Hello all i have bought a xperia C a month ago.
I'm currently in china and have a lot of chinese app on my phone and not the gapps.
I have found a way to install Gapps but my phone is in 16.0.A.0.47 or i saw update for 16.0.B.x.x ....i try tu update my xperia with pc compagnon but it's says im already at the lastest version.
I saw some screen and your model number is C2305
Mine is S39h
I don't know if it's change something but apparently it's exactly the same sony xperia C different Model number for different country... So Any way to have the english rom with gapps pre installed and last version on my xperia?
PS sorry for my english frenchtard over here who can't talk another langage than his native one.

I installed once again Official 2.1 update from Sony PC Companion Latest Software.
Later flashed with flash tools and installed Mini CM 7.2.x.
now working fine, thank you very much dude ....
Hit, I'm an owner of xperia E3 and I've heard that KK 4.4.4 has been rolled over week ago and still is not available in Poland (non-brand phone). And I'm wondering when this update will appear as OTA or PC companion? Do you have aby idea? There's a few annoying bugs and just thinking about flashing my e3 with firmware from other region would be faster .

if you look on Xperifirm half version of e3 have not 18.5 firmware avaiable.
on Poland :
Play PL has 18.4
Polkmtel has 18.5

I checked this out but my e3 is non-brand (nor Play or polkomtel). Those operators provide some crapware with firmwares and i want to avoid this. Do you think it's better to wait for OTA? will it ever appear?
In every phone there is bloadware(exept Nexus. Motorola but they are/were Google ). So i downloaded that UK version and the only bloadware were small application and they are not such a big deal.I remember one of them was Vine.You can wait for a OTA update from the curiour but there is a chance that you will not reseve it.

if have some time i think u can backup all data, upgrade with flashtool, restore data, root.
Hey so ive had a broken z3 for ages now, its not borken broken at all. It just needs the sony os u know as i tried to install cm it deleted the os ... So im on xperifirm right now. I live in finland, and the z3 model is D6603. So what one will i download from xperifirm? There isnt no finland option ofcourse so what one??
Is it the generic global? Lol as only the recovery works theres no way to find out the latest release code thing?
And how do i download it?! Im on flashtool here and theres no option to download on xperifirm thing

I own a Sony Xperia Z3 D6653 (1288-4394 variant), and it looks like Sony forgot to release the 23.5.A.1.291 firmware update for this variant, which is kind of a bummer since they don't answer my emails.
My phone isn't rooted, and I was wondering if there's a way I can update my firmware without wiping my phone clean.

I own a D6605 with that firmware through OTA update.
Have you searched/selected the correct model at the Sony Support site?
I would recommend to look for it, and maybe specify my model number, and download it yourself.
At the supportsite theres also a tool which has to option to install this update (flash) without wiping your phone. Search this forum for details, as i'm writing this down from memory. They used this method on Z(1) and Z2 before.

What's so special about that TW build? Bands?

Question is, what inside the box for Singapore users? Device is F8332 XZ Dual. I purchased online and found something strange until I questioned about the genuinity of my device.
Mine got earphone MH750 and standard charger UCH20.
Is the SG version really get that straight from the box? Thanks.
Ur not the only one buddy...I got the same ****y earphones like u and same charger as u...earphones are the same since Xperia z3...dont know why Sony made a decision like that ,probably to cut the cost of the phone and so on...it s a shame that firms like Samsung gives u Hi-end earphone while we get a 3 year old earphones on xperias.... so you two bought xperia XZ that come from singapore. can your xperia XZ update the OS to 7.1.1? because my xperia XZ from singapore still dont have notification update to 7.1.1, still stuck at 7.0

sry but mine is not from singapore...its a european model...also i have bootloader unlocked and flashed the latest firmware so i cant confirm anything about OTA update...Did u try to update the phone with Xperia companion...cuz some updates dont come OTA but via usb cable with xperia companion...u should try if u didnt.

im already tried using xperia companion, there is no update. and i saw it on xperifirm latest update for my phone is 39.2.A.0.417, well i guess im stuck at 7.0 then xD
i dont wanna manual flash my phone yet because it must to be unlock bootloader and i dont want it cause it make my warranty void

u dont need to unlock bootloader to flash another official firmware...and u also wont loose waranty...i did this many times trust me....if u are interested u can have a look here at this guide... https://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-xz/how-to/how-to-flash-firmware-using-flashtool-t3523946
feel free to ask before u continue with flashing if u never did that.

i just looked at xperiaFirm and ur right about singapour ftf it is .417 latest but u can flash any customized firmware u want it will work the same...u have many options there from arabic ftf to vietnam ftf flash any of these they are all .223.... it must work.
