The downloaded file is with extension .txt Do we have to remove the extension and replace with original file.

I am confused by the title. Does the volume only increase for the headset?

3. Copy to the right folder
4. Set rights to the same as your original
5. If everything goes kaaboom... Here is a copy of the file.

I thought it worked but no there is no change. I think not understood the instructions. file downloaded is snd_soc_msm_Taiko.txt do we have to remove only "txt" or also _Taiko.txt The original file in etc is snd_soc_msm with permissions rwxr-xr-x

No your good, I should have clarified this in my first post. Just name it bootanimation.zip and copy it to your /system/media folder. If you want to keep your old bootanimation.zip I would recommend to either rename it as bootanimation.zip.bak or move it to your SDcard. Anyways once its copied over no need to change permissions, simply reboot and enjoy the humor.

Yes, if you notice I am on R800x. All you need is root. Just place the bootanimation.zip in your system folder... example:
System/Media/(paste file here) Reboot and watch the show..... :laugh:

Glad it worked well. The apk is sent there as seperate app that can be overdone with other sms app if needed in kitkat as default I believe.
here is the apk for the LeBrone James app exclusive for Samsung Galaxy devices all you need to do is put it in the folder system/priv-app to work with correct permissions and reboot it won't install as a regular apk you need to this manually
this might work for other devices also but I haven't tested since I only own this device

Downloaded and moved the app to system/priv-app and reboot and it still would not let me install the app? What do the permissions need to be set at? Currently mine are rw-rw-

This is not a Flashable ZIP
1. Download and unpack my zip
2. Put EasySideKey.apk im system/app and set correct permissions.
3. Put xml in my zip in system/etc/permissions and set correct permissions.
4. Reboot
5. Install app called Quickpanel manager from play store or any app that do the same thing
open Quick panel manager then go to edit then add ;SideKey;

It is paid app called edge screen have some features that edge screen has it i use it for now because i am waiting for mr @aapav01[/MENTION [MENTION=524148]aapav to port the real edge screen in his note 5 edge rom that he is porting it right now

Screen is black , but you can go to download mod , just push the buttons. (1. remove battarey, put it back, 2. push power + home + vol down. 3.after volume +. )
Volume on Max(PC) , and connect USB , u can hear the connection sound.
and flash original frimwere with odin

guys, take logcat to solve this issue.
adb > logcat.txt
A logcat will show me why it doesn't work.
The next update will come on Monday or Tuesday.
It will fix the dead issues and it will be on the correct format.
I need a logcat
Another thing you can try is to format the system and put this system in the phone.
