but i can play initial D like a boss with that

FPSE is by and away the best emulator i've used for the PSX, it's rock solid.
Tiger Mame for Arcade emulation.
N64oid for N64
NeoDroid for NEOGEO
All of these are aimed at recreating the actual game at the right framerate and with the right graphics, FPSE does this well, even though ePSXe does a better job at speed, this is becoming less noticeable with stronger hardware and FPSE is coming into it's own, N64oid also allows better control with the analogue sticks on Six axis controllers.
Tiger mame (besides some rom's messing up on sound and some incompatibility) for what games it runs it runs them perfectly, I don't think it's updated no more, but it's still very capable.
NeoDroid, what can i say, this is the only NEOGEO emulator that i would ever use, it's perfect.
Just my bit of input

Best Nintendo emulator? How about from Nintendo themselves?
Check out this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/general/general/nintendo-nx-to-support-android-t3315331/
I wouldn't know about the other emulators.

The Game Recommendation Thread

The Game Recommendation Thread
All of you that have XDA's knows that a good time-waster is fun games. But
where do you find these fun games? Choosing between thousands of
thousands of games can be quite a lackluster.
My idea of this thread is to let people post their game recommendations for
XDA's, URL's to the games can come handy too. Everyone looking for fun
games can later on use this thread instead of making new ones. We'll
have all high-quality games gathered in one thread.
My recommendations are:
Monopoly - http://www.pdalive.com/monopoly.php
Age of Empires - http://www.pdajunkie.net/ageofempires.htm
Duke Nukem 3D - http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=11579&highlight=duke3d
Come on fill the thread with your top game recommendations!
A decent freeware game that I've played for years is ICBM, a version of the old Missile Command game.
A version for ARM chips (which works with my I-mate) is here:
http://www.furf.net/Files/PocketPC/games/ICBM-PocketPC-ARM.exe
I really like and play pocket conquest, a funny risk type game.
Rups
my list:
Bejeweled 2
Bust'em 2
GlibertPDA
Mau Mau
Virtual Pool Mobile
tripYzee a nice freeware dice game
tankzone
peter's gamebox
dots...
My favourite game at the moment id Crazy Bubbles by Pocketmind, they give you a free trial of it when you download Pocket Music and I got hooked- it's like Jawbreaker, only good!
My current favorite is Li-nuggz: one big plus that it can map the phone call/end buttons on xda1.
http://games.elements.nl/
My all time fave is Age of Empires!!
Strip Blackjack eats time!
others are Monopoly, Street Duel! and Virtual Pool Mobile
Worms
Worms world party, by Jamdat

I use Morphgear as well. It's great playing old classic SNES games on it. It's a bit slow on my XDA IIs though.
XDA IIs is good for morphgear because there are enough button to map a SNES joypad onto it. I've heard you can even map it to the thumbboard, which I need to try still.
Morph + VBoy

These emulators provide fast speed and good sound (when turned off radio, no programs running in background and sound frequency is lowered to xda's (22.1))
Morph for NES/SNES/Sega = fast speed and good sound
and
VBoy for GameBoyAdvance = fast speed and good sound
As for joy, I hate the virtual pad and assign the following keys:
Camera button = Select/Modes
Recording button = Start
Contacts and Calendar = A and B
where X and Y are necessary I stop "cprog.exe" and assign buttons to Start and End talk buttons
Cheers

NB: Some games developed for different chipsets (e.g. NVIDIA Tegra) can be run on the Note with the help of the Chainfire3D intermediary OpenGL driver (XDA thread). You will need the correct Chainfire3D plugin in order to run the game; if you don't have the plugin already you will need to download a plugin and then install it.

Gameloft games
All of the Gameloft games I've tried so far from the Android Market give the message "Your device is not supported" when you attempt to run them on the Note.
I'd recommend not purchasing any Gameloft games directly from the Android Market at the moment. Instead visit the Gameloft site and purchase the Samsung Galaxy Note version of the game (NB: AFAIK the Note is not currently supported for any games on the Gameloft site as of 13/11/2011).
Transferring Gameloft games from another Android device to your Note
Thanks to famiglia who wrote the original guide upon which this guide is based.
If you already have a Gameloft game installed on another Android device (or you have another Android device on which you can download and install the game) then you can transfer it to your Note with the following method and see if it works.
Prerequisites:
Your Note must be rooted
Titanium Backup is required for backing-up & restoring the applications
Steps:
Make sure any extra required data for the game to launch has been download on your other Android device.
Using Titanium Backup, make a backup of the game.
Copy the game's resources folder (located in /gameloft/games/ and named either "GLOFTXXXX" or the name of the game) and the Titanium Backup of the game to your PC/Mac.
Transfer the game's Titanium Backup to your Note.
Transfer the resources folder to /gameloft/games/ on your Note.
Run the Titanium Restore for the game on your Note.
Submit a game
When submitting a game please include the following the information to help make the list of games more helpful and easier to use (and save me the work!):
Please only suggest games which you have tested and confirmed working on the Samsung Galaxy Note. Do not submit untested games.
The name of the game
A link to the game download/purchase page (required only if the game did not come from the Android Market)
Whether the game has HD or SD graphics:
HD if the game runs fullscreen and the majority of graphics, textures, text and outlines appear sharp and crisp
SD if the game does not fill the whole screen or if the majority of the textures/graphics/text appear stretched, blurry, "blown up" or pixellated (unless this behaviour is specifically intended)
Any common major and minor issues encountered when running the game on the Note (graphics glitches or artefacts, gameplay issues or bugs, licensing issues, crashes etc)
Thanks mate
which version of Sprinkle worked with you ?
Thanks. And what version of nfs hot pursuit works?
Sprinkle: 1.5 - The THD version with Chainfire3D + NVIDIA plugin from Android Market (com.mediocre.sprinkle)
Hot Pursuit: 1.0.4 - Android Market version with Chainfire3D + NVIDIA (com.eamobile.nfshp_row_wf)
Any fix?
Does anybody know how to fix 9mm or Back Stab HD? I have Chainfire 3D and all the plug ins bla bla. As far as I know, they work on the SII?
Is it possible for anyone to test N.O.V.A. 2 HD as it comes up supported on market but I just want to make sure before spending money. I have even emailed Gameloft but they have not send me any reply as of yet (24 hrs and counting).
Thanks

Doesn't work.
The issue with most Gameloft games is they check the precise model of your device before downloading the extra data and they have not added the Note yet, so you'll get a message saying something like "Your device is not yet supported. Please request a refund." when you first start the game -- they don't even let you attempt to see if it would work (which it probably would!).
However if you already have the apk + data files for Gameloft games a few will work fine if you copy the data files to your device first then install (Hawx, Hero of Sparta, Dungeon Hunter and Gangstar I have all got running with this method so far, I'll test more later including Backstab and see if this method works).

Added PES 2012 to the list. All of the emulators (FPse, N64oid, GameBoid etc) seem to work pretty well on the note - N64oid in particular since the games are actually rendered in 1280x800 resolution making them much sharper than they were originally.
Also added Aftermath XHD, MyCountry and XPlane 9 (with Chainfire + NVIDIA plugin).

I think it's laggy on every phone. Even the dev acknowledges it and says that he is working on a fix.
you can add princess punt to the list of games that works well. theres a THD version, but the one i tested was the one on the market (maybe SD?).
fills up whole screen. only slight fps drop though (runs at around 50fps). its smooth, but the drop was noticeable for me since i had the THD version running slightly more smoothly on my atrix.
From Samsung apps (free)
Asphalt 6 HD!
Is there any chance someone with a Note would be kind enough to try out Scummvm with the stylus and report back how well it works?
I'd be really grateful.

It doesn't work like you'd hope. Its just how Scummvm works normally (ie: you tap and drag anywhere on the screen to drag the on screen cursor around.)
Maybe we can ask the dev nicely to add a stylus control method
It does look very nice though.

TigerMame/Arcade Neo Geo Emulator...

Can you still purchase this emulator? I'm getting dead links on the Tiger King's site.
I have Neo.emu which works great but it doesn't run half the roms that Tiger King's emulator plays.
I don't want the free version of TigerArcade as I want to use save states.
Thanks.
I don't know, but personally I use Tigermame for Capcom games and Neo.emu for Neogeo games.
IMO: I hate to reconfigure joypad when I switch between the Capcom and Neogeo games.

Sixaxis Controller - Supported games, profiles, etc.

Hello!
I am sure that most of you have heard about this app: Sixaxis Controller. It allows you to play with the PS3's wireless gamepad at your tablet, smartphone, via Bluetooth. It's simply awesome.
So, here goes the idea: Let's make a thread collecting info about which games support it natively and sharing the touch profiles for those games that don't support it.
GAMES WITH NATIVE SUPPORT:
Bard's Tale --> I really-really recommend you this game, it's an original story with good graphics and native Sixaxis support. [Preview Image 1] [Preview Image 2] [Preview Image 3]
Beach Buggy Blitz--> Very good graphics and in-game support, but not for the menus! [Preview Image]
FPse --> The well-known PSX emulator. [Preview Image 1] [Preview Image 2]
Grand Theft Auto III--> Fully recommended, full menu + in-game support [Preview Image]
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City--> As the other one, the saga continues! [Preview Image]
Max Payne Mobile--> A very good discovery, nice graphics and total Sixaxis support, even the menus. [Preview Image 1] [Preview Image 2] - Thanks to kayteck1
N64oid --> Works really great, with no configuration needed [Preview Image] - Thanks to asustf700t
VGBA - GameBoy (GBA) Emulator --> Also with native support, don't know how many roms it supports I just tried the Pokemon Emerald [Preview Image]
Shine Runner--> Awesome graphics and in-game support, but not in the menus! [Preview Image]
GAMES WITH CONFIGURABLE SUPPORT: These are the games in which you have to configure the gamepad in-game somehow.
Dead Trigger
ePSXe for Android--> Intuitive UI, but you need to configure the gamepad and it has lower resolution graphics. For my opinion, it's better the other PSX emulator (FPse). [Preview Image] - Thanks to asustf700t
Shadowgun
Shadowgun: DeadZone
TOUCH PROFILES: Download the file and save it into "/storage/sdcard0/data/com.dancingpixelstudios.sixaxiscontroller/profiles"
Lep's World --> [Download] [Preview Image] - Thanks to ErrieR
Muffin Knight --> [Download] [Preview Image] - Thanks to ErrieR
So, I hope that this is the beginning of a big info and profile recompilation thread for the Galaxy Note 10.1

RetroArch emulates multiple systems, and you can play Cave Story with it. I really like it!
Use this post to set it up: http://forum.themaister.net/viewtopic.php?pid=1232#p1232

Thanks, I've been trying some emulators and added to the list N64oid and VGBA. Will try epsxe in a moment, I am just updating my N8000's rom :highfive:

haha nice! high five!!:highfive:
I'd be more excited about the reverse of this, using the Note as a Sixaxis emulator to navigate the XMB as my controllers have a massively annoying time connecting with bluetooth now for some reason

Good stuff man, I just bought a dual shock 3 and this is really helpful
I have problem in arcane legends with analog setting. It is very hard to navigate (much easier by hands). Mayby someone know how to set analog to move the character?
I use relative mode.
