is no camera on my end.

Thanks for the link.. I will certainly look into it. The issue I am having is not being able to get the wearable SDK to install correctly on my machine. It is just one error after another and it is getting extremely frustrating.

I believe I've looked almost everywhere, and after a couple hours looking I give up and decided to ask:
On my GEAR S I have a clock face with the basics: Time in big bold numbers a the top, followed below in smaller fonts: Notifications count, Calendar (or agenda, whatever) count and weather.
It also has a short description of what's coming up for me: Next meeting (for instance: (Staff meeting 0800-1200))
I'm a Safety Manager (OSHA, on military installations) and that's all I need to get through the day. I just bought this S2 and LOVE IT, but I can't seem to locate a clock face that tells me everything I need at a glance.
Ideas?

Right now this is impossible to accomplish with the gear watch designer. Maybe in a future update, it can be done. But as for now, the options just aren't available without making a whole stand alone program to run on the phone so you can display weather and all the various notifications.

they only OPEN apps. you cannot display weather, notifications, etc.

Thank you. A veritable Gold Mine of watch faces. With that being said I searched through all 11 pages and did not find a single watch face that displays the weather or notifications or otherwise on the home face.
Please believe me when I say I am not trying to be argumentative. I am just dying (figuratively) to learn how to incorporate these complications directly on the watch face instead of tapping to open the Weather or notification app. The complications in GWD are really limited.
P.s. For anyone else interested be sure to add the S on the address

Its coming very soon I have direct contact with Samsung UI designer , so you will see my faces with these type of requests coming soon, sorry we cant do this sooner there is of course the SDK coded versions on the store until then.

Ah haaa. So I was not mistaken. Mkowy led me to believe it was possible NOW. If it's on the interwebs, it must be true. Amirite?
1. You have to install this install this ipa file in this link
2. Connect your device to your computer open iTunes and run the ipa file
3. Sync your phone in iTunes finally you see Gear S2 manager app in your phone.
4. Go Settings > General > Profile in your iOS device
5.Then select Samsung and tap Trust button.
6. Factory reset your gear s2
7.Open Gear S2 manager app in your iOS device
8.Pair your Gear S2 and use your watch
Technically you can also use cydia impactor as well...either or

this ipa file is signed also you can use iTunes but if you want you can use another ipa install apps

Followed your way, and my watcht connected after reset its firmware to my 6s plus.
I installed some watchfaces and i do get notifications. Great!

Also, can someone confirm this will connect to iPhone via 3G connection? I'm on Verizon.
Also, do the notifications work just as they do on Android, or are there limitations?
Having lots of problems trying to install watch faces, kept getting stuck at 100%, anyone else seeing this? Did a reset of the watch but didn't help.

I cannot confirm this. I did on the watch the initial factory reset and my 6s plus connected. Installing watchfaces works for me but is terrible slow. I comparrision to an Android connection, I can install only one at a time. On Android I could click more then one at a time. Have you tried another factory reset of the watch?
What I also cannot change is the language of the samsung page. It takes the country settings, not the phone default. That is funny if you live in Malaysia and do not speak well that language.

Limitation is, you cannot answer on the watch. Under Android, one can answer pre-defined answers, not under this app on the iphone.
On notation you will get every one you allowed on your phone. Which is more then I could get under Android.

I can install some watch faces but most failed. Those failed I've noticed they are over 2 MB while the smaller sizes seems to be ok. e.g. Text Face English ok but WatchAndromeda or Eleonor II not as it downloaded quickly, install stuck at "Install xxx 100%" and just remains for 10 mins without doing anything and I can't install another as it says install in progress, has to kill the app and retried but again stuck at 100%
Working great so far. The only feature that i am unable to use is to block notifications for specific apps. Can't add any app to that category. Did anybody had success there ?

The Gear S2 works with my iPhone and, in fact, does some things better than with the Galaxy S7.
I can't figure out how to load my music on the device so I could use some help there.
