hii i hav been using xda for over a year .but this my first post ( feeling exited
my name is FAIYAZ and while creating my account ,by mistake i did a spelling mitake . i created faiyas.ma1 instead of faiyaz.ma1,, And i used my main gmail account for it,so i cant create a new one too..
IS THERE A WAY TO CHANGE USER NAME ? OR DELETE ACCOUNT ?? PLZZ HELP SORRY FOR THIS TUPID QUETION

You can use multiple email address with a Gmail account.
From the Gmail Help :

Using an address alias
Gmail doesn't offer traditional aliases, but you can receive messages sent to [email protected].
For example, messages sent to [email protected] are delivered to [email protected].

i know that, but i use that email id for fb and all other stuff.. i want same email id with this xda but different user name .. help me !!!

I am using the default email client!(social hub) as provided by Samsung.
Whenever I send a message to anyone, my email address is shown.
As per me there is no such option where I can set the display name as is available in majority of email clients.
But still i would like to set my display name as my name and not my email address..
Please don't ask me to login via Web and change display name there. As its the property of email client and not of the email service provider....

Kindly understand that starting a new thread won't help you get an answer faster or better, you could wait for someone to answer the question in the previous thread.
This ^ is correct. Please don't create duplicate threads just because your first one doesn't get an answer. There's always the Q&A thread which gets a bit of traffic, too.

Guys since bbm is out for android, we can noe make a group if xda on it.. Write down the pins over here and i will add you up.
For all those who are in line, invitation email id are as follows. Try using them
1) [email protected]
2) [email protected]
3) [email protected]
OR
try random email ids...it works...just use any common name and [email protected] gmail.com...may not be succesful at first try...but will surely work in four five trys... (THANKS TO harshad from our xda group)

I am using a server with (IP address and password ) , So you do not need to fill yours.
I hope it's answer your question.
