Maybe a better order is:
* Ask for feedback
* If good: order
* If not: look for something else
* Return to first step
Instead of:

* If good: profit
* If not: weepmode enabled

I have seen reviews they sound good from reviews was just wondering if anyone has used them with android as most reviews were with ios devices!

I bought a pair and hated them. Sound quality is terrible. I returned them the same day. I decided to use the Samsung buds that came with the phone and they are way better. I keep all my ear buds from my phone's so I have a good supply, about six or seven pair .

Thanks I will wait till I receive item & report back. I will look into stock samsung earphones also as my previous pair broke.

I liked them. Until the housings fell apart out of nowhere

Thanks mate i am getting mixed reviews from alot of people I will report back once I have tested item for myself.

Senihienser is the best!!!...CX 180...nothing can beat it's base and sound. I'm the proud owner

if they ever go bad on you, you can contact skullcandy and they will more than happily replace them or give you credit to purchase a different one. On my second set of FMJ

It really depends on your budget and your definition of sound quality. My daily IEM is a set of Shure SE425, I like how it's flat and not overwhelmed by the bass, and a little boost from the EQ is fine for all types of music, clarity is second to none. For gym I usually listen to heavy bass house/ techno music. I used to have a pair of Skull back then, didn't ask for too much given the price. Ripped in 6 months then got a pair of Beats as a gift, was a big upgrade from Skull but still too muddy for my like. Now I got a pair of Denon C560R and the bass/charity is perfect; the only down side is it doesn't stay too well in my ear when I work out @ the gym, going to order a custom foam sleeves.
If by any chance you do refund your SkullCandy, you can go HERE to have a quick look. They do review of IEM from $30 - $1K; and a huge forum with user review will definitely assist you on your purchase. Good luck!

What earphones/headphones are you using for your N1?

I have a Soundmagic PL-30 for music...I know it's nothing spectacular, but it's good for the money
I'm looking to upgrade though, might want to hear what other users are using
Beats by Dre (Tour w/ controltalk)
I use AKG K390NC
er, are you just looking for headphone suggestions? Same as any other PMP?
I use Sennheiser CX300, cheap enough on Amazon (** below) but amazingly better than my previous pair, but my next pair I'll go ahead and spend a little more I think. These are really the low end of the mid-range. They spend 98% of their time in my Creative Zen, but hey, I've used 'em on the N1 a time or two.
** Be very careful buying headphones anywhere, there are tons of fakes out there. If you buy 'em on Amazon for example, only buy them from Amazon, ie: Amazon LLC is the seller. At least that way you'll have a better chance of them being real and returning them if they are not. Do research into any set of headphones, but also research the fakes so you can identify if yours are fake when you receive them!
I'm using Ultimate Ears SuperFi but I really love Monter Beats Solo
I just bought some Sony's that have the track control and they're really comfortable and have better bass then the included ones.

Stock headphones for working out or when I am on a call.
Etymotic Research ER-4 for when I care about audio quality a little bit, but not enough to use my real cans or my home system.
I am using the Motorola s305 very confortable, the keys all work and they sound pretty good.

I'm using Monster Turbines and JAYS q-JAYS. The Turbines sound a little better on the N1 most of the times cause the bass can be a little weak with the q-JAYS since there's no EQ to adjust it.
Klipsch
Klipsch Image S4 I use them exclusively, and they were well worth every penny!
I have the Ultimate Ears triplefi 10Vi. these sound awesome and have a mic too..
also the mute button on the wire allows skipping tracks

Hi Guys,
Can you please suggest me a good in-ear earplugs with mic for my N1.

The bass isn't the best but not bad if you get them seated properly.
Don't listen to these people. Get the V-Modas. I got the M9P and I love it but if I could spend more, I'd get the V-Moda Vibe.

Too late I guess, and out of your price range. But I use the Bose MIE2 mobile headset and the sound quality is just incredible with the nexus, and all functions work well. Price is high at 140 dollars but totally worth it if you have the means. Best accessory I've got for my nexus.
I am using the Radius Atomic Bass II and love it.
Have a few brand new spare ones. If anyone interested, please PM me.
Sony Ericsson MW600 bluetooth in-ears.
Good audio (well, it is Sony).
Music play/pause rwd/fwd. They even have an FM in-built radio. Fully functions as HF.
Happily using them for over a year now.

Hello
i need help and i know that here are some audiophiles
i have desire and i want to buy some earphone to 40€+-30%
cant decide between in-ear and on/over-ear and i dont want some ****ty chinese stuff
can anybode help me?
thanks
I prefer to have over/on-ear headset since not every in-ears can fit my ears.
Lots of in-ears fall easily from my ears, getting the one which fits well is difficult as hell for me.
For these price range I suggest these on- and over-ear headphones:
1. Sony XB300 or 500 (I have a XB300)
2. Koss porta pro (My sister has this)
3. AKG K420 (not for big heads)
I am wearing XB300 for daily basis (subways, streets, etc.) but using Sennheiser PXC450 at home or for long journies especially on airplanes.
PXC450 is one of the best headphone have ever bought
I would highly recommend the Sennheiser CX400II!
These are in-ear and come with 6(!) sizes of rubbers for it. They cancel A LOT of voice. If someone is talking right next to you and you're listening to music you hear about nothing. Also the sound quality is very good, if you like bass, it's definitely a great set!

thanks for replies guys
i was thinking about akg k420, but they are plastic and i would brake them sooner or later
Sony XB500 and Sennheiser CX400II look really good, now i cant decide :-/
I would recommend to think also about buying the Koss Porta Pro. I bought it for round about 25 € and I think the sound is better than my 100 € Bose Headphones.
I didn't expect much, but it has a brilliant sound and I was really, really surprised.
There are also 10 years warranty... Easy to carry and there's a bag and a 6.2mm adapter included.
I use the in ear Sony MDR-ex300! Perfect sound and powerfull bass.

I like the ones that came with my Desire....and when they stopped working I rang HTC who were more than helpful and sent me a replacement pair for free
As an old-school valve amp & vinyl audiophile and former high-end hi-fi salesman, I suggest you need to be asking yourself the following questions:
1. What kind of music do you listen to?
2. How much looking isolation from external sound would you like?
3. Do you like your sound to be really neutral or "coloured"?
4. Do you have equalisation in your ROM or music app?
We've found the Koss Mirages are a great price, have a punchy dynamic sound with good external isolation, and are quite comfortable. Koss also have a great replacement policy.
I've just bought some Yamaha EPH-50's and am surprised by their great low frequency response and smooth natural highs. They convey a nice sense of space (as much as can be had in an earbud).
In terms of frequency balance, the lows are surprisingly deep and clean. They are a bit mid-bass heavy though, and they lack the high-frequency sizzle that some people incorrectly perceive as "clarity". Cymbals may appear a bit recessed but could be augmented with a bit of top-end EQ in your player. Despite this the top end still delivers a lot of detail.
Vocals are especially good and the more subtle nuances of well-recorded acoustic instrumental tracks are nicely defined and rendered. Bass drums have good punch on the right recordings.
Overall I find them very satisfying for relaxed non-fatiguing listening over a good period of time.
They also seem quite efficient on my HTC Desire (not renown for their ear-splitting volume) ... for me they are plenty loud at about 50%.
The only thing I'm not sold on with them is the are a bit fiddly removing as where the cable enters the driver is shiny chrome plastic that is a bit hard to grip.
I use Monster Turbine for daily usage and these are the best in-ear headphones I've ever heard. They are really useful and bring natural highs as well as a good bass.
I prefer in-ears from Sennheiser (about 50.-) and normal, heavy headphones with heavy bass from Sony at home.
I don't think the Desire is all that great in terms of audio though, so I wouldn't spend to much there.
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App
i recommend getting the on ear headphones from Energy Sistem DJ 400. My friend has them and he let me try them on my Desire and the sound is phenomenal If u listen at 100% u cant hear anything around you and also what music you hear all others around you can hear it too. Their price is around 12-13 euros in my country..
I use a set of Beyer Dynamic MMX100 In-ear phones/headset- excellent set of headphones, I find Sennheisers to be slightly too transparent/tinny and all Beyers seem to be slightly warmer- good enough for the majority of the music industry/music studios etc then good enough for me
They are usually £120 RRP, but if you look on Amazon.co.uk, one seller has them in stock and selling them for £79.99 with free delivery (Amazon currently selling them for £102.11).
for on-the-go earphones, IEM are the best. Off the bat, I would recommend something from Westone.
But since there is a budget involved, something from Ultimate Ears or Klipsch would be good.

What do you think about the google headphone

I want to buy headphones to my Nexus 4, and I want to know what is your opinion about the google headphone, or the ibeats (Dr. Dre).
Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2
If you like your headphones bassy and overpriced, go for the ibeats. But I doubt the controls will work as they're made for apple devices.
In general, I think you'll find much better options than either. First of all, though, you should think about what you want in your headphones and how much you're willing to spend. And then seek out a forum with lots of people who care about audio quality etc.
I personally am using the Superlux HD 381F. Build quality is not spectacular, but the sound is amazing considering they only cost 20€, so it's not that much of a loss if you break or lose them. Which I do way too often to actually buy more expensive ones.
I would go with neither.
Go with Senheiser or another know 'headphone' brand.
I myself use the Marley earbuds, they fit perfectly, the cord is not from plastic but from fabric, earbuds are from wood, and most of all have amazing sound.

Get yourself a pair of Sennheiser, Shure, or audio-technica headphones. ~$100 for some really good ones.

Do a little search and you can come up with a few threads on various headphones. From cheapest, to what you have/recommend, in ear or over the ear, etc. It's here. I know because I commented on most of them lol.
My opinion of the Google headphones. They are good for just the casual listener. Dr. Dre are a bit overpriced for what they are, but I don't deny the popularity of them due to "style" and whatnot. What is your budget? What type of headphones are you looking into? These are some of the things to think of and do a little research on to come to your conclusion.
I just bought some Munitio NINES 9mm earbuds, because they looked interesting because they look like bullet casings lol. Well I read in some reviews that they sound great for the price. So I am testing them out.
So basically, if you want good in ears, go for the brands like Sennheiser or Shure products. Also Jays headphones are decent as well. I personally use the Sol Republic AMPS HD for my yardwork. They are light and tangle free. Over the ears are based on mostly on personal preference due to the head phone cup size, portability, and so forth.
Additionally, the type of music you listen to plays a factor as well. GL and happy shopping!

I have not tried the google headphones, ( i'm sure their average to decent like standard earphones) but I do own the ibeats by Dr.dre. I would not have bought them myself as I agree they are overpriced, but I received them as a birthday gift. The quality is very good, better than any other earphones I tried or had ( all <$20) and they have a lot of bass, which I really like. The build quality is really good too, better than all my usual cheap earphones ( but thats what you would expect at that price range) - the rubber for the wires and the metal earbuds are both good. I was happy with the sound but honestly I'm sure you could get just as good a pair in terms of sound quality for $50, like the name brands mentioned above. These are just priced for the branding and popularity and style points. I did get a lot of compliments for them since they are recognizable.
For the controls, only the center button worked for me. It does pause/play, or pick up/hang up a call. You can get apps to set the one button to do other things based on how many times you press it. The volume/track + - buttons did not work for me, I don't think android supports them yet.
So your choice, depends on your budget and what you want. They're good but expensive.. you might be better off with one of the well known audio company brands.

They're excellent for the money, and the plug is actually a 90 degree, though the pictures don't show it. They've got great bass, and you won't believe the quality for the price.
I recommend the Klipsch IMAGE S4 II's. Love the sound from them and they're not too expensive. If you're looking for cheap, the IMAGE S3 or original IMAGE S4's also do an excellent job. The versions that have an A at the end of them have a customizable button via an Android app made by Klipsch themselves.

I've heard Skullcandy nought out a small high-end brand and basically took their technology and olincorporated it into their own lines. Now I don't know how true that is. But I can definitely say their quality has improved. Whether it's from buying out a high end company or investing in their own tech. Personally I'm a big fan of Monster. I have a pair of Turbine Pro Copper ear buds that sound incredible. I haven't heard a different pair of buds that sound better. To give you an idea if how much skullcandy has improved, a friend of mine gave me a pair of Beats Studio headphones that I've been using with an inline mic as my gaming headset until I get the one I really want (which ironically are about 25% of the cost of this Beats pair that we both ended up being very underwhelmed by). U apologize for rambling. But without hearing either, I'd buy the Skullcandy of the two. Also, do keep in mind, audio devices are very user specific. That's why there's many high-end brands and not one single "best". If possible, I would suggest buying both pairs from a shop with a decent return policy, have your own little head-to-head review and then return the loser. And lastly, don't undervalue the source either. There may be comparable/better options available now, but Viper4Android has made a significant improvement to my music quality. But you do need root if you don't have it. I look forward to see what you decide. Good luck

To be honest, if the bid stays about the same on these:

I couldn't suggest a pair of earbuds more. Because not many people know about em, they end up selling for far less than they're worth. And the best part is, they have a no questions asked replacement warranty. You trash your $300 earbuds, they replace em no issue. And if you can grab em at $50, it's sooooo worth it. I'll do some more research on the skull candy buds. But those are the exact buds I own and I've never heard headphones that sound better. They have like 16 ear pieces to fit your ear perfectly. And I didn't know how important that was until I used em. If you're dead-set on skullcandy, I'll do more research on em. But if the bidding stays low on those Turbines, I can't suggest them enough. I absolutely love mine and got em for 50% off at $150 and don't regret a second of it. Though I will still check into the skullcandy for you in the meantime
well I spoke to my friend that has the Skullcandy over-ear headphones. They're called Skullcandy Crusher. They have incredible range and a bass boost knob that allows you to go about as bass heavy as you could possibly need. I believe he paid $80 for them. Which is a bit out of your price-range, but the audio quality is fantastic. Not as goog ss the Monster Turbine Pros that I suggested, which are earbuds. But still WELL worth the money. I will continue to look into their earbuds specifically, but those headphones are fantastic
You should take a look over the Sol Republic Track series. Those are good headphones and the headband is made of a flexible plastic that are virtually indestructible

Mi offers good quality iem very cheap, but you will have to find a trust worthy source, as there are many fakes on Ebay and from online sellers.
Try the amazon premium headphones.
I"m a fan of Apple's EarPods because they fit well in my ears. The amazon headphones are similar in shape and all of the buttons are completely compatible.

sorry man, but both choices are kinda crappy. if you want decent slightly v-shape sounding IEMs and fully-compatible controls go for Sennheiser MM30G! good news it's always on sale for $30-35
