These are the sources of cyanogenmod. So, you're telling e that "freexperia project" is just a build from cyanogenmod sources?
Maybe i misunderstood. I tought that freexperia project was ANOTHER rom BASED ON cyanogenmod.
thanks for clarification,

OK, now I got it. I can't see the reason to name the same build in 2 different ways (FXP3XX e CM_NIGHTLY_XXXXXX). I think this is prone to confusion. But thanks for clarification.

How stable is fxp311 for this phone? Worth going through rooting, unlocking bootloader etc for it yet?

Seems to be better than official cm11 from 20140321. Stable enough. Have not found any problems yet. Phone, wifi, mobile data, bluetooth, camera, wifi hotspot working. Miracast is working but not excellent. Battery consumption is similar to stock. cm11 camera has much less functions than stock. 8Mpix only, I think.

Yes everything is working.
I agree that camera can be better. Only basic functions, no picture size.
I miss functions from i9300 slim camera.

Rom is great. Now testing battery life. Only thing i noticed, is that there isn't dual split view like in Mokee 4.4.2. Or it is just a future of Mokee rom?
Maybe i'm wrong but, it seems that scrolling in facebook app is smoother than in Mokee rom. Great Job. Thanks.

Hi Andi,
it seems quite fluid, even in stock frequencies, but I miss ART (I have nothing else but good experience with it at the moment):
- all sensors are working,
- WiFi speed solid,
- Rotation medium smooth,
- Camera working,
- Missing split window, which Mokee has (been told that this a CM thing to implement)
- No Performance Settings available (best version in OMNI rom)
For the start: very good:good:

If you have root and a recovery installed on the xperia z2 tablet, then you have your bootloader unlocked already.
Root just gives you higher privileges in the running state. To install lets say Clockworkmod recovery, you need write access to the boot partition, which comes only with an unlocked bootloader.
I´m not sure, but my LTE Tablet have Dual Recovery installed and rooted as well.. But still locked Bootloader. I need to unlock them to be able install any custom ROM.
For now i´m on Sony Stock ROM.

I stand corrected, your tablet can have a locked bootloader with XZDualRecovery and root. Sorry for that...
You can install a custom ROM however make sure you create a backup of /system/bin/chargemon in a location you know it keep secure, then just flash the locked dual recovery beta zip.
I had xzdualrecovery on my xperia z2 tablet with a locked bootloader but it would not stick when I tried backing up or flashing a custom ROM. I went ahead and unlocked the bootloader and installed a CWM recovery in order to avoid loosing a recovery because of bootloader errors/bugs.

They have clearly mentioned the state of the rom... It's in alpha state and bugs are as same as CM.... So for now there's no point flashing it and wait until it's in some proper shape... Too bad they didn't even mention whether Non LTE users can flash it or not... I'm just a bit lightened up that someone is taking up the job :good: Let's wait for it for a little while more and expect something from sony or the xda devs....
not working
how to install?
me
1.install cwm
2. clean a new rom
3.install from sd crdroid and gapps

Your last step is wrong.... There's nothing to enjoy in it lol.... It has to be more stable to be enjoyed...

Correct .... We hope for new rom working
Guys just give a proper Bug report and tell the people for which version it is. It isn't that hard.
I can install and test the rom Sunday, I am on vacation and do not have a suitable PC to install and report any bugs. I suppose that the camera and the data are not working so it's not a rom for daily use.
I received confirmation that the camera does not work because they are not being pushed drivers in Rom AOSP/CM
what ?

Minimal F.A.Q
Q: After ROM boot up, I'm getting SetUP wizard errors / other Gapps FC / Black screen on first boot, why ?
A: On marshmallow based Roms, you need to flash ROM and gapps at the same time
TWRP even allows you to flash multiple .zip files
Q: Why no Mediatek Engineering Menu?
A: Its Mediatek proprietary, ugly , not needed on our builds.
Relevant features used on Mediatek E. Menu have been ported to our builds already using aosp / our implementations ( Sensors calibration , Band Mode, etc)
Q: Do we get The Fast Charge you guys made on Lollipop RC's ?
A: Yes, Fast Charge implementation was implemented on our MM builds
Q: App "x" is not working, why?
A: First make sure the app works under Marshmallow
Q: Something wrong with my Bluetooth, can't connect /pair with my "x" device , car-BT
A: Bluetooth should be backwards compatible , some OEMs don't also follow some guidelines , surely can be improved.
Post your BT model, Car model and year to help us out determining compatibility issues

We're far ahead of those other builds, cause @fire855 already merged all upstream changes by Google, which are missing in PA sources still. [emoji2]

AOSPA contains no built-in root function. You need to flash the SuperSU package.

Can I please ask we need Banks Gapps instead of ARM 64 Gapps 6.0 PICO?
Banks Gapps seems heavy

It's recommend to use banks gapps in aospa. You can still try opengapps and if you get now problems everything is fine.
NEW AOSPA BUILD:
It fixes the broken fmradio (thanks to @superdragonpt for the fast fix)

PA doesn`t support exFAT.
CM and AICP without this problem.
