Pop up browser alternative.. - Galaxy Note 3 Themes and Apps

I've been missing Pop Up Browser, I've come across Floating Browser in the play store, and actually quite like it, give it a go..

Pen window
Sent from my SM-N900T using Tapatalk now Free

nope, pen window is too much hassle, ill stick to floating browser

It's sort of still there. At least when clicking on links and playing videos.

Boat has a great new "floating boat" feature.

Try: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.watea.apps.cobra

I can upload the one from Tweaked for you.

Errr, there are at least 3 Floating Browsers in the Play Store. Could you be more specific, don't want to install and uninstall all of them.

Need to have a ROM that supports it, like
SynergyROM w/Multiwindow r169
I've been using it more and more. Just now drafted a Tapatalk post while looking up info in Chrome.
In the morning, I'll open Gmail and K-9 Mail in split windows on landscape. It's nice to go through the bulk morning emails.
Spotify and Facebook
Google Task Organizer and Biz Calendar
Wikipedia and Evernote
Just to name a few. It's fun to experiment with and find good matches.

I prefer not to use it
I like using it while using pandora and notepad, jotting down songs while I play ps3! And also use it for youtube or music applications and messaging.

Multi-window in its current state is too clunky. A gesture-based system would be more pleasant

The Note 2 has the same screen resolution as our S3's, therefore it really shouldn't be much different.

Next Browser by Go Dev Team - Best damn browser yet.. seriously

The Go Dev team just released a browser and I have to admit, it's impressive. I've always used the stock browser because other browsers didn't work out for me, and I tried out most of them.
I'm in love with this browser, it's slick, fast, bookmark management is top notch.
You really just need to try it because this post doesn't do it justice..

well, they speed up my writing speed and saves my time.
also it doesn't have private browsing feature
It also doesn't load most of the pop ups, shows up as white page.
also no way to set main page and the ability to recover a closed page(not history)
Very similar to the latest dreadfully Opera, much better though.
Nice amount of eye candy, pages pan smoothly on my Note.
No real issues yet apart from a couple responding pages, though almost every page I went to on Opera stuffed up.
Given A little time this browser will be a winner I reckon..

Love their launcher, so I'll check this out
I cannot hold on,
I will not let go
Really nice browser but it crashes the whole time on my nexus 7. When I open multiple tabs it freezes and i have to send a crash report. I close it and restart the browser and I get i white screen and after 30 seconds I get the ability to send crash report or close it. I close it and then I can start it and use it again.
It is a beta but I can't use it before they fix this.

This would be perfect for tablet, since you dont need a dock for the phone and such. How did you get it onto your tablet (I am assuming that you did).

I designed SickSky for phones and not for tablets. The problem is if I allow it as compatible with tablets on Play, then a lot of people would not be happy with how it runs on a tablet (ie no landscape, no tablet-specific layouts etc). Anyhow it is still in beta for now.
Unfortunately the Play Store says it's incompatible with the HD2.
Says its incompatible with my Galaxy Nexus also.

It was like you just disappeared, and other than some scant tweets from your feed, felt like it's been forever.
On-topic: I take it unless otherwise, do you plan to include the ability to create additional homescreens, or is SickSky just a "single screen" deal?

From what I remember Slimbean has a non-standard DPI by default, so you will most likely get compatibility issues with a few apps on Google Play. I have however had quite a few reviews from Galaxy Nexus owners.

It has been a good couple years. For now I am going to focus on building panels to suite most needs. Next up will probably be a shortcuts panel. Not impossible to add widget panels later on, but going to stay clear from that for now since I wouldn't use that myself.

That's cool. When I saw that development ceased on Zeam's Google Play page, I downloaded ADW EX Launcher (I still hold the Zeam apk files). The one feature that these two have that no one else seems to include were the ability to hold a good number of apps in their dock drawers.

Just read too that it's not free - you have to activate (pay) to continue using it.
The search continues... Can it be that difficult to find a free calculator app for the SW2?? For goodness sake!!!
QuickCalc (by Sascha Löffler)
And it is even calculating right!
A common error for devs is that they don't use math right, for example:
one app: 3+3*5 = 30
the other: 3+3*5 = 18
Have seen many, even so called "scientific calc" apps, apps that don't know basic rules of math!

Sorry!
Install remote widget on your phone, this gives you the ability to push any of the widgets on your phone onto your watch. Find a decent calculator widget and follow the instructions on remote widget to forward it to the phone.

Best browser for S7

Hi, I have just purchased S7 few days ago. I'm satisfied with the device and still getting used to it. Currently, I'm also using iPhone 6S.
I still haven't found the right browser for me. I really like Safari on my iPhone, that can sync all my password and bookmark to Safari on Mac and iPad. Reading list, reader mode, and adblock are also awesome. Is there any browser on Android that come close with this functionality?
Also, does Chrome and Firefox also sync your passwors to Desktop browser? And how do you open tab in background in Samsung Internet Browser?

Chrome would be your best bet but the stock sbrowser while based on chrome is by far the fastest and smoothest (doesn't sync with your desktop though).
I use Dolphin and have done for a long time. Sync bookmarks with for example your Google account , really easy to use bookmarks. Just swipe from left side of screen. I use it on both my Samsung and iPhone
