[Theme] Zipthemer kitkat hybrid statusbar/quicktoggle icons V2.2 Dec 1 - G2 Themes and Apps

This is a zipthemer package designed to modify the icons in the status bar. its the stock G2 images, tweaked more like the style of kitkat. transparent properties, cleaned up a little, white. ect.
instructions;
download and install zipthemer. How too on using zipthemer is here
a new file called "kitkathybrid-update.zip" and "kitkathybrid-undo.zip' should have been created. THESE are what you flash, not the file you downloaded. the update file is to make the changes, the undo, is to undo those changes.
flash the update file in recovery
all done!
Take note that in the screenshot, i have the G2 xposed mod going for transparent status bar and nav bar. This mod does NOT change those.
Change Log.. V1.1
Fixed Tmo data icons, should be white now.
V2
Changed wifi icon to be more like kit kat
change Vz 4g icon like kitkat (LTE)
Change Data indicator icons
Change Tmo 4g icon to kitkat
Soften images (hardly noticeable but i noticed it so changed it)
Made quick toggle icons white (The text is still blue, not able to change this)
changed pulldown handle to Kitkat style
V2.1
Changed the data icon layout. It was bugging me and didnt look right for the 4g and wifi. looks a lot cleaner now i think
V2.2

Mine failed in TWRP too, I am on Malladus and created the two ZIPs, did you use Edify to help the ZIPs?

When you hit menu, update edify, you navigate to where mallidus (or whatever your ROM is) and select the ROM zip. Then hit configure and then when you see 'success' just hit back to go back to the main page. Then rebuild the theme and you're good to go.

Just flashed this on my T-Mobile G2, and it's working great. However, the arrows below the 4G LTE icon are still cyan, is there anyway to get them white?

I'm also running stock and rooted and used this. Any chance you've flashed a mod, maybe to change something on the statusbar or navbar? When updating edify just pick whatever mod you've used in the past. Works great.

[Theme] [Port] [11.23.11] ICS 3.2.1 [BACK INTO TESTING]

Hello users,
Here is the ICS theme port from T-Mobile GS2. I would like to thank and give credits go to "BigBangHD" and "Vertumus" because i used a lot from their themes so please visit the original links and thank them and also thank me...lol...comments and suggestions are always appreciated so please don't hesitate to comment or suggest. If you like my work then hit that thanks button for me...Enjoy!!!

Instructions:
Wipe Cache
Wipe Dalvik Cache
Flash Theme
Fix Permission
Reboot and Enjoy!!!
***The theme comes with Roboto Font and if you want to change it to SonySketch then go into settings--->display--->screen display--->Font style---> and choose SonySketch. Im sure most of the people know this already but just in case if someone doesnt.***
***[3.2.1] ICS Animations (100% Working)***
***[ICS 3.2] Added TW launcher with 4 row columns and ICS ANIMATIONS (Thanks to BigBandHD for his help and thanks to capez for his guide)!!!
***[ICS 3.1 Patch for All Roms] Settings fix, new toggles, some changes in framework. Follow this link if you want ICS themed swype ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1335773 ) Thanks to I_am_Error for this .***
***[ICS 3.1 Patch for Juggernaut 3.1] Fix for gps icon, new toggles, some changes in framework. Follow this link if you want ICS themed swype ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1335773 ) Thanks to I_am_Error for this
***[11.20.11] ICS 3.0 patch includes settings.apk (themed the icons to match the theme). It also includes the fix for Juggernaut 3.0 swype to remove notification (I would like to thank "Romanbb" for guiding me on that). And it includes the ICS themed swype (Thanks to I_am_Error for introducing and thanks to "DJDarkKnight" for theming it)****
***[11.18.11] Hello my XDA friends, what we got here would just blow your mind...in this update i redid the dialer and phone, made some changes in framework and TW launcher so everything works now in the launcher. Also, added goodies including the SonySketch font, ICS wallpapers, ICS analog clock, and ICS themed magic locker. There is only one version for Juggernaut and all other roms now, H+ was removed but attached the Flashable H+ icon zip at the bottom to make things more easier. The theme is much cleaner and better looking, especial with SonySketch Font. I am making some custom battery mods for this theme to make this theme more exciting. And don't forget to hit that damn thanks button for me Enjoy!!!!***
***[11.17.11] Ladies and gentlemen I have spent alot of time flashing every single ROM and testing the theme on each n everyone of them...it turned out that the same works on all roms which makes sense because they are all KID base...I have fixed a lot of minor issues and have added some new stuff like themed Mms.apk and rethemed Phone.apk. Also I included all the system apps and fonts in the theme so you would not have to do an extra step...I spent a lot of F**king time on this so at least click that F**king thanks button...LOL...Enjoy!!!***
***This update [11.13.11] comes with the stock ICS battery Mod. If you want a accurate battery Mod, look at the attachements, also i took out the system apps and made a separate flashable zip so if you guys want the ICS laucher, dialer, and rest of the icons then download and flash "stock apps". I changed the H+ icon to 4G icon but if you want H+ icon instead then download SystemUI.apk from the bottom and push it into system/app using root explorer. Also added the themed miui battery bar (Thanks for Whitehawks, Mongo41 and my little cousin for the help with miui bar). Enjoy!!!***

The update is working but no status bar I am using this rom:
BoneSTOCKeteer = Rogers UXKJ7 based stock rom for both AT&T and Rogers with bloatware removed and is deodexed, rooted, and zip aligned. Oh and of course since this ROM isn't based on stupid AT&T UCKJ2, there will no carrier IQ in it and working MMS. This will be a great base ROM for devs to start getting ROMs on our phones.
I don't know if that's the issue. I am also getting the same error messages.

That orange and blue data logo is wicked. Can't wait to flash this tomorrow, thanks!
Also, I can't believe I'm consciously choosing to go to bed over flashing "just one more thing".

ive downloaded it twice. wont install. says failed in red.. lol TWRP 2.1.8
I re-uploaded the flashable zip file.
Try it again:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1137459&stc=1&d=1339994521
let me know if it works
If it still doesn't install through recovery: (Connect phone to PC in CHARGE MODE only)
1- Extract the SystemUI.apk file and save it in a folder.
2- Use ADB to push SystemUI.apk (extracted in step 1) to the app folder in phone
adb push SystemUI.apk /system/app/
3- Once it's pushed. Do an ADB reboot of the phone
adb reboot
4- Enjoy
Make sure that HTCSync is closed in the computer's system tray.
Also, if ADB fails at pushing the SystemUI.apk into the phone, use the remount command
adb remount
then continue from step 2.
I just flashed it using the latest twrp recovery and it worked!! Thanks for this modification. I like the look. Here is a screenshot.

Well the icons from the link in the op only have them for 4g LTE and 3g so I'm guessing they replaced the HSPA+ icons with the 4G LTE icons to make them all look the same instead of having the plain white icons for HSPA+ and the colored icons for LTE and 3g.
Iam pretty sure you can make correct ones

Oh, and thank you for the theme. It's a great way to set my phone apart from the standard GS3. I'm a big fan of blue, so that was a big plus. Your icons are stellar.
hmm cant get the cool quick icons from the top notification bar mine are still ugly green but my status bar is cool

[MOD] Black Status Bar [VZW | T-MO | AT&T | International]

This mod is no longer maintained. Look here for a better alternative.
I disliked the black gradient status bar and navbar and decided to make a SystemUI Mod for the VZW LG G2. This mod modifies the LGSystemUI.apk.
Features:
Black Status Bar
VZW only: Black Navbar
VZW only: Removed Location Icon
This mod now supports the following variants:
Verizon LG G2 - VS98011A OTA Build
T-Mobile LG G2
AT&T LG G2
International LG G2 (D802)
Requirements:
Root
Recovery (TWRP)
Installation Instructions:
Method 1 (TWRP)
Download the file
Reboot to Recovery (via Goo Manager)
Install zip
Reboot
VERIZON ONLY: Go to Settings>Display>Front touch buttons, and select the theme Black Gradation.
Method 2 (if you do not have TWRP)
Download the the zip and extract it.
Copy the modified LGSystemUI.apk from system/app to your phone
Use Root Explorer (or any working file manager) to delete LGSystemUI.apk from system/app
Move the modified LGSystemUI.apk to system/app & set permissions to RW-R--R--
Reboot
If you want to revert back to the stock status bar and navbar, follow instructions but install BackToStock.zip
Downloads
Verizon:
- Mod
- Mod + no location icon
- Back to stock
T-Mobile: (follow these directions)
- Mod
- Back to Stock
International:
- Mod
- Back to stock
Have AT&T? Check out burningember's mod.

Any chance of a transparent version?
Very cool of you to post this and include the return to stock. Most people do not take the time to post the return to stock. I am going to flash this right now
Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk 2
Works great, thank you!
Your nav bar will still be transparent on stock launcher home screen by the way, which I like.
dude YOU ROCK! like above, any way to get a transparent version for ANY wallpaper? not just stock?

its transparent for me on my custom wallpaper from gallery.
Thanks a million for this! It makes a world of a difference while playing some games and not having a big gray bar on the right side. Black is much easier on the eyes.
Anyway to do this mod for the T-Mobile variant?

Love it. Transparent would be cool on live wallpapers as i dont use still photos much

I'm not sure if I did something wrong, but my navbar is transparent using the stock launcher on home screens but still gray/white in apps. The status bar is black however in apps. I flashed using Flashify instead of GooManager.

Go to Setting>Display>Front touch buttons. Under Background Settings, the theme should be Black Gradation. Also, check or uncheck Transparent background if you want it to be transparent or not for the home screen.
Mod is now available for T-Mobile LG G2!
Downloads for T-Mobile variant:
BlackStatusNavBarTMOG2.zip
BackToStockTMOG2.zip
Note: This has not been tested yet. Flash at your own risk!
Awesome! Thanks!
I don't want to speak for other people but I believe when they request a transparent one I think they mean if it can be transparent on custom launchers. The phone reads Nova, Apex, etc as an app so it won't turn the bars transparent even at the homescreen. Is there anyway to get the homescreen transparency to work for those? Either way, I appreciate the black bars!

4. Move the modified LGSystemUI.apk to system/app & set permissions to RW-R--R--

I have a international variant D802. Any idea how I can achieve this?
Good job..
For international variants, please upload the files lgsystemui.apk..

On Verizon, however I don't have the latest OTA...would this still work?

Cool thanks. He's the only one I've heard of an issue. I'll see what rom he's running. I know he's on an international version, so something may be different.
Thanks for the reply.

Hmmm, not sure why that wouldn't theme for you. Maybe try flashing the theme one more time, and see if it shows. If it doesn't you may want to pick another theme and go through the uninstall/install process to seeing if starting fresh may work.
