Note 3 Home screens - show yours! - Galaxy Note 3 Themes and Apps

Swaps sidebar for my apps, and go Sms has an icon popup when I receive a text overall quite happy as it seems to give my phone a bit more umph.. Had a higher score with 3Dmark using this setup over touch whiz.

Coming from years of iPhone usage i'm keeping it pretty stock for now, Touchwiz and a couple of widgets seem enough

[Q] Change default launcher?

Hi,
Would like to get you people's opinion if I should replace the stock launcher with either ADW Ex or LP+?
Thanks advice is much appreciated

I use go launcher...its a matter of taste. Go just happens to have an appdrawer design I like and atheme I enjoy. Just download a few and see what works.
Sent from my Nexus S 4G using XDA Premium App
I downloaded 4 different launcher apps, and used the Home Screen Switcher to test them out.
Its quick and convenient, and you'll never be bored of the look on the device.
Launcher pro for me, the Widgets are nice and the swipe feature to see miss calleds or SMS is the best, I had it over a year now, I use adw but didn't like it as much

Does both of them consume alot of battery compared to stock launcher ... ?
Sent from my Nexus S using XDA Premium App
There should be no diffwerence in battery consumption. I really like LP but ADW is also very good and like stated above it is really a personal preference I have the paid versions of both
ADW does do quite a bit of theming if that is your thing start there first

I bought the LP+, and definitely didn't look back. One gripe is that there aren't much font back on the market ...

New Home Launcher

I just found this launcher and wanted to share it. It's awesome. Had features I haven't seen on other launchers. You can pull the SMS and phone icons up and view your latest calls and texts straight on your home screen in a pull up drawer. Check it out

Not really my taste, but it has a LOT of potential though! I wish the developers luck!
If you could change the dock icons it would be awesome

[APP][REQUEST] tablet ui home replacement launcher

I love the tablet ui mods that have been made possible by these wonderful devs. But most of these mods are only useable by stock Roms. Roms that are heavily modified can cause interference, lag, and system fc's. Those roms happen to be the ones I like most. Smh. So why not have a home replacement app that mimics the tablet ui mod. Tablet ui works for me because the notifications bar it's at the bottom. And I'm using a sg note2 and it is more easily accessible from the bottom. So why not have a home replacement app with its own notifications bar that can be customized to be placed at the top out bottom, and can be switched to phablet mode as well, and resizable grid.

What is your phone? AOSPA ROM is really stable. Or alternatively, use apex AND lmt launcher. Lmt should provide you with something similar to a tablet UI while apex will let you hide everything else.
Edit: Not familiar with your phone but my advice still stands

Switched it up to a three screen setup. Using Apex launcher plus a theme, multipicture live wallpaper, uccw and simple RSS. Great setup by Droidscreens.

Might as well start: Have 5 screens but they contain personal info and I'm away from a PC to edit them so here's the first 3.

I had to dump stock for nova launcher, drove me nuts that you couldn't center certain widgets on the stock launcher.

Yeah, just press and hold the icon and let go. You should see a purple thing on the icon. Press it. Now you can change your icons

Mine is really basic right now as well. I had switched to Nova launcher but when I did, I lost the Knock Knock feature. It'ls pretty damn handy... I hope we see icon packs made for the stock launcher or a way to enable the gestures without needing to use the stock launcher.

I just saw instructions in one of the g2 threads to use the knock feature with nova. I can't find it now. There is another app you need to download and set up the gesture in Nova.
